Shin Seiki Gurren Lagann
ESKK: finally got around to doing chapter 2 anyway I hope you Enjoy this chapter because I wish to know that I didn't disappoint.
*Insert Sorairo Days

Repairs on Gurren were complete as now instead of skinny arms and legs Gurrens arms were now more bulky so they wouldn't risk Kamina breaking them a second time. Kamina also requested a pair of shades like his own for Gurren that could also be used as a weapon. Of course Ritsuko said no at first but then Kamina said she probably couldn't do it to begin with serving to anger her and take his challenge.
Lagann was being studied as it seems to only respond to Shinji which would mean there might be secrets that haven't been fully discovered yet.
Shinji and Kamina were enrolled into school to set a good view for the PR but when Kamina was going to protest Misato said that it would be the perfect chance for him to gather more members for Team Gurren which severed to surprisingly shut him up. But of course do to Kamina's age he was enrolled as a fourth year as he already heard rumors about Kamina being crazy. Kamina always replied with his normal catchphrase as he beat up anyone who talked down on him or Shinji.

Misato was at home as it was her day off as she was currently sprawled in bed. It was then that the phone rang as Misato picked it up and was met with Ritsuko.
"Hey Misato I was just calling to check in on you and see how the members of "Team Gurren," were holding up," Ritsuko asked as Misato sighed.
"Well I bought both of them a phone so we could contact them better. Kamina of course took it greedily no doubt is using up minutes or something Shinji on the other hand barely uses it I don't think they have many friends at school," Misato said as Ritsuko could understand.
"Well Shinji is introverted and Kamina well no offense but he's crazy I'm still wondering why he hasn't been committed to a mental hospital yet," Ritsuko said as Misato laughed.
"Actually he's like me and he actually has a lot of energy and besides he always seems to pull a miracle out of his ass half the time," Misato admitted as all the synch tests he's done Kamina was able to get the old Junker like Gurren working and moving like new even though he broke the arms and legs in the first battle.
"Yes well did you find anything on Kamina's background?" Ritsuko asked as Misato nodded.
"It took a little digging but I found out that Kamina saw his own father die by a shooter right in front of his eyes and he threatened Kamina at the time that if he told anyone he would come after him, of course he told anyway but if anything Kamina should have been more like Shinji yet he didn't let it bother him at all," Misato explained as Ritsuko was surprised.
"Well people learn to cope in different ways Kamina must have moved on and is living his father's memory," Ritsuko said over the phone.
"Yeah well I think Kamina is a good kid even if he has a tendency to be a bit eccentric at times," Misato admitted as she knew Kamina was a good kid.
"Well let's hope we have a good streak of wins with our EVA's, and Gurren & Lagann," Ritsuko said making Misato chuckle a little. "What did I say something funny?" the doctor asked as Misato stopped chuckling.
"No it's not that it's just that if you put Gurren and Lagann together you have a catchy name Gurren-Lagann," Misato said as Ritsuko had to admit it was catchy. "Well I got to go get ready for the day," Misato said before hanging up the phone.

In the council room that served as the meeting place for the council of the group known as SEELE Gendo and five other commanders were meeting over the latest development that has happened.
"Gendo you realize the repairs on this Machine Gurren may have been cheaper than the EVA but you made out earlier investment go to waste," the French commander said.
"Yes but it also the Lagann as you stated had the ability to pierce the AT-field like nothing," the German commander said as Gendo nodded.
"Yes I diploid Unit 1 but this wild card named Kamina had proven to be more then he seems as he did not and should not be part of the scenario it seems that he could by some possibility be a variable against the HMI project," Gendo explained as the US commander scoffed.
"He is just a child who does not know where is place should be a fool who believes that his "soul," can pierce the heavens, what rubbish, the only way to ascend to the heavens is the project," the US commander said as the English commander knew one thing.
"Yes but it was someone similar to this boy very nearly made it so out plans would have been foiled," the English commander said as the final commander had enough.
"Enough we shall leave to; boy, be; for now if he poses a threat then he will be eliminated now Gendo we shall discuss your proposition for the budget your presence is no longer needed," Keel said as the four commanders disappeared leaving Keel and Gendo left. "And remember the Project is your top priority for humanity," Keel said as Gendo nodded.
"Yes after all Humanity has no time left," Gendo said as he had a smirk.

Right now we find Shinji and Kamina enjoying their lunch on the roof as Kamina had blabbered to the entire school that they were the pilots for the robots Shinji of course for both EVA and Lagann prior to lunch. As they were eating Kamina failed to notice a boy in a track suit and a boy with glasses walking up to them the first of which had a glare directed to Shinji.
It was then that the boy in the track suit pulled Shinji up by the collar of his shirt and punched him square in the face. But when he did punch him someone punched him.
"What the hell?" the boy asked to see Kamina with his fist still fresh from the punch with a look that promised death upon the boy.
"Just who the hell do you think Shinji is and what gives you the right to come and punch him in the face especially a member of Team Gurren!" Kamina yelled as Toji had a glare.
"Sorry I had to punch him at least one as thanks to him and his lousy piloting my sister got hurt," Toji yelled only to get punched again most likely knocking a tooth out.
"Aniki please," Shinji said as Kamina had other ideas.
"Come on Shinji if you won't fight back I will," Kamina said as Shinji could tell one of Kamina's cliché speeches was coming on.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, listen up and listen good you jock wannabe, when all hope seems dim and there's nothing else people can do not even the members of Team Gurren they summon their final ace in the hole a man who has fighting spirit unlike any other he's the pilot of the mighty mecha Gurren, the mighty leader of Team Gurren comes forth, he's tenacious he's manly he's ME Kamina!" Kamina yelled as he pointed his hand in the sky just when Rei a girl with blue hair, red eyes, and pale skin, appeared.
"Pilot Kamina I must ask you to stop making a fool of yourself as there is an emergency at NERV," Rei said before heading on ahead.
"Well I thought it was pretty cool," the boy with glasses named Kensuke said.
"Hell I have to admit that was pretty cool," Toji said as Shinji and Kamina ran off to help stop the Angel.
(Scene break)
Shinji and Kamina were launched into the city as Shinji was in Unit one but attached to the back of Unit 1 just above the Umbilical cable was Lagann ready to be deployed when Shinji needed too. Shinji felt warm in the EVA yes but he hated the smell of blood.
Kamina of course was in Gurren ready to fight the angel as Gurren was a few feet shorter then EVA unit 1.

"Alright Shinji lets show this Angel the Team Gurren way!" Kamina yelled as Shinji smiled.
(In Unit 1's entry plug)
"Yes Aniki," Shinji said with a smile as he was ready.
(In Central Dogma)
Gendo was monitoring the mission as he saw this Kamina was giving Shinji something he shouldn't have: Courage, which meant that if he didn't fix it soon his scenario would implode in his face. 'I must fix this soon or else I will never be reunited with Yui,' Gendo thought as he saw the operation happen.
(Back at the battlefield)
The Angel was upon them as Kamina made Gurren run at the Angel and punch it square in its double eyed face. When the Angel summoned its two whips Gurren jumped out of the way to avoid getting hit.
(In Gurren)
"Well this guy is making this fight fun!" Kamina yelled as he smirked.
(With EVA unit 1)
Shinji began firing his Pallet Rifle at the Angel as he was using short burst while centering the target.
(In Central Dogma)
"Shinji stop the Angel is using the smoke as cover!" Ritsuko yelled as but it was too late.
(In the battlefield)
The Angel used its tentacle to swing around both Gurren and Unit 1 causing both to land in the mountain.
(In Gurren)
"Damn that hurts I think it's time to switch Lagann," Kamina said as he had a plan.
(In the battlefield)
The Angel could sense it the carrier of Spiral Energy was here and it knew it had to destroy it before it was too late. Shamshel began to convulse before its form began to shift. The leg like appendages began to split apart as the S2 organ replaced them, its tail split in two as it turned into a pair of legs, the angel's head then went forward and formed a chest before a faceless head popped out with a helmet that had a circle on the front.
(With Kamina)
"Wow didn't see that coming," he said as he was surprised.
(With Shinji)
"Aniki what do we do?" Shinji asked his brother figure as he didn't know what to do.
(With Kamina)
"Leave this to me blood brother!" Kamina yelled as he with Gurren charged at the Angel and punched it only to hit an AT-field. "Damn," Kamina cursed as he needed to find a way to win.
(Central Dogma)
Misato saw some civilians next to the EVA's hands as Gurren was fighting the Angel. "Wait, aren't those two from Shinji and Kamina's school?" she asked as Misato knew she had to do something. "Kamina distract the Angel while Shinji you eject the plug and let the two civilians in we'll try again later," Misato ordered as she was soon going to regret that order.
(With Kamina)
"Fuck no a man doesn't run away from anything no matter how bleak the situation is," Kamina yelled just as Shinji ejected the plug and let the two in.
(With Shinji)
Shinji then saw his drill necklace glowing again as he saw Lagann resonating to the drill.
(With Kamina)
"Just who the hell do you think I am you angel reject I'm the leader of Team Gurren and so long as I'm still breathing then you won't be ending humanity on my watch!" Kamina yelled as the Angel charged at Gurren as they both locked arms.
(With Shinji)
"Kamina he's so brave he's willing to risk his life for his beliefs," Shinji said sadly as Lagann was ready for Shinji. "I have to help Aniki I have to be manly!" Shinji yelled as he jumped into Lagann.
Lagann was then launched into the battlefield and it hit the Angel dead on in gut. When Lagann came flying back with a drill sticking out of the bottom Kamina make Gurren grab Lagann
"I won't ever run away I refuse to run away because running away isn't the team Gurren way! JUST WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM!" the shy boy yelled as he knew he was making Kamina proud.
(With Kamina)
"Well put little brother time to bust out the "you know what!" Kamina yelled as he was smirking.
(With Shinji)
"The, you know what? Aniki what are you talking about?" Shinji asked as Kamina smirked.
(Kamina)
"Don't be a dumb ass… WE'RE GOING TO COMBINE!" the self proclaimed leader of Team Gurren yelled catching everyone off guard.
(Central Dogma)
"They're going to combine?" came, the question from everyone but Gendo and Ritsuko.
"Impossible Gurren and Lagann don't have combination capabilities I've checked myself," Ritsuko said as Kamina smirked on the screen.
(With Kamina)
"We won't know until we try!" he yelled before he pushed on the controls.
(Battlefield)
Gurren slammed Lagann into where a head should be by the drill as shrapnel came out causing damage to Gurren. Gurren then turned Lagann forward to make it look proper.
(With Kamina)
"Hah you see that now we got two forms also," Kamina gloated. "What do you think of that ass wipe we're the same as you now," Kamina gloated as everyone was looking at him with twitching eyes.
(With Central Dogma)
Misato's eye was twitching, Ritsuko had face palmed herself, and everyone else was thinking how stupid Kamina was.
That was when the Magi detected an increase in power between Gurren and Lagann. "Major there's been an increase in Gurren and Laganns strength and its coming from Lagann," Maya said as they saw Gurren and Lagann glowing.
(Battlefield)
*Insert to Hell with Gattai
Gurrens arms grew in size as did the legs as the face started to resemble a torso. The shades became more angular as inside the cockpits were different also.
(With Shinji)
"Aniki you were right we're combining," Shinji said as the inside of the cockpit had green lights showing the combination was happening.
(With Kamina)
"I guess I was," Kamina said as he was slightly taken back at how right he was. But this mecha is going to need a new name and I already thought of it," Kamina said as he was smirking.
(Battlefield)
"From now on this mecha will be known as Gurren Lagann!" the leader of team Gurren yelled as Gurren Lagann struck a pose. The angel then attacked but Gurren Lagann uppercut the Angel and sent the helmet flying to which Gurren Lagann caught it. "And to complete this mecha we need one more thing," Kamina yelled before both he and Shinji put the purple helmet on Gurren Laganns head before the circle split revealing a circle that a drill comes out of for Lagann, the helmet also turned red as now the transformation was complete.
The angel knew that Spiral Energy was powering these Lilin and it had to stop it before THEY gets angry. The Angel charged at Gurren Lagann but said mecha quickly produced a drill from its arm and stabbed the Angel in its S2 organ before the drills began spinning and killing the angel.

"Aniki we won!" Shinji yelled in joy as Kamina smirked.
(With Kamina)
"It's to be expected from the manly and awesome members of Team Gurren," Kamina gloated as they now had a new powerful weapon to use against the angels.
(Central Dogma)
Misato smirked as she was going to reprimand them for disobeying orders but she decided to let this slide because Kamina pulled another miracle out of his ass. "Hopefully that idiot won't be the death of me," Misato said as she smiled.
Gendo meanwhile knew one thing. "This does not abide by my original scenario revisions must be made," Gendo said as he looked at the screen.
(Scene break)
Shinji and Kamina were at school again as Kamina was sitting next to Shinji. But in front of them were Toji and Kensuke as Toji was bowing down respectively. "All right if you're sorry then here's how you can make it up," Kamina said as Toji and Kensuke wanted to hear.
"How?" the jock asked as Kensuke had a camera.
"From now on you two are member of team Gurren!" the leader of Team Gurren yelled.
"SWEET," Kensuke yelled as Toji nodded.
"Ok just hope I don't regret this," Toji said as he didn't know what this "Team Gurren," was.
