Author: I'm back and ready to start the final season, thanks for all the responses on the preview, it made me really happy that you guys want me to continue :).

Amu stared at her surroundings in awe. Could this many people even fit in one small area?

Only a few days ago, she and her friends came back from their vacation, and for the weekend, they decided to head to the amusement park.

"Oooh, Lets ride that one over there!" Exclaimed an excited Utau. Behind her, Kukai smiled softly, happy to see that she was in a good mood.

Amu looked over to where Utau was pointing. A large roller coaster with many loops and turns was there. She could hear people screaming from here, and her stomach tightened a bit at the thought of riding it.

Ikuto, who was standing beside Amu, nudged her in the shoulder, with a slight smirk forming on his face. "Doesn't that seem fun, Amu?"

"Yeah! Ah ha ha ha..." She tried to smile, but the expression ended up looking too forced.

He leaned forward, and whispered into her ear, "Amu-koi, don't tell me you're afraid of roller coasters."

"Of course not! Ah ha ha ha..."

Ikuto shook his head, still smirking. "Whatever you say."

As the group started to head towards that roller coaster, Amu began to freak out. "Wait guys! How about..." She frantically sweeps her eyes across the vast amusement park, trying to find a simple ride. "The merry go round?"

She mentally slapped herself when she said this. The merry go round was filled with small children right now, and she was sure that none of them would want to.

All of their eyes seemed doubtful, and Amu desperately looked over to Ikuto. He seemed to know what she wanted, and he raised his eyes slightly, before nodding. "The merry go round sounds good."

Yoru suddenly broke out in laughter. "You? Riding the merry go round?"

"Yeah. The merry go round." Ikuto replied simply.

"You would actually ride that? Yeah right!"

"Fine then! Watch me." He strode off towards the merry go round, and got in line.

It didn't take him long to get on the ride. He sat on a pink pony on the front.

Yoru took out his phone, grinning. "Smile for the camera!" He called.

Ikuto tried to cover his face, but Yoru had already taken three pictures.

"Hey." Amu said to Yoru, a mischievous smile on her face. "Could you send that pic to me? I'm going to change it to my home screen picture." She said it loudly enough for Ikuto to hear, and he began to yell at him not to.

"Too late!" Yoru laughed, and pressed the send button on his phone.

"Nooooooo!"

Minutes later, Ikuto returned. He was in a bad mood now, and Amu wasn't sure if she should talk to him or not.

"Okay guys! Lets ride that roller coaster now!" Utau chirped, her eyes sparkling.

Amu gave in. They were going to end up riding it sometime, since Utau wanted to so badly.

They headed over to the coaster, and lucky for them, the line was small.

Within five minutes, they were in their seats, ready to go.

The seats were hard plastic, and Amu thought that during the ride she would be banging her head on the seat over and over again.

Great. She thought. Just great.

Amu and Ikuto sat next to each other, Kukai and Utau behind them, Yoru and Miki behind them and so on.

The coaster began to rumble, indicating it was starting. Amu started to tremble. She tried not to, but her body continued to do so, even when she attempted to constrict her muscles.

Ikuto, who noticed her shaking, placed a comforting hand on her leg. "It'll be fine." He stated, and Amu nodded, though not totally sure.

It began to accelerate forward, and she could feel the gears of the ride grinding beneath her, as well as the screeching of the metal.

These noises only made her more nervous. What if the ride breaks down!

The ride started to speed up faster now, and she felt like her stomach was going to explode.

However, the worst part is when the coaster would escalate to a slope, sit at the top for a few moments. Amu would relax for a moment, before the coasted swooped down the track.

By now, everything was a blur to her. The screaming of other people on the ride seemed to fade away, and she felt her conscious slipping.

Ikuto was having a blast. His heart would skip a beat when they turned the sharp corners, and adrenaline pumped through his veins.

Suddenly, he thought of Amu. In the last minute, he hadn't heard her scream, which was unusual for her on a coaster.

He looked to her. She was sitting completely still, the emotions in her golden eyes seeming far off.

Ikuto began to shake her. "Amu! Are you alright?"

She looked up to him, and managed a weak, "Yeah."

He could only wrap his arms around her and wait for the ride to end.

Minutes later, the coaster halted to a stop, rails screaming as metal of the ride scraped against them.

The seat belts lifted, and the other jumped right out as if it was no big deal. Amu's mind was in a jumble, and she could barely keep her thoughts straight, and keep herself from falling over.

Ikuto tried to help her off, but she brushed him off, not wanting to seem as a weakling.

About 10 minutes later...

After buying hotdogs from a concession stand and eating quickly, the sun had already began to set.

"I think we should head back." Stated Kiseki.

"But we've only ridden to rides!" Utau complained, with a pouting look now on her face.

Kukai put his arm around her shoulder. She blushed a bit, but didn't stop him. "How about we go on the Ferris wheel quick before leaving?"

The group agreed, and soon, they were in line for the Ferris Wheel.

Fortunately most people had already gone home, and only a few people were in line.

Within five minutes, they're were all in their seats.

They sat in the same pairs as on the roller coaster. Ikuto and Amu, Utau and Kukai, and so on.

The wheel softly began to to spin in slow, smooth circles. Amu sighed in content, staring out into the sunset.

It stopped moving at the top, probably to let more people on.

The sunset was spread across the horizon, a blend of orange, red, and an unusual violet.

Ikuto tapped her on the shoulder. "So, did you have fun today?"

Amu looked over to him, and eagerly nodded. "Well, as long as you don't count the coaster. The best part was when you were on the marry go round... Heheh."

He rolled his eyes, though his brow twitched in slight annoyance that Amu had that picture.

She went back to staring at the sunlight, and Ikuto took this time to admire the beauty and perfection.

He leaned forward, and planted a small kiss on her cheek.

"Gah!" She spun around quickly, making the seat rock back and forth.

"Easy there." He joked. "I was just admiring the beauty."

"What does kissing me have to do with the sunset?"

"I'm not talking about the sunset. It's a mere lightning bulb compared to you, the fiery yet beautiful sun."

Amu thought that was the corniest line ever, but she couldn't help but smile like a fool, blushing.

They continued to stare into each others eyes, and Ikuto went in for the kiss. Just as their lips were about to touch, a loud clang of metal sent Amu jerking back.

"What was that." She looked down, seeing if anything had come loose, and she was right.

One of the seats had fallen off! The arm connecting to that seat was loose. She noticed that many arms of the wheel were also loose. Amu looked farther down, and she saw three crumpled bodies of children laying on the concrete, bathed in a pool of blood.

She gaped, and began to curse. Couldn't they just have a normal day!

Her eyes widened as yet another arm fell off. Luckily it was an arm low to the ground.

A man below shouted, "We have help coming! Stay still!"

Ikuto said, "Stay near the ends, If it falls off, get on the rails."

Minutes passed off not moving. They didn't dare move. Amu could see the arm of the wheel that connected to their seats. It looked loose. Very loose.

Suddenly, the arm connecting to their seat collapsed. She and Ikuto began to fall, but she managed to grab onto a rail.

She felt him grab onto her hand, and she felt her weight begin to drop, and her fingers began to slip.

Yet she continued to struggle, attempting to pull herself up, though it was useless with having Ikuto holding onto her other hand.

"Just drop me, Amu." He said simply, his voice cracking at the end a little. "Save yourself."

"NO! I just have to get up."

She looked down at Ikuto, and he smiled up at her, before letting go.

"IKUTO!"

It all happened to fast. She heard his body slam against the metal repeatedly, and she watched him fall, unable to do anything.

Tears fell, and she couldn't stop them.

THAT IDIOT!

She quickly pulled herself up, and peered down below, looking for a glimpse of his body.

When she couldn't find him anywhere on the wheel, her tears began to fall at an even more rapid pace.

"So this is it?" She murmured to herself between sobs. "This is how it ends?"

"Amu!"

His voice.

"I must be imagining things." She muttered. "Of course."

But Amu couldn't help but look down, and there, was Ikuto. He was standing along rail near the bottom. He was covered in blood, but it didn't seem to be life threatening.

"Thank god." She whispered, holding her heart, and began to wonder what she would do without him.

Only minutes later, the police arrived. They managed to get everyone off safely. No one was killed, though the three children who fell were vitally injured, but will survive.

On the way home in the car, Amu suddenly clung to Ikuto, crying silently. He cried a bit too. Who wouldn't, after such a day?

"I thought I lost you." She whispered.

Ikuto kissed her forehead. "I'll be around for a long time."
