/TWO DAYS LATER/
/The group except for Dylan was sitting at the lunchtable/
"-And I said 'I'm the smart one, you're the potato one!'" said Miranda
/Everyone laughed except for Chase, Jennifer noticed and put a hand on his shoulder/
"Chase? Are you alright?" asked Jennifer
/Chase looked at her with surprise/
"Y- Yeah, I'm fine" said Chase
/Jennifer didn't believe it, but she shrugged as she saw Dylan approach/
"Here's Dylan" said Jennifer
/Dylan sat down next to Rebecca/
"Hey Dylan" said Rebecca
/Dylan didn't answer, he just looked at his hands/
"Dylan?" asked Miranda
/Dylan started to sob a little, a few tears were going down the sides of his face/
"Dylan? Dylan what's wrong?" asked Rebecca
/Dylan was now openly crying, Rebecca grabbed his hand/
"Dylan what's going on?" asked Rebecca
"I- I just can't do this today" said Dylan
/Dylan got up and ran out of the cafeteria with tears in his eyes/
"What's wrong with him?" asked Rebecca with worry
/Chase sighed with sadness/
"I shot his dad six years ago today" said Chase
/Everyone looked at Chase with shock/
"What?" asked Alexandr
"I killed his dad, today" said Chase
/Chase felt a tear roll down the side of his face/
"Oh my god" said Jeremie
"I- is he going to be alright?" asked Rebecca
"I don't know, he always has a breakdown like this every year" said Chase
"Jesus" whispered William
"I'm going to go and find him" said Rebecca
/Rebecca got up and ran out of the cafeteria/
"Are you okay?" asked Jennifer
"I got through this every year, I'll do it again" said Chase
/Jennifer put a comforting hand on his, causing them both to smile at each other/
/WITH REBECCA/
/Rebecca was looking for Dylan with worry, she finally found him standing at the edge of the forest/
"Dylan!" said Rebecca
/She ran to him and saw he was vomiting/
"Oh my god!" said Rebecca
/She got to him and sat him down, she sat next to him as she started rubbing his back up and down/
"Are you alright?" asked Rebecca
/Dylan looked at Rebecca, his eyes were red and puffy from crying/
"Dylan, talk to me" said Rebecca
"M- my dad is dead" whimpered Dylan
"I know, its going to be alright" said Rebecca
"But-" said Dylan
/Rebecca put a finger on his lips and shushed him/
"I'm here for you, its going to be okay" said Rebecca
/Rebecca let Dylan lean his head on her shoulder as he cried, and Sissi walked to them/
"Well, well, well, what have we here?" asked Sissi with a grin
"Go away Sissi" said Rebecca with anger
"Aw, is the baby gonna cry?" asked Sissi
/Rebecca looked infuriated/
"He lost someone, now go away!" said Rebecca with anger
"Well if someone died, then I guess they kicked the bucket so they wouldn't look at his ugly face!" said Sissi
/Sissi started laughing/
"You sodding bitch!" said Rebecca
/Rebecca got up and walked to her, then she punched Sissi in the mouth hard enough to draw blood, Rebecca sat back next to Dylan as Sissi ran off crying/
"Nice one" said Dylan
"Thanks" said Rebecca
/Rebecca grabbed Dylan's hand and held it tight/
"Are you going to be alright?" asked Rebecca
"I think so, thanks Rebecca" said Dylan
"Its what girlfriends are for" said Rebecca with a smile
/Rebecca kissed Dylan on the lips/
"Hey, do you want to go out and get something to eat with me?" asked Rebecca
"What about classes?" asked Dylan
"What about them?" asked Rebecca
"They'll come and look for us at our rooms" warned Dylan
"Sometimes you just got to go out, have fun, then say 'fuck the consequences!'" said Rebecca with a grin
/Rebecca and Dylan started laughing/
"Sure, why not?" said Dylan
/The both got up, locked hands with a smile, and started walking towards town without a care in the world/
"Where do you want to go?" asked Dylan
"How about that new restaurant that opened a few blocks away?" asked Rebecca
"Sure, I wanted to try that with you anyway" said Dylan
/They both smiled at each other/
"You do realize that if Delmas finds out that you punched Sissi then he'll rain hell fire on you, right?" asked Dylan
"Yep, but I'll just tell him that she should have buggered off and left us alone" said Rebecca
"Yeah that's true" said Dylan
/They got off of Kadic grounds and on the sidewalk/
"I never skipped school before" said Rebecca
"I have a couple of times, you'll get used to the feeling" said Dylan
"Good because to be honest, I kinda like breaking the rules" said Rebecca with a smile
"Who are you and what have you done with Rebecca Townley?" asked Dylan
/Dylan and Rebecca started laughing again/
"I can't believe it took me this long to ask, but where are you from?" asked Dylan
"Wales, but I was born in London" said Rebecca
"London? That's a beautiful city" said Dylan
"It is" said Rebecca
"Do you have any brothers or sisters?" asked Dylan
"I have a sister who lives in Northern Ireland, I go visit her every now and then" said Rebecca
"That's good, what about your parents?" said Dylan
"My mom and dad both work for MI6" said Rebecca
"That's pretty cool" said Dylan
"I actually told my parents about us" said Rebecca
"Really? What'd they say?" asked Dylan
"They're happy for us, even if its an American I'm dating" said Rebecca
"What's wrong with dating an American?" asked Dylan
"Nothing, its just my family had a few ancestors in the American revolution and it made my father have a pro-British view for everything" said Rebecca
"Ah, so tell me about your family" said Dylan
"I love being around them almost as much as I love being around you" said Rebecca
/Rebecca and Dylan blushed/
"And they really want to meet you" said Rebecca
"I thought your parents lived in the UK?" asked Dylan
"No, they live on the other side of town" said Rebecca
"Really? Alright, I wanted to meet them too" said Dylan
/Rebecca giggled with happiness/
/AT KADIC/
/The rest of the group was sitting at the lunchtable when principle Delmas walked over to them/
"Have any of you seen Dylan Enheart and Rebecca Townely?" asked Principle Delmas
"No, why?" asked Chase
"She hit my daughter!" said Principle Delmas
/The group looked at each other/
"Well, there had to have been a good reason" said Ulrich
"Then they went off campus and we can't find them!" said Principle Delmas
"No offence, but your daughter did kind of deserve it" said Jennifer
/Principle Delmas looked infuriated/
"What?" asked Principle Delmas
"I said that Sissi kind of deserved it" said Jennifer
"Yeah I'm with her on that, your daughter was kind of a bully to everyone over the past five or six years" said Chase
"Do you know where Dylan or Rebecca are?" asked Principle Delmas
"No" said the group
/Principle Delmas grunted with anger and walked away/
"Where are those two?" asked Alexandr
"Who knows, I'll call them" said Chase
/Chase got out his phone and dialed Dylan's number/
/WITH DYLAN AND REBECCA/
/Dylan and Rebecca were sitting at a restaurant table when Dylan's phone rang/
"Ugh, phones always love to ruin the moment" said Rebecca
/Dylan smiled as he answered the phone/
"Hello?" asked Dylan
"Hey, where are you and Rebecca?" asked Chase
"We're at that new restaurant a few blocks away" said Dylan
"You're skipping?" asked Chase
"Yep, and I'll talk to you later" said Dylan
/Before Chase could question, Dylan hung up on him/
"Who called?" asked Rebecca
"Chase, he and everyone else wanted to know what we were doing" said Dylan
"Well today is a day where we're forgetting about everything else, except for each other" said Rebecca with a smile
/Rebecca and Dylan smiled at each other and reached across the table to lock hands/
/AT KADIC/
/Chase put his phone in his pocket/
"What'd they say?" asked Jennifer
"They skipped school today" said Chase
"Lucky" said Odd under his breath
"He hung up before I could tell him that Delmas was looking for them both" said Chase
"Where did he say he was?" asked Ulrich
"At that new restaurant that opened a few blocks away" said Chase
"Good for them!" said Aelita
"Yeah, but when they get back they're going to have to answer to Chancellor Delmas and his lapdog GI Jim" said William
/The group started laughing/
/WITH DYLAN AND REBECCA/
"This is nice" said Rebecca
"What's nice?" asked Dylan
"Just us not worrying about XANA, or school, or Sissi, just each other" said Rebecca
"Yeah, once we're done with XANA I'm doing this with you a lot more often" said Dylan with a smile
"Can't wait" said Rebecca with a smile
/They both smiled shyly at each other as the waiter put their food on their table/
"So, how's everything?" asked Dylan
"Good, how've you been?" asked Rebecca
"Aside from this morning I've been good" said Dylan
/Rebecca sighed and put down the hamburger she was about to bite into/
"Dylan, we're worried about you" said Rebecca
"Becca I'm fine-" said Dylan
"No you're not, I just want to help you" said Rebecca
/Dylan sighed/
"Rebecca-" said Dylan
"Please, just talk to me" said Rebecca
/Dylan looked at Rebecca, he saw her concern filled eyes/
"Alright, I'll try and get over what happened to my dad with your help" said Dylan
/Rebecca gasped with happiness and got up, she walked to Dylan's side of the table and sat next to him, then she hugged him as tight as she could/
"Thank you" said Rebecca
"No problem Becca" said Dylan
/Rebecca smiled and gave Dylan a final kiss on the cheek, then she got up and sat back in her own seat on the other side of the table/
/AT KADIC/
/Chase and the group met at the vending machines/
"So they went to that new restaurant?" asked Odd
"Yeah" said Chase
"Lucky bastards" said Miranda
"Yeah, at least until Delmas or Jim finds them" said Yumi
/Sissi walked to the group/
"Where is that British bitch?!" asked Sissi
"Didn't anyone ever tell you to ask nicely?" asked Alexandr
"Shut the hell up Myakofsky!" said Sissi
/Chase noticed the bandage on her lip/
"Did Rebecca give you that beauty scar?" asked Chase
"Yeah, now where is-" said Sissi
"I wasn't talking about your mouth, I was talking about your face in general" said Chase
/Sissi had a look of shock and infuriation as the group started at her and Chase/
"So? Are you going to speak or are you going to walk away?" asked Chase
/Sissi had a look of anger, but she grunted and walked away/
"Nice one" said Miranda
"Thanks" said Chase
"So Dylan and Rebecca are on a date?" asked William
"Seems so" said Alexandr
"Good for them, but I think we all needed a break from XANA" said Yumi
"Yeah, we should think about that after the next attack" said Jeremie
"And I guess I can stop working on the Mustang for a while" said Chase
/The group looked at each other and started making plans for a break/
/WITH DYLAN AND REBECCA/
/Dylan and Rebecca walked out of the restaurant and towards Kadic/
"That was fun!" said Rebecca
"Because we're skipping school for a day?" asked Dylan
"That, and I'm on a date with you" said Rebecca
"Suck up" said Dylan with a grin
"What? I am not a suck up!" said Rebecca playfully
"Sure you aren't" said Dylan with a grin
"I am not!" said Rebecca withholding laughter
/They both looked at each other, then started laughing/
"I wonder how much trouble we'll be in when we get back?" asked Rebecca
"Not as bad as when me and Chase were in Madagascar" said Dylan
"Well I'm just saying, we're either going to get a lot of detention or we're packing our bags" said Rebecca
"If its with you then its totally worth it" said Dylan
"Now who's being a suck up?" asked Rebecca playfully
/They both laughed as they walked through the gates of Kadic/
"Showtime" said Rebecca
/They both saw Principle Delmas heading towards them, they locked hands as Delmas stopped in front of them/
"You hit my daughter, then leave campus with out permission, explain!" said Principle Delmas
/Rebecca and Dylan looked at each other, then looked at Delmas/
"Sissi was making fun of something that happened to Dylan" said Rebecca
"What happened to Mr. Enheart?" asked Principle Delmas
/Dylan sighed/
"My dad died a few years ago and today's the anniversary" said Dylan
/Principle Delmas looked like he didn't believe it/
"I don't believe you" said Principle Delmas
"Believe what you want, but I've got six years of mourning to prove it" said Dylan
"I've seen it Mr. Delmas, he isn't lying" said Rebecca
/Dylan and Rebecca locked hands tightly/
"Do you have proof?" asked Principle Delmas
"Ask my goddam brother, now are you going to send us to detention or what?" asked Dylan
/Principle Delmas looked thoughtful, he's seen teenage crushes throughout several years of being at Kadic, he's seen countless students at the principle's office. But these two in front of him were honestly in love with each other, and plus he never took Ms. Townely to be a liar, ever/
"You two need to report for one hour of detention while I go have a talk with my daughter for her behavior" said Principle Delmas
/Rebecca and Dylan went wide eyed and slack jawed as Principle Delmas walked away/
"D- Did that just happen?" asked Dylan in shock
"I think so" said Rebecca in shock
/Dylan looked at Rebecca/
"You were right" said Dylan
"About what?" asked Rebecca
"Sometimes we have to go out, have fun, then say 'fuck the consequences!'" said Dylan
/Rebecca and Dylan started laughing/
"So did you enjoy yourself?" asked Rebecca
"Yeah, hey thanks for today, it really cheered me up" said Dylan
"Not a problem" said Rebecca with a grin
/They both locked hands and started walking to the detention hall/
