Chapter 14: The runaway bride part 2
The doctor was extinguishing the TARDIS as Donna sat on the roof edge. Daniel, Aaron and Josh were looking at the view whilst Louise was clinging onto the TARDIS for dear life. The doctor sat down next to Donna. "For space ship it doesn't do much flying." He huffed. Donna just shivered. The doctor pulled off his coat draped it on her shoulders. "Well ain't you skinny. You are." The doctor rolled his eyes. "So who's the lucky fella?" "Lance. Met him on my first day. I work as a temp at H.C. Clements he brought me some coffee. Everyday we had a coffee. Anyway soon enough he began begging me to marry him. I kept saying no and no and no. Until finally I gave up and said yes." Josh walked up to them. "Are you sure it wasn't the other way around?" Donna hit him on the head.
The doctor began scanning her. "I don't get it you're not important. Human. Nothing remotely interesting." "Well don't you know how to flatter a girl? Stop bleeping me!" The doctor gave her a bio damper ring to protect looked at her watch and huffed. "Weddings over by now." "You could always re-book it." She nodded. "Doctor!" He looked up to see the boy's trying to get Louise to let go of the TARDIS. He chuckled and headed over. Donna saw them arguing then when the doctor touched Louise she automatically jumped into his arms. She smiled. "Bit old for you love.." She whispered. She got up and headed over. "She doesn't like heights." The doctor explained."Say what if we said that this here 'space ship' could travel in time?" Josh said. "I'd say your having a laugh." Everyone looked at her seriously.
Everyone walked into the hall together. They saw everyone dancing and having a good time. "You had the reception without me?!" Donna boomed. Everyone turned to her in shock. He mother came over and began to nag her. Suddenly the fiery woman began to cry and encased herself in who everyone presumed was Lance's arms. He turned her around and she winked at everyone. Louise giggled. The party went into full swing and everyone was having a great time. The doctor borrowed a mans phone and looked up H.C. Clements if you looked close enough you saw the name torchwood.
As a slow song came on couples littered the dance floor. The boy's ran outside to do whatever and Louise went to get some lemonade form the bar. "Having fun?" The doctor asked. She nodded. "Yeah and you should be having fun too." She took a sip of her drink then grabbed his hand. "Come on." She brought him over to the dance floor and they began to dance. It was awkward since she couldn't slow dance and he was way too tall. He lifted her up and put her on his toes. He remembered she used to dance like this with her grandfather. She smiled and lay her head on his chest.
A few hours later...
"But Lance. I loved you!" The man laughed. The doctor grabbed the small cylinder and twisted it causing the TARDIS to come to them. Donna sat down on the jump seat and everyone tried to comfort her. "Back off. This is for ladies only!" Louise barked they all nodded and walked off. "Hey. Donna. He was a prick. You could and still can do so much better. Never mind what that twig over there said!" "HEY!" "You're Donna Noble and you can anything." Donna nodded and smiled Louise hugged her and they moved to the doors where the others were.
Half an hour later...
Donna and Lance were hanging over a hole by the empress Racnosses web. Louise was at the bottom near the hold haven been beaten by the robots. Lance was soon fed to the babies and the Doctor brought Donna down to the ground. She picked up Louise and brought her to the boy's. The doctor began flooding the place. "How dare you hurt her!" He had such fire in his eyes. "The oncoming storm." Louise said quietly. She stood slowly and looked up at him when he wouldn't listen to Donna. "Doctor! Doctor Please! Stop!" He looked down at her. His eyes shifted and he threw the remote and ran.
Everybody ran up to him and they ran together. Since Louise was tired. He carried her and they all made it safely. When they dropped off Donna the Doctor gave her snow and the children of time set off again. Inside the TARDIS they had their own Christmas. They may not be blood related but they still are a family.
Done! My head hurts goodbye!
