Chapter 12: The mysterious TARDIS

"Ok easy... EASY!" The doctor was, at the moment teaching Josh and Louise how to fly the TARDIS. Aaron and Daniel were playing GTA 5 in the game room. Right now Josh was having his first lesson. "Pull that lever! Hold on! Your getting a bit to close to the 1700's." Josh glared. "Its not like I'm gonna put a dent in the 1700's" The doctor rolled his eyes. "You can..." An hour later it was Louise's turn. As soon as began she was doing it smoothly.

"Wha-?" "I taught her a bit when she was ten." The doctor explained. Josh nodded. Louise looked over and saw a flashing button. "Err.. Doctor is that bad?" He up and his eyes widened. The TARDIS began to rock violently and knocked everybody to the ground. Aaron and Daniel ran in to see the three of them trying to control the TARDIS. "What's going on?" Daniel shouted. "I don't know! Something's going wrong. She's upset!" The TARDIS gave a final lurch then landed. All the power went off.

"Shit." Louise stated. "No! NO! NO!" The doctor ran around pressing levers. "What's wrong?" The doctor looked at them all. "I don't know she just stopped." They sat in silence for a while until suddenly the power came back on. The TARDIS roared into life. As they began to leave. The Doctor, Daniel and Aaron disappeared. "No she's leaving them behind!" Louise and Josh began hammering at the controls trying to send her back. "No!"

The console sparked sending Louise and Josh onto their bottoms. The TARDIS stopped lurching and they seemed to be drifting through space. Louise and Josh were breathing heavily and looked at eachother. They both stood at the same time and looked at the scanner. "The milky way?" Louise ran to the doors but they wouldn't open. "Shit!" She began banging on the doors. "TARDIS what is it?" She fell to her knees when the machine did not talk to her.

A while after they began wandering through the TARDIS. "Even when I was here 4 years ago. I never explored." Louise said looking around. Josh turned to her. "That's because you! Louise, you are a goodie two shoes." She glared at him and hit his head. "Fuck ow!" Louise laughed and walked on. The walked down some stairs and through an arch. "So this is the swimming pool? Must come down her some time." They headed down another hallway and came to a large open spaced room. In the middle there was a table with two cakes on it. The two looked at eachother then ran over to the table.

They grabbed the two cakes and gobbled them down. Louise began to glow then she found herself shrinking. When she stopped un growing she looked to her left to see a 6 year old Josh standing next to her. He looked normal but chubbier. He looked at her with wide eyes. "What?" She asked. He took a piece of shattered glass and showed her, her reflection. She had her hair in pig tails and as wearing a pink dress. She looked shocked. "WHAT?!" She looked up at the table.

"Damn cakes!" She moaned. "Now we're both six year olds!" Josh complained. The sighed and walked out of the room. "Louise.." Something said in a creepy voice. She stiffened. "no.." "Looouuuissee!" She began shaking. "NO!" She turned around to come face to face with her biggest nightmare. "Glogen" She whispered. Josh was confused until he turned around to see a man. He had half his face burnt and the other half like a clown. He had a sickly sweet smile plastered on his face. "Louise. Remember me?" Said girl turned and ran through the TARDIS Josh following her. "LOUISE WAIT!"

She ran all around until she came to a corridor with a long hole in the floor. She was about to fall was Josh grabbed her hand. "Louise!" She lifted her other hand up and he pulled her back into the surface. "What happened to the anti-grav?" Louise didn't answer she was too busy shaking in fear. Glogen's voice was swirling around her head. "Louise!" Josh was shaking her. "Louise!" She finally looked at him. She had tears in her big eyes. "Don't worry." They could here footsteps coming down the hall. "I'll protect you until the doctor comes." He took her hand and moved them around the hole. Glogen ran for them but fell in the hole.

Louise and Josh walked back to the hole looked in it. "See. It fine now." Louise began wailing and clung onto her best friend. He patted her head in comfort. They didn't notice that Glogen had climbed out of the hole. He grabbed Josh by the neck and lifted him off the ground. "NO!" Louise screamed. "HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed deeply. Louise began kicking his legs but he wouldn't let go. Glogen began walking backwards until he fell over the ledge still holding Josh. "NO" Louise fell to her knee's on the edge and sobbed. "No. No more." She stood firmly and blinked away her tears.

She walked over to a small closet and found some rope. She tied it on the ledge and around her body. She looked down the hole and gulped in fear. "Don't be afraid." She whispered. She then stepped over the edge and fell. She felt the wind rushing against her skin. Doctor... Doctor... please save me! Please! She slowly opened her eyes to see that she had landed. She looked up and saw a dark hole above her head. To her right she saw Josh. She quickly scrambled over and felt his pulse. She sighed with relief then pulled the rope to her. It had been cut.

"Not very smart since the last time we met huh?" He asked. "What are you doing here?" He laughed as if it were obvious. "Escaping. Where else was your precious doctor gonna put me? Anywhere else I could've just come back but here. Not escape. So unless you want your friend here to die. You'll help me." She looked at Josh. "Ok." Suddenly a hand grabbed her arm. "Don't." Josh coughed. "We can't let him escape." Glogen pressed a button on a small remote in his hand causing an electric shock to go through Josh. He tried to keep his pain hidden. "But..." Josh looked at her. She nodded. She looked at him and he was about to press the button again. She read the writing deadly voltage. Her eyes widened and everything became a blur.

She screeched. A screech so loud it could be heard by the doctor who was who knows where. Glogen and Josh covered their ears. She screeched louder as golden light poured out of her it reached out to Glogen. "Wha- No no NO! NOOOOO!" It slowly encased him until he disappeared. Louise fell to her knees then landed on her side. Josh managed to get the neck brace off and crawled over to Louise. He gently picked up and brought her to the control room. He began pulling levers etc... trying to find the doctor. He can across a part of the console that had a crack in it. It had golden light energy flowing from it and his curiosity got the best of him. He touched it and began to glow just as Louise had.

The TARDIS began to materialise as well as the doctor, Aaron and Daniel. As soon as everyone was there. The doctor gave Josh and Louise a drink that made them their normal ages again. Whilst Louise was still unconscious Josh explained everything to the doctor. But what they did not see was a glowing dark figure slip out of the TARDIS doors. "Who's Glogen?" Daniel asked. "He's a alien that feed's of fear. That's how I first met Louise. He was haunting her dreams. Poor girl hadn't slept in weeks. Welp its good he's gone forever now." Everyone nodded. The doctor kissed Louise on the forehead and left her room.

"I'm sorry Louise, Josh everyone this is the lead up to a fixed point in time that can never be changed..."
