Author: Thanks for all the ideas:). I think I finally got enough ideas to finish up this arc :)
Ikuto: Finally.
(The next morning)
Amu's friends decided that they wanted to go out to eat for breakfast. They tried encouraging Amu to come as well, but she would not come out of her room. They were worried, but decided that she needed a bit more time alone.
Ikuto stayed behind too, because he wanted to try to get Amu to hear him out.
Ikuto paced back and forth by the door of her room, unsure on how to get her attention. Try knocking on the door more? No, he's tried that more than enough.
He started absently at the door knob, his mind whirling. Maybe, if I could get in the room somehow, she would hear me out.
Then, he noticed a tiny pin sized hole on the door knob.
That's it! If I can find a pin, I can open the door!
Ikuto sprinted to the kitchen, and swept his glance across the granite counter tops, seeing if there was anything he could use.
There, at the edge of the counter, he saw a tiny clothes pin. Ikuto grabbed it, and ran back to Amu's room.
(Amu's Point Of View)
It had been quiet for the last hour, and I was quite surprised. I expected Ikuto to be pounding on the door all morning. Instead, the morning had been eerily silent.
I took the time to stare absently off the balcony and out to the crystal blue ocean.
You wouldn't say I was enjoying the solitude. All the free time gave me time to think. Think about things that I was trying to avoid for the last day.
I felt hollow, and honestly, I wasn't even sure how I felt. Angry? Upset? Depressed? Maybe all three.
Minutes later, I heard a faint, distant click. My senses became alert, and I spun around.
Ikuto stood by my door, a small pin in his hand. He set the pin on the end table, and stared at me, without moving, without talking. His gaze held mine.
Slowly, he started to move closer. It was almost as if he was trying to approach a frightened animal. If he was too sharp with his movements, the animal would flee.
I frantically looked around for a way of escape. The only way I could see was to jump off the balcony, which probably would not end well.
Ikuto closed in towards me, and I looked down at him, with expressionless eyes. There is nothing to say that changed what he did.
He got on his knees, and I couldn't help but gawk. Going to this extent for a girl he doesn't give a shit about?
However, when he looked up at me, his deep ocean blue eyes conveying true angst, I knew I had to at least listen.
"I'm going to explain my story all the way." Ikuto stated simply, though I could tell he was having a hard time keeping himself together.
"The day we were at the beach, when the guys started to flirt with you, well, lets just say I got a little jealous. So I went behind the concession stands in that alley for a bit to clear my head. When I was back there, that girl threw herself on me, and of course, that happened to be the time that you were walking by."
I wasn't sure if I was going to believe him yet, but I waited to see what else he had to say.
Suddenly, Ikuto pulled a small, white box from his pocket, and my eyes widened. Is that what I think it is?
While still on his knees, Ikuto opened the box, and inside,, was a tiny ring, with three shimmering gems on it. They gems were woven in the ring with silver surrounding it. On either side of the ring, in tiny letters, the names Amu and Ikuto were engraved next to each other.
"Amu, though we've only started dating, someday, would you marry me?" He looked up at me, his eyes telling me the whole story.
Without even realizing it, I began to cry, and when Ikuto noticed this, he started to freak out. "Amu? Whats wrong? I'm so sorry." He pulled me in for a hug.
"I'm not upset, I'm just happy." I nuzzled my head into his chest. "And my answer... Yes."
All of a sudden, I was being lifted into the air. "I- Ikuto? What are you doing?"
Ikuto began to twirl me around in the air, and I couldn't help but giggle.
Eventually, he set me down, and stared deeply into my eyes, before closing in for the kiss.
It started out as an innocent kiss, but began to transform into a sensual one, as he pushed me up against the marble balcony, and wrapped his hands around my waist.
He grabbed my ass, which was a real surprise, and I ended up squealing, and I heard Ikuto laugh a bit.
Then he started to massage it, which was real awkward, and I couldn't stop blushing.
Just then, an idea popped into my head to get him to blush, and I grinned.
"Oh Ikuto." I cried in the most dramatic voice I couold manage, and I pushed my chest against him.
That moment was priceless. When he felt my chest squish on his, his face turned deep red.
But, I wasn't stopping yet.
With my chest still against him, I pushed him towards the bed.
I easily forced him onto the bed, me on top.
As I was about to proceed to my next move, Ikuto slapped my ass.
"Ah!" I feel over, and my chest fell right on his face.
Just my luck.
"Can't. Breathe."
I got off of Ikuto, my face soon becoming tinted with red.
Soon, both of us were cracking up. What the hell was that?
After we had stopped laughing, Ikuto whispered into my ear, "Just so you know Amu, we will be going much farther than that."
"WHAT!"
Author: That's the end of season three :). There will be only one more season, and then the story is finished. I thought I had enough ideas to finish the story, but I need some more. Please leave any ideas you have for the final season in a review or message :).
