"Dark vs. Light: Girl Fight"
I might not update soon enough because I start college tomorrow and I have to be up at 5:00 to get ready. Please enjoy and review!
After Kari, TK and I pressed the sand up into a mound and added some stones for decoration; the three of us and our digimon kneeled down in front of it and held our hands in prayer form.
"Thank you, Numemon. We'll never forget you. You'll always be in our hearts and our memories." Kari said.
"I'm sorry we couldn't save you, but thank you for protecting us. You were all very brave." I said.
"And don't worry. We'll make sure that you get reborn in Primary Village." TK assured.
Kaitoumon then stood up making us turn to him as he cleared his throat.
For some reason, he hadn't reverted back to Nekomon which made me happy that he had his power back and would be able to protect himself and wouldn't be upset over this running from danger thing anymore.
He also changed his look up by ditching the leather coat and just had on a black long sleeved shirt and he seemed healthier than he was before.
"Let's go catch up to the others." He said.
We all stood up and walked over to where Tai, Izzy, Sora, Biyomon, Agumon, Tentomon and Andromon were up on the hill.
Andromon was sitting down as he had a black cord attached to him and the other end was plugged into Izzy's laptop.
"That's it. We're ready." He said.
"That's great Izzy, but ready for what?" Tai asked.
"Hang on a second and you'll see. OK Andromon, show us your stuff." Izzy requested.
"Engage heat deduction." Andromon said.
He then kneeled and placed his hands on the ground as we watched him curiously as to what our genius friend had come up with.
"I don't get what's happening." Tai spoke up for a few seconds.
"It's really rather simple. Andromon requires geothermal energy from the ground." Izzy said.
On the screen it showed a black image of what looked to be Spiral Mountain with some sort of square object that could be where Piedmon was on top of it.
"Way cool." Koromon said.
"Hey, that's Spiral Mountain isn't it?" Biyomon asked.
"This is like having our own portable microwave." Tentomon commented.
"There, look. That's where we are right now. Right on top." Izzy pointed out the red flashing dot on top of the mountain.
This confused all of us.
"What?" V-Mon blinked.
"That doesn't make sense. How did we get there?" Tai asked.
"I'm sure glad I can't see down. I don't like high places." Kari said.
"It's like Chumon said. The most powerful Dark Master is way on top of Spiral Mountain." TK said.
"See? I told you we were close." Sora looked over to Tai who was staring at something in the distance.
"We'll give you medal latter." Tai said.
"Intruder warning. Interloper detected." Andromon then spoke.
Evil laughter that sounded like a woman with a deep voice made us tense up as a woman dressed in torn black leather floated up from the cliff we were on, her eyes glowed red.
Wow, I think this is the first evil female digimon we've ever met, all the rest have been guys.
"You pile of recycled scrap metal. You spoiled my entrance." She sneered.
"I think the entrance still worked." V-Mon shrugged.
"We should've known there'd be a welcoming committee." Sora clenched her fist at the digimon.
"She looks like a witch." Kari glared.
"She's worst. She's one of Piedmon's nightmare soldiers." Andromon said.
Looking at the large clawed hand with the bat marking and red tipped claws, I couldn't help but wonder why it looked so familiar.
"No hellos? Well, I'm sure you're tired you poor things. Perhaps you need a rest. A nice long rest." She hissed and raised her claws.
"Oh, yeah?" Koromon asked as he jumped up at her.
"Koromon!" Tai called.
"Koromon digivolve to…AGUMON!"
Agumon used his Pepper Breath on her, but it did no harm as she just floated in the air with that same smug grin on her face.
She then swiped at Agumon, making him cry out as he fell back.
"Agumon!" Tai cried as he ran over to where he landed.
"Patamon digivolve to…ANGEMON!"
"Biyomon digivolve to…BIRDRAMON!"
"Tentomon digivolve to…KABUTERIMON!"
"Gatomon digivolve to…ANGEWOMON!"
"V-Mon digivolve to…XV-MON!"
The five Champions and one Ultimate flew up around the evil digimon who just laughed at them.
"You just made my job a lot easier. Darkness Wave!" she yelled.
Spinning around, she sent out a wave of bats and violet mist at the digimon, all crying out at the attack as Andromon fired off his Lightning Blade at the woman who hit it away.
Kabuterimon and Birdramon shook off the attack and then fired off their own attacks at the mysterious digimon who was obviously a Virus type, maybe Ultimate level with how she could only use her hands to bat away the attacks.
"I'm sorry, are we just pretending? Let me know when you're ready." She mocked.
Angemon used his Hand of Fate, but she dodged it as Kaitoumon used his Shadow Ball that was a large black orb of energy that I never saw before as XV-Mon used his X Laser, but the Virus digimon flew up to avoid the attacks.
Angewomon managed to strike her arm with Celestial Arrow which made the evil digimon grit her teeth in anger.
The woman then shot off at the angel and back handed her away which made Kari and I gasp at this.
"It's my turn." Agumon said as he went to go help, but was stopped by Tai holding his hand up.
"No, wait. We'll keep you on reserve." He said.
"Make me warp digivolve and I'll take care of this black and white nightmare." Agumon pleaded.
"Izzy, what's your digivolve analyzer say about her?" Tai ingnored him and looked over to the redhead.
"Let's see. LadyDevimon. Programed to be the Ultimate, fully digivolved fighting soldier, she serves as gate keeper and body guard to the last Dark Master." Izzy read from his laptop.
"Lady…Devimon?" I asked in disbelief.
That explains why the claws are so familiar; they look a lot like Devimon's.
I guess if there's a female version of Angemon then there would be a female version of Devimon since they are exact opposites of each other.
"Seriously nasty. We've got to do this right; Sora, you and TK take Angemon and Birdramon. Find Matt and bring him back." Tai ordered.
"What? You want us to leave right in the middle of a fight?" Sora asked.
LadyDevimon just slapped Kabuterimon as Kaitoumon snuck up behind her to land a blow, but she turned and kicked him in the jaw.
"Go. We'll manage from here. We have no choice and if worse comes to worst, we always have our trump card. WarGreymon and UlforceVeedramon." Tai smiled down at Agumon, then over at me as the dino and I smiled back.
"Ooh, I'm a trump card, huh?" Agumon mused.
"The time has come to stop acting like a bunch of children. We're facing the last of the Dark Masters." Tai frowned as he grew serious.
"Piedmon." Izzy said.
"Right. We don't know where he'll strike or when, but it'll be somewhere close by…and soon. And he's strong, real strong. It won't be just another fight. This one's for keeps. We've got to be ready for him." Tai explained.
"So that's why you want us to go. To find my brother and bring him back before Piedmon showed up." TK realized.
"Yeah, Tai's looking at the big picture. It's not about this fight, but the next one, you see." Izzy grinned.
"Sorta." Sora said.
"Bases loaded two out and we need a slam dunk." Tai said.
"I think you're messing up your sports there." I said as Sora looked just as confused as me by what he said.
"All we've been doing is meeting each threat as it comes, but we're barely hanging on. Now we've got to put it all together as a team. That means Matt, Mimi and Joe too. We've let enough digimon sacrifice themselves for us. It's our turn now." Our leader said.
Sora smiled at this seeing how much Tai had actually matured which was a big surprise to me, Kari and everyone else around us, but it made us happy and feel faithful that everything would turn out fine.
"You're right." Sora said.
Angewomon used shot her arrow at LadyDevimon again, but missed as the two angels, one good and the other evil, as they circled each other, LadyDevimon laughing in a taunting way.
"Go Angemon!" Angewomon looked behind her and called out to him.
"Right. Come on, Birdramon." Angemon turned and flew off with the red bird.
Angewomon smiled at them, but was kicked in the back by LadyDevimon which made XV-Mon gasp as the angel slammed into his side.
"Oh, sorry Blondie." LadyDevimon quipped.
Pushing herself off of the dragon, Angewomon turned to the devil and growled in anger with her fist clenched.
"See ya soon, Tai." TK called as Angemon picked him up and too to the sky.
Sora got onto Birdramon and held onto the ankle as the Champion flew off after the male angel.
"Don't worry, we'll find Matt and Mimi and Joe and be back before you know it." the child of Love called down to us.
"And hurry. This is kind of important." Tai waved at them.
"I'll do the best I can." Sora called.
Spinning, LadyDevimon sent out her Darkness Wave yet again as Angewomon held her hands out to block the attack as LadyDevimon slipped away and appeared behind Angewomon upside down.
Taking hold of her hair, the demon started to swing the angel around as the rest of us watched at the typical girl fight move that was being pulled.
"Round and round we go!" LadyDevimon laughed.
"Kabuterimon digivolve to…MEGAKABUTERIMON!"
"Never did like that bleached look." LadyDeimon growled as she spun around and let go off Angewomon, sending her flying as MegaKabuterimon flew up and caught the angel in his hands.
"Got cha." MegaKabuterimon said as Kaitoumon and XV-Mon flew up in front of him to fight off the demon who sneered at them.
"Let me go! Let me at her!" Angewomon yelled.
She pushed herself out of the large bug's hands and then flew off by the dragon and hybrid as they watched her curiously, then gasped when Angewomon slapped LadyDevimon across the face.
"Ooh, slap fest." Kaitoumon said.
Snarling, LadyDevimon slapped Angewomon back right across the face.
"This is…awkward." XV-Mon blinked as Kaitoumon crossed his arms.
They just watched along with the rest of us as the two females kept on slapping them across the face, going into a full out clichéd girl fight like you would see on TV.
"Wow, look at 'em go." Tai sweat dropped.
"I know I shouldn't watch this, but…I can't take my eyes off." Izzy stared right up at them.
"Get her, Angewomon! That's right; knock that witch's black off. Let's go!" Kari yelled as she threw her fists into the air.
"Come on, get her! Go! Come on, Angewomon!" I cheered jumping up and down.
Izzy was staring at us in disbelief, then turned back to the fight nervously.
"I've had enough of this." LadyDevimon growled.
She flew away from the angel and then turned around, kicking Angewomon down, XV-Mon gasping as he flew over and caught her in his arms, puffing his wings out to slow their decent before they crash landed.
"This game is over. You're grounded, Goldie Locks. Darkness Wing!" LadyDevimon then charged at my dragon and Kari's angel as her hand transformed into a large needle.
"XV-Mon digivolve to…V-DRAGOMON!"
V-Dragomon held Angewomon to his chest with one arm, then used his other to pull out his blade and blocked the attack and pushed her back.
"I'm usually not one who condones hitting ladies, but…" he trailed off as he zipped away.
He then reappeared beside LadyDevimon and punched her in the face, sending her back as Angewomon had her arms wrapped V-Dragomon's neck with her lips curved up.
"You're not much of a lady." He commented.
"Yeah, that's my boy!" I cheered as Kari laughed, both of us jumping up and clasping hands.
Growling as she pushed herself off of the ground, LadyDevimon flew at our two angels with her Darkness Wing, but at the last second, MegaKabuterimon flew in the way, the needle breaking against the hard shell.
"Ah, you broke it!" she screeched as she held her hand.
"Aw, send me the bill." MegaKabuterimon mocked.
Angewomon flew out of V-Dragomon's arms making the demon gasp.
"You're right, LadyDevimon. This game is over." Angewomon said as she was covered in a pink light that made LadyDevimon cover her face.
Before the demon could attack again, Angewomon used her Heaven's Charm, vanquishing her and cried out something that I didn't hear well as she exploded into data.
"Yippee!" Kari cheered.
Kaitoumon flew back over to us and landed on his feet as MegaKabuterimon, Angewomon and V-Dragomon flew back over to us, reverting back to their Rookie forms, Kari and I catching our partners, but since V-Mon was bigger than the cat, I wound up falling back on my rear laughing with him.
"How's my back? Can you see anything? I hope it didn't leave a scar." Tentomon whined as he showed off his shell to Izzy who grinned at him in amusement.
"Tai, you see what I see?" Agumon asked.
"It's him." Tai said.
The rest of us gasped as we turned to see Piedmon was walking over to us from that strange looking building.
"It doesn't look good, that's for sure. Piedmon." Tai pulled out his telescope to get a better look at the clown as he walked over to us, still far off thankfully.
"The last of the Dark Masters." Tai said and lowered his telescope.
"The guy's not exactly in a hurry, is he?" Izzy commented.
"Suit up, Agumon. You're on." Tai said.
"It's about time." Agumon said as he ran off.
"Agumon warp digivolve to…WARGREYMON!"
"You still have some energy left?" I asked V-Mon as I stood up with him.
"Enough to beat this joker." V-Mon clenched his fists and then ran off.
As he ran up, my eyes narrowed in worry for him since the last time, he stood up better against Piedmon, but he was still beaten in the end.
"Be safe." I whispered.
"V-Mon warp digivolve to…ULFORCEVEEDRAMON!"
"I'm ready." WarGreymon said as my Royal Knight stepped up beside him.
"Remember, he's strong. We don't even know how strong." Tai reminded.
"No problem. At this rate, I'm only worried about dying of old age." WarGreymon joked.
"No kidding. How slow can a guy yet?" UlforceVeedramon asked.
"That's OK. The longer he draws this out, the better for us. No offence, guys, but you can only hold him off for so long. We're gonna need everybody for this one. TK and Sora. Mimi and our digimon allies. And Matt and good old reliable Joe. I say, let him take his time." Tai said.
"OK, OK, but this waiting gets on my nerves." WatGreymon complained.
That stupid smirk on Piedmon's face gets on my nerves.
