Dammit...

And she pulled.

Matthias' breath caught as she realized what she, they, wanted. Did he really care about her enough to bypass the seal? To release her Inner Self?

He was answered with a blast of youki. Apparently he did.

Matthias stumbled back a step as Moka's pent up youki blasted out of her in a torrent of power. Bats circled and cried out to one another and swirled around her as the pink bled out of her hair and silver replaced it. Her body matured as she reached up to run her hands through her hair, pulling it out of her face while she sighed, showing her elongated fangs. Slowly her eyes opened, revealing the glittering ruby irises of the true vampiress Akashiya Moka as she took in the world around her for the first time in a month.

Stunned, Matthias stood there, mouth slightly agape as he stared at the woman before him. His eyes trailed over her pale skin, her sterling silver hair, over the utter perfection that he saw within this young vampire. He watched as she stretched out her arms and flexed her fingers for the first time in weeks, finally having control of the body she had been imprisoned within.

Her eyes flicked up and caught Matthias' in her gaze. His eyes widened as he became enraptured with her gaze. Not only were her blood red irises full of minute nuances and subtleties that eluded his gaze, there was a torrent of emotion hiding deep within them. Pain, loneliness, pride, and so many more that he couldn't identify.

She slowly walked towards him as he stared into her eyes. He didn't move, he barely breathed. Nervousness wracked Inner Moka's mind. She knew that nothing was ever set in stone. Her fabled power was no match for these otherworldly creatures like Matthias and Uven. The legends that proclaimed her race's prowess fell dismally short of the strength of Tsukune and Tamel. Emotions can blossom and whither with a single action…

Matthias was snapped out of his wandering thoughts when Inner Moka came to a stop barely a foot before him. She felt embarrassed for the first time in her life. Her! A proud and noble vampire was embarrassed because she happened to be standing in front of a boy. A boy who defended her when he didn't even know her. Who became enraged with a desire to defend her when she was attacked. Who had killed someone for threatening her life.

Hesitantly, she raised a hand and brushed the side of his face gently. It was the first contact she had in so long. She could feel the warmth of his face and saw how his eyes drifted shut as he relaxed and tilted slightly into her touch. She brought her other hand up and touched the other side of his face, memorizing the shape of his face, the face of the person who cared for her above all others. Her vampiric senses drunk in every facet of his person. Her ears listened to the sound of his breathing and heart beat, how they mixed together. His skin was explored by her fingers as they memorized its smoothness and warmth. Her nose drunk in his scent, so much more alluring than Tsukune's had ever been. Her ruby eyes roamed over his face and hair, watching his hair gently flow with the breeze.

Slowly, hesitantly, her hands moved around his neck and pulled him close. He came out of his revere and was surprised to see her holding him close to her. Matthias shakily put his arms around the vampire's waist, feeling her stiffen slightly at the unfamiliar contact then relax. He smiled at how cute she was when she nuzzled into the crook of his neck. His eyebrow arched up when she mumbled into his neck. "What was that Moka-gozen?"

She pulled her face out of his neck. "I said thank you for keeping us safe, dummy."

Matthias pulled her closer. "Of course. You're most certainly welcome." He said with a small smile on his face. They stood there for a moment, each of them enjoying holding the other. Matthias was the first to pull away, only to be stopped by Inner Moka tightening her grip and growling at him. He stopped eyes widened in fear.

"You," she started, words being forced between her clenched teeth, "why are you leaving us?"

He sighed. "Just like I told Moka-chan, I'm a threat to you and everyone we know. I don't even care that I killed that monstrel on the roof."

"So?" She said, finally releasing him and taking a single step back to look straight into his eyes.

He returned her look with confusion. "What do you mean, 'So'?"

Inner Moka flipped a lock of silver hair over her shoulder. "By 'so' I mean exactly that. I feel no remorse at the death of that creature either. What you did was done in the defense of someone who could not protect herself, Omote." She closed the slight gap between the two of them and poked him in the chest. "You managed to keep both of us from dying. Even if you spared him, he wasn't going to change. Not only did you keep Omote and myself from being killed, you also saved every possible victim of his that ever could have been.

Even in the Rosary, I watch. I saw his soul as you pulled it from his body." She looked down as she remembered it. The soul seemed so pure, but the dark red corruption that ran through it was deeply ingrained within it. "That soul was wrong. The red that was in it had been buried deep within it. The Rosario makes the world look, different. It is difficult to explain. I guess it allows me to see part of the ethereal world along with the physical."

Matthias just stared in shock. So she could peek into the realm that he always saw. It was intriguing to say the least.

"So you're not allowed to beat yourself up about it." She finished, looking back up at him with steel in her blood-red irises. Her eyes softened as she looked at him, heat creeping into her cheeks as she blushed and looked to the side again. "And you're not allowed to leave us again either." She mumbled, almost too quietly for Matthias to hear.

"I- wait, what was that?"

Inner Moka turned and even brighter shade of red. Her pride, while weakened by her revelation at Uven's words, was still combating with her emotions. Oh why can't he just realize it already?!

Slowly the light bulb brightened in Matthias' mind. She mea- oh... Oh… He smiled to himself, finally realizing what Inner Moka was saying to him. Ever so gently, he reached over to her and gently placed a hand on her chin, softly yet strongly pulling her face to face him again, and leaned down to gently kiss her on the lips.

Tsukune and the rest of the Newspaper Club headed back to the clubroom with Tamel and Uven following, Uven brooding and Tamel giggling up a storm.

They reached the room and opened the door to find their regular room with Gin sitting at the teacher's desk, giggling at his camera. Undoubtedly giggling at some new photographs he must've taken recently.

Tsukune collapsed into a desk and let his head fall and hit the table with a crack. Kurumu gently laid her hands across his shoulders and he tilted his head up to he was resting on his chin. As Yukari and Mizore took their own seats, he asked Tamel, "So what did we just see happen?"

Tamel looked over at the doorway where Uven was leaning against the doorframe. "You wanna explain old buddy?"

"First, we aren't buddies. Second, because you have the attention span of a gnat, I guess I have to." He sighed and pushed himself up off the frame and walked to the chalkboard, kicking the lecherous werewolf to the wall with a yelp. "Pay attention though. This concerns your world so you better remember this." Kurumu groaned. She wasn't even in class and she STILL had to memorize more stuff!

Uven snapped his fingers and chalk rose from the desk of its own accord and began writing and drawing on the board behind him. "As you four already know, Matthias is a being whose father was a demon and whose mother, an angel. Already a couple of you managed to see the conflict this causes. Demons are typically made up of demonic energy, pure negative force. This power is directly linked with many emotions, hence the seven deadly sins: Wrath, Envy, Pride, Sloth, Lust, Gluttony, and Greed. They all come from emotions of selfishness or the focus on one's own prosperity." As he talked, the chalk drew a pentagram with seven points, each labeled for one of the sins with the word Self written in the centre.

"On the other hand, the angelic realm is very focused on the needs of the many. Helping those weaker than one's self so that all may prosper and generally their power comes from positive energy and so called 'good' actions." The chalk moved to the other side of the board and sketched a quick series of interlinking circles surrounding the word Group. "Despite common thinking, neither of these ideals is inherently good or evil. Each is necessary and neither the Angels nor the Demons have realized this. If one is too concerned with the group, then the self suffers, and vice versa.

Truthfully, within every living soul in this world, both energies are present and appear at different times. This is why when you feel enraged, it seems as though you are more powerful. It is your body calling upon the demonic energies of the self and manifesting them. This phenomenon also explains why so many Asianic cultures pursue enlightenment, or the lack of self. This is when you are in balance with both energies within yourself. The Chinese YinYang symbol shows this perfectly."

Tamel walked forward and began speaking as well, "This symbol shows us that for every force, there is an alternate twin to it, both equal and opposite to it at the same time, and that within each force the sister force is present." He pointed to the YinYang symbol the chalk drew in the middle of the board. "When these energies are in harmony, a person can achieve what many call Inner Peace, where the needs of the many and the self are at equal strength and balanced."

"Now, with these angel/demon hybrids, these energies are rarely even with each other. Usually this is because each one is so strong, they cannot balance properly and clash with each other instead," Uven cut in, "These warring forces cause the child to lose his mind under the pressure, as we mentioned before.

"However, Matthias seems to be a special case. Personally, I think it's due to the fact that Lucifer is not just any demon, he is the Fallen Angel."

"What's the difference between a demon and a Fallen Angel?" Mizore asked while Kurumu laid on the desk with steam pouring out of her ears as her brain overheated.

Uven shook his head. "There aren't multiple Fallen Angels, there is just one. Lucifer is the Fallen Angel. He was once the most loved of all the angels, however he saw how much pain could be caused by the "Many before the One" methodology that all angels followed. He left to show that the needs of the Self were just as important. This makes him both demon and angel. This probably helped stabilize the powers within Matthias, making him a viable host for these energies." Uven concluded, the chalk dropping back to it's previous position with a slight clatter.

"Huh. So I guess that makes him pretty unique then doesn't it?" Tsukune asked.

Tamel nodded. "Indeed it does kid. Even more than you. Because while there is only one of his kind, there are Eight Elementals."

Inner Moka's eyes widened as Matthias pressed his lips against hers hesitantly. She could feel the care he felt for her even though he just met her, the love he felt for her Outer personality as well. After a second of indecision, she melted into the kiss and slowly slid her arms around his neck as his hand slid from her chin to her waist. He pulled her closer to him and held her close as their lips simply stayed pressed against each other.

After a minute he pulled away, leaving them both flushed and varying amounts of red. Matthias looked at her awkwardly, hoping that she wasn't upset with him. She surprised him yet again by resting her head against his chest.

"You know," she said, "that was a pretty damn good first kiss."

His eyes widened. "First kiss?" What?"

"Well what did you expect? I live in the Rosario dummy."

"Oh. My bad."

She looked up at him, playful anger in her eyes. "What, you thought I kissed someone every time I was let out of the Rosario?"

He panicked of course. "Oh, n-n-no! It's just that with everything Yukari said about you and your Outer self and Tsukune I-I-I mean it was kinda natural that I thought, well, that you two… had well, you know…" He trailed off as she started giggling before she burst out laughing. Her laughter was just as pristine and entrancing as Outer Moka's was.

"You dummy." She said after calming down slightly. "I know what you thought. I was teasing you."

"Oh." Matthias said, turning yet again a darker shade of red and looking away. She giggled at him and pulled his head back to face her so she could get another kiss. He happily obliged her and held her close as the full moon spread its light over the forest and the two teenagers.

As they separated for the second time and they looked at each other, simply getting lost in each other's eyes.

"You realize," she said, watching her finger trail along his jaw, "that since you are now my boyfriend, every guy in the school is going to be coming for your head."

"Psh," he scoffed, "let 'em come! I've got the blood of an angel and a real demon in me, with a Super S-Class vampire as my girlfriend. Let's see them try to take you away from me." He flexed his utterly average arms, eliciting another bout of laughter from the silver haired vampiress.

"Mmm but you have your work cut out for you."

"Oh? How so?"

She leaned up and whispered in his ear, "There are two of us."

He whispered back in her ear, "I never forgot." Before nipping her ear lightly, causing her to moan softly.

Inner Moka pulled back from her new boyfriend, sighing. "I kept everything a secret from Omote, so have fun surprising her." She said, winking at the hybrid.

"Are you sure you want to go back into the Rosario?" He asked as he pulled the cross from his pocket.

She took it, smiling sadly. "It is a necessary thing. It allows me to get used to these feelings at my own pace. Don't worry," she said, leaning up to kiss him again, "I will let you know when I want to spend time with you"

With that, she hooked the Rosario back onto the choker and immediately the sealing make her hair change back to pink and caused her to pass out from the sudden power drain. Matthias caught her easily, holding her gingerly and sitting against the tree, holding her in his arms against his chest until she awoke.

After a minute, she stirred, mumbling incoherently about 'meanie ura-chan' and being 'kept in the dark'. She looked up at Matthias who smiled. "Good morning sleepy."

She instantly turned red at the sudden closeness while Inner Moka laughed at her innocent counterpart. Matthias laughed at her attempt to scramble out of his lap and laughed even harder at her confusion as to why he held her there stubbornly. As she turned to face him, she was greeted with him pressing his lips to hers. Just like her Inner counterpart, she froze for a second before utterly melting into his kiss and arms.

Suddenly she pulled out of the kiss. "We can't do this! Ura-chan would be furious and she hasn't accepted you or-" she was interrupted by Matthias' uproarious laughter.

"You really think that I would do that if she wasn't ok with it?" he said, wiping tears from his eyes.

"Eh?" Outer Moka sat there on his lap, her eyes as wide as saucers, absorbing the full implications of what he said.

She squealed in happiness and threw her arms around him hugging him tight. He laughed at her and reciprocated the hug, happy that she was happy. Suddenly, he heard sniffing.

"Uh, Moka, what…"

"I'm sorry… I just can't… help…." She mumbled before opening wide and sinking her fangs into Matthias' neck.

Alright here's the last chapter. And just as a heads up, I got a brilliant idea for the story that is gonna appear in some upcoming chapter that is EXTREMELY GRAPHIC. Like, I'm the author, and envisioning this scene makes me sick to my stomach.

Oh and upcoming smexy times. Just to let you know.
