/THREE DAYS LATER/
/Everyone was sitting at the lunchtable/
"So how did XANA take control of us again?" asked Miranda
"He sent specters in your rooms and they entered your ears and reached your brains" said Jeremie
"Ew" said Aelita
/Chase and Jeremie chuckled/
"So what's on the schedule today?" asked Rebecca
"I don't know, its Saturday" said Ulrich
"Um, maybe we could go check out-" said Chase
/Chase's phone rang, he picked it up and saw the caller ID/
"Its Baseplate" said Chase
"I wonder what he wants?" said Yumi
/Chase answered/
"Hello?" asked Chase
"We're reforming Task Force 141 ghost" said Baseplate
/Chase lost the color in his face/
"Oh merciful Christ" whispered Chase to himself
"We want you and wolf to help find Mason" said Baseplate
"Alright, come pick us up" said Chase
"A Humvee is en route" said Baseplate
"We'll be waiting at the gates" said Chase
/Chase hung up and looked blankly at the table/
"What happened?" asked Odd
"Dylan, you and me are going to find intel on Mason" said Chase
"Today?" asked Dylan
"If you can get out of that pansy ass chair" said Chase with a smile
/Dylan strained while trying to get up/
"Dil?" asked Jennifer
"Dylan?" asked Rebecca
/Dylan got up after a minute, drawing wide eyed stares from the entire cafeteria/
"Oh, my, god" said Ulrich
/Dylan walked a little leaning on the table for support/
"Alright, now can we go kill Mason?" asked Dylan with a grin
"Glad to have you back wolf" said Chase with a grin
/The group got up and started walking to the Kadic gates, Rebecca holding Dylan's hand the entire time/
"So you're sure he won't end up back in that thing? Right?" asked Rebecca
"Its been nine months, so I'm pretty sure he'll be fine" said Chase
/Rebecca squealed with joy as she tightened her grip on Dylan's hand as they all got to the Kadic gates/
"Where's the Humvee?" asked Dylan
/The group saw two black Humvees approach, they parked in front of them and Baseplate got out of one/
"Right here" said Odd
"Ghost, Wolf, good to see you two" said Baseplate
"Can the friendly garbage Baseplate, just fill us in on the way to the airport" said Chase
/Baseplate nodded, and the group all got in two Humvees, Chase got behind the wheel of the second and they both started driving/
"Alright, what's the first objective?" asked Chase
"Reform the 141" said Baseplate
"You got any names?" asked Dylan
"We'll debrief you when we get to the safehouse" said Baseplate
"Which way?" asked Chase
"Just follow the Humvee in front of us" said Baseplate
"Copy" said Chase
/TWO HOURS LATER/
/Chase saw the Humvee in front of his stop in front of an old warehouse/
"Welcome to the HQ" said Baseplate
/Everyone got out of their Humvees and met at the entrance/
"This place is a dump" said William
"Not gonna lie, I had a better HQ in New Delhi" said Chase
"Yeah, but this place has everything we need" said Baseplate
/Everyone walked in to see a big table and several military screens in the main room, along with several gun racks filled with guns/
"Oh, my, god" said Dylan
"I'm in love" said Chase
/Chase and Dylan ran to look at either the table or the gun racks while the group followed behind them/
"So, how will this do ghost?" asked Baseplate
"This'll do" said Chase
"So we're getting the band back together?" asked Dylan
"Yeah, we just got to find out who's alive from the original TF141" said Baseplate
"Uh, what's Task Force 141?" asked Odd
"It was the best clandestine operation group of all time" said Dylan
"Mostly because of us" said Chase
/The group looked at Chase and Dylan like they were crazy/
"Is anything normal in your lives?" asked William
"No" said Chase and Dylan
"I thought so" said William
"So you reform this task force and then you go after Mason?" asked Jeremie
"Yes Belpois" said Baseplate
/Baseplate pressed a few buttons on the table and pictures of people appeared on it, the group stood back as Chase, Dylan, and Baseplate looked at the pictures/
"How about Sergeant Moses?" asked Dylan
"No, ironically he found Jesus" said Baseplate
"Is he a pacifist now?" asked Chase
"About as much as they come" said Baseplate
"Huh, that's something" said Dylan
"Maybe the Usrek twins?" asked Chase
"Both ended up KIA in Kashmir" said Baseplate
"Alright then" said Chase
"How about Dima Petrenko? He still alive?" asked Dylan
"He went quite a few years ago, so he's basically MIA" said Baseplate
"Christ, isn't there anyone left?" asked Chase
"Well, there's one guy I can name right off the bat" said Baseplate
"Who?" asked Chase and Dylan
/Baseplate looked at Chase, Chase groaned/
"Oh come on" said Chase
"He's one of the few original members" said Baseplate
"Isn't there anyone else? Anyone at all?" asked Dylan
"Who are you talking about?" asked Jennifer
/Chase and Dylan looked straight at Ulrich/
"The guy we're talking about is Corporal Heinrich Stern" said Dylan
"Wait, my dad?" asked Ulrich
"You two know his dad?" asked Yumi
"There was a standoff in Nanjing, he helped us defuse it" said Chase
"How?" asked Ulrich
"He was the best negotiator in TF141, he left about four years ago" said Dylan
"He always did leave on what he said was business trips" said Ulrich
"We also know Odd's dad" said Chase
"WHAT?!" asked Odd
"He's a general in the Italian army! How couldn't we know him?" asked Chase
"But wait, how exactly do you know Odd's dad?" asked Miranda
/Chase and Dylan grinned/
"He was one of the founding members of Task Force 141" said Dylan
"Seriously?! That's so cool!" said Odd
"Yeah, he's a good soldier" said Dylan
"I'll arrange for the two of them to be brought here" said Baseplate
"Don't blindfold general Della Robia, he can get really nasty!" warned Chase
"Gotcha" said Baseplate
/Baseplate got out his phone and walked to the other side of the room, Chase found a paper picture of John Mason/
"We're getting the band back together" said Dylan
"Yep" said Chase
/Chase put the picture on a wall, and shoved a combat knife through it/
"What're you doing?" asked Aelita
"Making sure we don't forget" said Chase
"So is the task force French?" asked William
"No, its international" said Chase
"You can get men and women from Russia to New Zealand, and from India to Brazil" said Dylan
"So a lot of foreign people with a lot of big guns" said Ulrich
"Sums it up, but the French are going to be in it too" said Chase
"Good" said Jeremie
"So, what's the mission objective of this task force?" asked Ulrich
"Kill or capture John Mason" said Dylan and Chase
"Alright, how are you going to do that?" asked Alexandr
"By any means necessary" said Chase
"Creepy, how long until Ulrich's dad and my dad get here?" asked Odd
/Baseplate hung up and walked back/
"Della Robia your father will be here in an hour, and Corporal Stern will be here any minute" said Baseplate
"WHAT?!" asked Ulrich
"Ulrich?" You okay?" asked Yumi
"Huh? Yeah, yeah I'm fine" said Ulrich
"Ulrich he's not going to hurt you or anyone else, alright?" asked Rebecca
/Ulrich simply nodded/
"Okay" said Rebecca
/They heard the door open and saw Heinrich Stern walk in/
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!" asked Heinrich
"Stern, good to see you" said Baseplate
"Screw you Baseplate!" said Heinrich
/Heinrich turned to see Ulrich with his friends, Chase and Dylan were behind Heinrich/
"You! Boy! Why did you tell them where I was!?" asked Heinrich
/Ulrich said nothing/
"I asked you a question!" said Heinrich
/Ulrich looked to the ground/
"Very well then! You leave me no choice!" said Heinrich
/Heinrich lifted his hand up and started walking towards Ulrich/
"CORPORAL STERN!" shouted Chase
/Heinrich froze and lost the color in his face, he put his hand down and slowly turned to see Chase/
"Ghost? You're alive?!" asked Heinrich
"Yeah, its hard to kill a ghost" said Chase
/Heinrich saluted Chase and Dylan/
"At ease" said Dylan
"Now, why did you try and harm a civilian?" asked Chase
"Because I need to teach him discipline!" said Heinrich
"An unarmed civilian? You're more of a waste than I remember you to be" said Chase
/Heinrich had a hurt look on his face as Odd's dad walked in with two soldiers/
"Why are we here Baseplate?" asked Mario
"Look" said Baseplate
/Baseplate pointed at Dylan and Chase, Mario went wide eyed/
"Ghost?! How are you alive?!" asked Mario
"You just simply can't kill a ghost" said Chase with a grin
/Mario saluted and walked up to Chase/
"Well I'm glad you're back, sir" said Mario
/Chase and Mario shook hands as the group watched/
"Alright, how do you know each other?" asked Odd
"SON?! What are you doing here?!" asked Mario
"He's an asset we have, a good one too" said Chase
"Sir? Who are all of those children?" asked Heinrich
"We're his friends, and we're here to help however we can" said Jeremie
"I didn't ask you, and who are you?" asked Heinrich
"Um, Jeremie Belpois" said Jeremie
"What kind of name is-" said Heinrich
"CORPORAL! Just shut it!" shouted Chase
/Heinrich saluted and walked to the table/
"Sorry about that Jeremie, corporal Stern isn't as nice as I remembered him to be" said Chase
"Its alright" said Jeremie
/Chase walked to Baseplate/
"Who are we getting for the task force?" asked Chase
"A bunch of guys from Delta, Rangers, SAS, Spetznaz, and a bunch of others" said Baseplate
"And Mason is the prize?" asked Yumi
"Mason isn't a prize he's a whore, a mad dog killer for the highest bidder" said Baseplate
"When do we kill him?" asked Dylan
/Baseplate smiled/
"We're lucky to have you two back" said Baseplate
/Everyone looked at the table as pictures of dozens recruits appeared/
"We're getting hundreds of men and women" said Baseplate
"Train them, now" said Chase
"Yes sir" said Baseplate
"What about us?" asked Miranda
"We're going back to Kadic, and we're going to come here next week" said Chase
"Why?" asked Jennifer
"To set up a game plan" said Dylan
/Everyone nodded and started waling back to the Humvees as Heinrich and Mario looked at them walking away/
