Diary entry for Tuesday
Hello, it is me again, Reyna. I have no idea why I am still writing in this stupid book...oh well I guess.
Yesterday we moved into our dorms. It was really hard pushing my luggage up the stairs. Hylla told me that I would have trouble but it's not like I ever said she was right about that.
Okay maybe she was, but I don't want to talk about her. I have just moved into a place and I am free of my annoying sister, I think I should have the peace I deserve. But I guess that's pretty hard when a few doors down, Thalia Grace is playing really loud music...
Speaking of which, said girl went crazy the moment we opened the door and ran in to get first dibs on rooms. She and Annabeth will be sharing the room at the far end of the hall while Katie and Rachel will be in the next, then Piper and Silena, Hazel and I.
Piper almost died on the spot when Silena decorated the room with posters of certain singers/bands. Other than that they seem to be getting along fine...though Piper did manage to convince her to put down the posters.
Hazel and I both agreed that we should buy purple things to decorate our room. Rachel and Katie-I have no idea what they do in there. I think their whole room is just full of posters for books and movies. Rachel actually dragged a little TV for both of them to watch stuff, much to our despair.
Annabeth has her own half of a room while Thalia has the other. One side is neat and in perfect order while the other is messy and...not in order. I can still hear Thalia's music being played, I wonder how Annabeth copes.
Oh wait, she doesn't. I just saw her walk into Rachel and Katie's room with ear mufflers on.
We have a small-ish kitchen and a lounge and dining room. Mind you they're all small, but we can JUST fit in.
There is only one toilet...
Anyways, we-or rather Annabeth-have made a roster for all of us and apparently I am on kitchen duty tonight...I do not really know how to cook so that's a little bit of a downer. Oh well, its Annabeth's fault for making me chef for the night.
The boys don't come over that much, thankfully. Beckendorf came over once to help Silena unpack things. Sometimes I wish I had a boyfriend to do those types of things, but then I recall their stupidity and no longer miss the desire of being in a relationship. Not trying to be mean to males, but I find that it is true.
I mean I once had a crush on this guy...but that was in kindergarten and I still know him so it's kind of weird now. I remember telling Hylla and she told me that I should never be with a boy.
Well I am definitely not interested in a relationship anyways so she doesn't have to worry about me. Not that she does worry...ugh she always finds herself into a topic doesn't she?
My dad said I should keep all my memories in this 'journal' so I can look back on it and laugh at myself.
Well if he is inquiring the fact that I will be laughing over myself because I am stupid right now I don't think I like this idea at all. I'm going to toss this out anyways after I finish writing in this.
In my defence, I am keeping this for now because
1. This book has a lot of nice pages that I might rip out to use for study notes and
2. it's really useful when you put it under the leg of my study desk to stop it from wobbling.
I apologise, I am a very boring person. I have nothing much to say right now. I think I should start cooking some food or else we will have to order some pizza from that crappy place.
Actually we might as well order something from there.

The dorms were located near the school. They were two twin buildings and each gender were placed in the appropriate side for...complicated reasons. On one side was the boy building. It was looking pretty good for its second night, considering the fact that the boys always managed to make it look rowdy and out of control. There was nothing out of order...yet.
On the other side was the girl building, decorated with flowers near the entrance of the place. People should usually note that girls are more sensible than boys...well that's only what people assume.
The building itself was completely fine- the voices that were coming from it where rather disruptive...
Hazel looked up at the ceiling with wide eyes and two hands covering her ears. She was really hoping to get some rest after eating dinner, but certain people were refusing to let her do so. The singing coming from the room next door was very loud.
"SO WHAT? I'M STILL A ROCKSTAR!-"
It didn't help that the others were shouting in response to the racket.
"OH MY GOD SHUT UP!"
"I CAN'T HEAR MYSELF THINK!"
"AGHHH MY EARS!"
Hazel groaned and buried herself into her pillow. From the other side of the room, Reyna got her iPod and got her earphones to try and block out the sound. Hazel wished she could do the same, she wished she just had a button to put all the voices on mute. She also wanted to rewind back to the day she agreed to be in this dorm.
A few cries were heard. "SINGING WILL NEVER BE ONE OF YOUR TALENTS!"
"AW SHUT UP"
"BE QUIET GUYS!"
"WHY ARE WE ALL SHOUTNG?!"
"MY EARS ARE GOING TO BURST, PLEASE EVERYBODY!"
"SHUT IT, WE'RE TRYING TO WATCH A MOVIE HERE!"
"Oooh can I watch too?"
"NO!"
And then the loudest shout was heard from the place.
"SHUSH EVERYBODY OR ELSE I'LL DRESS YOU ALL UP IN PINK AND I KNOW HOW MUCH YOU HATE THAT! AND THEN I'LL REPLACE ALL YOUR WARDROBE WITH SPARKLY CLOTHES AND YOU WILL BE FORCED TO WEAR IT FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR AND YOU'LL DIE AND NOW WE ALL NEED TO SLEEP SO BE QUIET!"
...Oh. I see the girl's building is suddenly quiet again. Hazel let out a relieved sigh and snuggled up with her blanket, enjoying the peace and quiet...for now.
In the room opposite, Piper snickered at Silena. "You're very evil."
Said girl only looked up with big innocent blue eyes at her "What do you mean?"
"I should so use that as a threat against the others too," Piper went on as she got up from reading her book, dressed up in 'Tweetie' pajamas. She flicked her braid over her shoulder and looked at her roommate.
"I wouldn't be laughing if I were you," Silena said hinting a small smile. "You hate pink too."
Piper looked up at her. "But I thought I was your friend!"
Silena poked her tongue out and Piper chuckled. "I'm going to go brush my teeth,"
Silena nodded and jumped into her bed. So warm, so cosy...
After adjusting herself into a comfortable position, she fished her phone out of the drawer beside her. Searching for her...ah hah!-her phone. She switched it on and leaned back on her bed.
She went over to the Facebook app and the site appeared before her. On her profile was a picture of her boyfriend 'Charlie'. They had taken it when they were at the beach together and he had been teaching her how to surf. It was an unforgettable day and looking at the picture always brought a smile to her face.
Best. Boyfriend. Ever.
She smiled again and scrolled down her homepage. Pictures and comments appeared everywhere. And-woah...

She was about to post it when she reread it to make sure that she hadn't written anything weird. Seriously, once she had updated her profile to write cheerleader, and that stupid autocorrect 'fixed' it for her and wrote that she was a cheese. So embarrassing. She only found out when Lacy had pointed it to her at school the next day.
So...everything seemed fine. Just some friendly comment to them all and-
