So quick heads up.

As some of you already noticed, I've started to take a turn towards the more emotional side of things. FIght scenes are going to be just as epic, but the decisions each character makes throughout their journey will impact each other and these consequences, whether good or ill, will be shown in as raw a form as I can possibly muster.

And here we go everybody! New chapter, new insanity. Let's get this show on the road!

I don't want to be alone…

Tsukune and Kurumu walked up to Moka, who stood up from the gravestone she had been sitting on. Tsukune shuffled awkwardly as Kurumu suddenly rushed to her vampiric friend and hugged her tightly. He stood there as the two women held each other for a couple minutes, understanding that this was something he shouldn't interfere in. Moka stepped away from the embrace and walked over to stand in front of Tsukune.

He looked down, shame plain in his eyes. He felt horrible that he was most likely the one who would condemn Inner Moka, the one who pulled his ass out of the fire (literally with Kuyo) time and time again. And if he couldn't remove this rosario, she would be alone.

Moka gently lifted his head up, a finger beneath his chin. She looked at him straight in the eyes, sadness behind her emerald green orbs, yet the love and care she felt for this man shone through. "Don't be sad. You aren't making the choice to do anything to us. This is just the way things are." Her hand drifted down to his and pulled it up to her rosario. Kurumu stood nearby, worry evident in her features. Tsukune grasped the jewelled cross and took a deep breath before tugging on it.

Kurumu winced, before shock spread across her face. The rosario refused to budge, ignoring Tsukune's attempts to pull it off the choker around the vampiress' neck. Slowly, he lowered his hand from the rosario, glancing up at his first friend. Tears filled her eyes, threatening to spill over as they stood there. Gently, Tsukune pulled her into a comforting hug as she sniffled, the tears managing to escape her eyes and flow down her cheeks. Kurumu stood to the side, recognizing that her Destined One was just trying to comfort the Vampiress and nothing more.

The two of them stood there in the graveyard for a minute more, before Tsukune pulled away, mumbling his apologies before turning to leave. Kurumu walked over to Moka and put a comforting hand on her shoulder before turning to leave with her Tsukune. Tears flowed like rivers down the sides of the pink haired vampire's face, and for once her other side remained silent, the damnation of an eternity alone weighing heavily on her.

Outer Moka slumped against a tombstone, sitting on the ground as tears silently poured down her face. She felt horrible for her inner self. How could she not? They lived together more intimately than the closest of lovers. Sisters, twins that could feel every blissful moment of happiness, every heart wrenching pang of sadness that the other experienced. She pulled her knees up to hide her face as she quietly cried for her sister's lost life, just as Inner Moka let her cold facade crumble and wept within the confines of her rosario.

Unbeknownst to the vampire, someone was quietly stalking out of the shadows towards her, grinning maliciously to himself after playing witness to the entire exchange.

With Tsukune and Kurumu

The pair slowly made their way around the campus, wandering aimlessly. The experience with Moka had left both of them with darkened spirits. Kurumu glanced at Tsukune, noticing the guilt and sadness plain on his face. Before he realized it, she had captured his lips against hers and held him tightly against her, showing her passion and love for him as best she could. He utterly melted into the kiss, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close to him.

Separating their lips, she rested her head against his chest, the beating of his heart calming the whirlwind of emotions within her mind.

"It isn't your fault Tsukune. Sometimes things are simply because they are. Just like that." She mumbled to him, knowing that he was condemning himself for being unable to remove the rosario. He looked down at her, knowing the truth in her words yet still unable to shake loose the feeling of guilt he had within his heart. The elemental held his beloved close to him, finding comfort in her presence.

Tamel and Uven stood on an adjacent rooftop, observing the two. Their powers allowed them to easily hear the conversation between the two, and the interaction between them and the vampire.

"He was a good choice. Kind, caring, charismatic, powerful, and steady in his resolve and beliefs." Uven commented to his partner, turning away from the two to gaze over the school. "This school of his has created exactly what we all desired."

Tamel nodded. "Indeed it has. Younglings, learning to question the hate and prejudice of their elders, breaking the boundaries between races. It has been a damn slow process, but hell, youkai are some thick-headed motherfuckers." the God of Chaos said, chuckling to himself.

Uven turned sharply to his slightly psychotic comrade. "Do not forget about the forces invading this world. They are nothing we have ever seen before. Let us hope our new champion and this… other one are up for the task. For if they are not," he turned back to look out at the students milling about around the campus.

"Then they shall cease to exist."

Graveyard with Moka

Outer Moka wiped her eyes. It had been nearly twenty minutes since Tsukune and Kurumu had left her in the graveyard. For the vast majority of that time, she simply cried for Inner Moka's lost freedom, as she did within the seal. Outer Moka felt exhausted. With some small hiccups, she stood, sniffling after crying for so long.

"Hey there Moka-chan. You alright?"

She whipped around, surprised at the newcomer.

"Oh! Hello Torabe-san. I'm fine." She smiled, hoping to convince her classmate. He was larger than Tsukune, both in stature and weight, thanks to his enthusiasm with the rugby team. He was almost completely sheer muscle and had dark hair, bordering on black with arms that appeared almost too long for his body. The smile of his always managed to send shivers down her spine. Torabe always had a very disturbing smile on his face when he heard of the suffering of others.

"You don't seem fine Moka-chan," he said, drifting closer to her, "I could have sworn I heard you crying not two minutes ago."

"Oh no, no I wasn't crying or anything like that." She replied, every instinct in her body screaming at her to get as far away from this person as possible.

"Mmmm." Torabe moaned, smelling the air and drinking in a scent only he could seemingly sense, "I love it when they deny the truth, try to lie and slink away from their fate." His mouth split into a grin, his teeth extending and becoming sharper.

Moka's eyes widened, panic starting to grip her. Without the ability to remove her seal she had a snowball's chance in hell of defeating him in any kind of combat. Her only option was to run but before she could turn, Torabe was in front of her.

"And where do you think you're going you delicious morsel you?" He said as darkness poured out from his skin, covering his body.

With the Gods

Tamel turned sharply, the God of Chaos suddenly on edge. "Did you feel that?!"

Leaping up to a higher roof, the God of Death answered him, "They've finally come and shown themselves."

"Who ever they are."

The two gods leapt from the roofs toward the graveyard, landing high in an ancient tree, away from the events unfolding.

The Newspaper Club

Everyone in the room turned at Yukari's sudden yelp.

"What is it?" Mizore asked for everyone gathered there, since Tsukune, Kurumu, and Moka were still out of the room, leaving just her, Ruby, Gin, and the young witch.

Without answering, Yukari sprinted out the door, causing everyone else in the room to scramble after her.

The Graveyard

"Aahh!" Moka screamed as she was thrown into yet another headstone. Her body was bruised and battered. Torabe dwarfed her power with the rosario constricting her. Darkness swarmed over his body, black vapours rising off him as thick syrupy blood dripped from his eyes and nails. Spikes pierced his biceps, nine inches long and rusted.

"Ooooohhh yesssss," the monstrosity moaned. "The terror surging from your helplessness is so utterly delicious! Give me more before I drain your soul!" He roared charging at her yet again.

Fwip Shing!

"Groah! The fuck!?" Torabe yelled, stumbling backwards. Something shiny had slashed his across his eyes, blinding him for a second.

"You stay away from my Moka!"

Torabe turned, facing the young witch Yukari, standing in the graveyard with her wand raised and metallic tarot cards swirling around her, still slightly out of breath from sprinting there from the clubroom. Gin, Mizore, and Ruby rounded the last corner and joined her. Noticing the battered Moka, Mizore rushed to her friend's side, immediately placing her icy hands on the worst of the bruises the vampire had accumulated.

Gin sighed. "Well, looks like its time for me to be the hero and send you to the hospital." He said, trying to look cool as he swept his hair back with his hand before turning to face Torabe. "I can easily seeee-what the fuck is that thing?!" He exclaimed, pointing at Torabe.

The creature chuckled. "So you people have no memory of my kind do you? Have we truly faded into myth and legend, even among the World of Yokai?! How dare you disrespect us! You will fear and bow to us once again little pup! I am-"

"A demon. From the Third Teir of the Darkness." an emotionless voice said.

Everyone turned to face the newcomer. The boy from earlier who had chased his paper into the woods had returned, his escaped slip in his hand. Sighing, he folded it neatly and placed it into his pocket. He turned towards Torabe. "Tell me your true name demon." he stated, power imbuing his voice with a degree of authority.

The demon in question chuckled. "I have no name that can be spoken in this foul tongue, freak. The closest you will ever get is Scourge. I am the devourer of despair and roam the world consuming this power. This is-"

"And that essentially makes you completely powerless in comparison to me. Leave this place, and tell them they are not to set foot into this universe again." The boy said, sweeping his hand to the side.

Torabe roared with laughter. "You think I know not of you, freak? You, the bastard spawn of both-"

"ENOUGH! Leave or I will rip you out of existence!" Power exploded from the boy, cracking the earth beneath him.

Gin growled, changing into his partial form and rushing Torabe, hoping to catch him off guard. Yukari and Ruby read his tactic and attacked with metal cards and vines while Mizore froze his feet and legs to the ground. With a sneer, Torabe flexed his legs and shattered the ice, then, faster than even Gin could follow, he spun around and grabbed the werewolf before using his body to catch the tarot cards and intercept the vines coming at him. He then wound up like a pitcher and threw Gin as hard and fast as he could directly into the elder witch, knocking her out as well.

The demon turned towards the little witch, chuckling maliciously. "Mmm yes, you know you are powerless, don't you little one? There is nothing you can do against my power. You are a snowflake amidst a monsoon. Nothing you can do will even touch me." He said, taking slow deliberate steps towards the genius girl who stood there, petrified in fear.

"Ehhehehehehee the fear of young ones is always so pure and ripe and utterly delicious." He said, reaching out to grab her. A hand smacked down upon his wrist. The new student had managed to get next to the girl without the demon even realizing he had moved!

"I said, back off jackass." The boy literally growled, scaring the witch even further.

Tsukune and Kurumu ran back in time to see the boy stop the demon from grabbing Yukari. Kurumu took flight and grabbed Yukari, bringing her to Moka and Mizore who were watching the confrontation with open mouths. Even Inner Moka was shaken from her sadness seeing the two stare each other down. Tsukune channeled his elemental energy into his body and grabbed the unconscious Gin and Ruby before bringing them to Moka as well. He turned to the two, still locked in a fierce glare, before deciding to be the shield for his friends in case either of them became a threat.

"Let. Go. Freak." Scourge (or Torabe) growled to the boy.

"Only if you back off, monstrosity." He growled right back.

"Alright, THAT IS IT! I'M GOING TO FUCK YOU ALL UP YOU LITTLE SPIT-FUCK!" Scourge roared, ripping his arm free and jumping back to release his full power.

He roared wordlessly, his body bubbling and morphing to let loose the true form of the demon he

kept hidden deep within himself. His arms bulked up until they were twice as large as Tsukune's body, his skin still covered in darkness with a black mist rising off him. His eyes disappeared into the darkness of his face leaving only two glowing circles of red. More spikes materialized out of nothingness and pierced his back while a serpentine tail grew out of his spine and whipped through the air, splattering the syrupy blood over the gravestones. Tusks grew from his cheeks and he roared once again as his demonic power exploded out of him, as powerful as Inner Moka's at her peak, if not greater.

The new student growled and dark lightning crackled around his body before he flung himself directly into the demon. Scourge roared and swung his arm down faster than the speed of sound. It impacted only with the dirt, as the student was standing atop his shoulders, his arm charged with the dark lightning.

"Game over motherfucker."

He smashed his arm down into the demon's skull, shattering it and splattering blood and gore across the graveyard. The boy leapt off the demon's body as it melted into a pool of magma before cooling into stone. He flipped in the air and landed with a flourish as the last of the magma cooled upon the ground. Tsukune looked sharply at this new person. "Who are you?"

The student turned towards the group with a sheepish grin on his face. "Well rule number one is that we're not supposed to reveal our true forms isn't it?" He said, dearly hoping that they would drop the issue at that.

What wishful thinking.

"Tell us, or else." Tsukune said, shifting into an offensive stance. "I don't know whether or not you're a threat but I refuse to give you the chance to hurt them."

We refuse to give you the chance to hurt her!

The new student held his hands up in surrender. "Look, I realize you want answers, but first why don't you tell me who those eavesdropping people are in the tree over there." He said, pointing towards the tree in which the two gods were standing.

"Well fuck. He found us out. Let's go say hi!" Tamel said enthusiastically, bounding off the limb he was standing on, Uven following with a dejected sigh.

Tamel landed with a crash, cracking the ground slightly and bouncing a little before waving to the newcomer. "Hey there. I'm Tamel. I'm the God of Chaos. The gloomy lookin' guy is my buddy, the God of Death, Uven. Pleasure to meet ya."

"Pleasure to meet you as well. Gods you say? What are gods doing here on this world?" He replied.

"Well, that kid over there is kinda my champion." Tamel said, motioning towards Tsukune who was still in his combative stance. "We get little inkinglings i guess you could say. Or, more like an urge I guess but that sounds a little dirty," he whispered sarcastically, "and we channel our energies to manifest within a creature to defend the planet in whichever way he or she chooses." The God of Chaos shrugged. "This time we decided to speed things up a little and give him some tutelage. You know, skip the whole 'learn your power' stage."

"Huh. Well that explains that I guess." the newcomer said.

"Now explain yourself boy." Uven demanded, his power leaking out threateningly. "What are you."

The boy sighed. "I would really rather not tell in all honesty."

The God of Death straightened up and smashed the ground wish his foot, cracking it and causing the shadows to twist and warp beneath his power. Tsukune immediately unlocked his battle form and the dark armour covered his arms again while his eyes changed to red. "This is not a request," The Death God said, "tell us why the fabric of reality bows to your mere presence, why it parts like a river around a rock as you move through it. Answer me before I rip your life away."

Tamel shoved his hands in his pockets, his insane grin returning to his face. "And I will most gladly help him with that endeavor," he stated as his dark purple energy manifested itself around him.

"Fine. Fine fine fine. I didn't want to say but whatever." The boy sighed, before turning to face them all, the gods and the Newspaper Club.

"My full name is Matthias Apollos, and I am the son of Hesediel, the Angel of Mercy, and Lucifer, the Fallen One.

I am the only child of both angel and demon in all of creation."

Well there it is. Man I'm really getting into the swing of writing again. R&R people!
