Greetings, everyone! It has been FOREVER since I posted anything, and I apologize! Since you last heard from me, I've had a baby and left my full time job to stay home with my son. And, luckily, during my time away, I have had quite a few songs come to mind to add. So, without further ado, here's the next chapter! As always, I don't own the characters or the song.
Love Never Dies
Winry was new to all of this love stuff. She wasn't too sure when it had started or what had caused it. All she knew was that she'd fallen for the alchemic shrimp, and suddenly, feelings she hadn't even been aware of were brought to life. Within a matter of days, it had infiltrated her thoughts, dreams and soul, taking control of her entire being. She had tried fighting it and denying it, insisting to herself that she could never have fallen for someone shorter than her, especially her best friend, but once she had been captured by it, love wouldn't let her out of it's clutches.
So instead of digging in her heels and fighting it for the rest of her life, she surrendered herself to it and it wasn't too long until it practically became a being of its own. It used her at its whim, driving her to sadness and lifting her to dizzying levels of joy. Loving Edward brought her pleasure as well as pain. She wasn't even really sure about if they would ever be together, but there was something she was sure of. Love never faded or faltered.
It only endured and lived on.
