I remembered those times when forming a vigilante group was just a dream, a dream I fulfilled later on in my life with the help of my best friends, close and some several new friends. We protected the town we were stationed in and helped them with all that we can.

But not one of them knew why I protected that dear town so. Some say I grew up there so it's understandable while others just say that I'm naive and foolish for being so innocent. They may be right to an extent. I'm proud of being a citizen of the southern part of Italy.

We met one rainy day in an empty alley. It was nearly dark and I was about to eat when something splashed in the mud before my makeshift shelter, it was a woman with many wounds surrounding the parts of her body that can be seen. She looked at me with her beautiful brown eyes, face contorted in pain then finally she collapsed back to the muddy water.

I didn't budge for a while, still in shock for what happened. We were like that, one sitting on a shaded area and the other lying on the floor in the rain, until I got the courage to stand up and tried to drag the mysterious woman into my abode.

I only ate a quarter of the bread and placed it beside the lady. She'll need something to eat when she wakes up.

The lady had long brown hair, maybe waist length... She was wearing a dark green dress that reached her knees with brown boots and... is that an apron?... She must have been a housewife.

I just sat there feeling sleepy and cold, she took up all the space and I had wrapped my blanket around her. I was beginning to nod off when she shifted... and went back to sleep. False alarm. With that I fell asleep and dreamt of a world far away where I was looking at a man with chocolate brown hair and frantic green eyes shouting for someone named 'Lovi'... What a weird dream...

I woke up to the busy street beside the alley, I remembered what happened the night before and turned my head only to see the lady still passed out.

I waited for a long time but my stomach couldn't take it any longer so I went out to look for food. I should 'forage' more food for the both of us. Good thing there's a kind old woman that lives in the corner of the street she always gave me delicious home made cookies.

I think she would be safe here.

"I'll be back," I whispered softly to the room. And with that, I left an unknown person in my home.
