chapter 19

It had been a few hours since Akuma challenged me to a duel. The duel had gone in my favor. While Akuma did know how to swing a scythe. didn't however take the scythe weakness into account. I now I was now heading to the inn , so that I could go to sleep. I unequip my equipment, and lay down in my bed. When I finally get to sleep, I am suddenly awakened by a loud knocking on my door. I pull up my clock from the menu. It was about 3:37 in the morning. I get out of bed, and quickly equipped my robe, as I walk over to the door. I open it to find Saya at the door. "Saya,what are you doing up this late?"

"I'm sorry to disturb you my lady, but that guy Heathcliff and his guild found the boss room."

" The boss room what really? How do you know?"

Well Yami and Kuro were on their nightly Patrol, when they heard it. Yami knocked on my door and woke me up. At first I thought she was going to tell me about pking activity. But she told me that Heathcliff the rest of the Knights of the Blood had discovered the boss room."

"Who else have you told from the guild, Saya?"

"Well I already woke up Ami, Sakura, Akito, Tora, and Senji. I told Senji to wake up Nagi."

" Good go wake up Hikari , her room is directly across from mine." Saya quickly runs across the hall and knocks on Hikari's door. And after a couple minutes she comes out all dressed for battle."

I quickly equipp my scythe and turn to Death." Come on girl, let's go kill the boss." She screeches in agreement and flies over and lands on my shoulder. We run outside the Inn to find Heathcliff and Asuna forming a raid party to take out the boss. After about 30 minutes or so of waiting, Heathcliff announces that we are heading towards the boss room. When we make it to the boss room, we push open the big stone doors and light up the room. As we walk in to the boss room it appears to be empty. We look around the room with no sign of the boss. Heathcliff approaches the doors to floor 16, which was seemingly open, a barrier appears.

Rocks fall the ceiling and everyone looks up, to see a fishman. The fishman had 8 arms and holds a kodachi in each one. The fish swims down from the above and lands infront of him. It was like 15 feet tall an extremely muscular. Its' name and health bars appear, i was called The Fishman King and it had 5 health bars. It starts attacking Heathcliff who amazingly enough is blocking all eight kodachi with his shield. He does a shield bash and yells "Attack!" Everyone starts charging in to attack the boss, when suddenly attacks come from either side of him. This was one of the bosses that was not alone, he had a couple of minions. Fishman dual wielding two swords, Heathcliff looks over and sees the minions. D group you keep the one on the left occupied! E group take the one on the right! Groups A, B and C we will take the boss! Group A contained the Knights of Blood and Kirito. Group B contained the Holy Dragon Alliance. Group C was myself and the other members of Shinigami. D was Klein and his guild as well as many other players. And lastly E group Karasu and her guild.

The boss was himself was really quick, he could simultaneously block and Dodge attacks. That fact he had eight swords, didn't help our odds either. This boss would be a really tough opponent to beat. Then the Holy Dragon Alliance started attacking the boss from behind while Heathcliff and his guild attacked from the front. The attacks were actually hitting the boss and he was taking damage. The boss gets wise this though and swims up to where the couldn't reach him. The boss points all his swords forward and starts diving towards them.

The attack manages to hit quite a few of the HDA members though no nobody was killed. He lands back down the ground and proceeds to try and kill them. Heathcliff motions for everyone to attack him from the back. Saya and I charge in with everyone. All take turns switching in and out and Landing attacks on the boss. The boss again does the dive move, but this time on us. This time though we weren't so lucky, the boss kills someone. It a killed a member of the KOB "Nooooo! Kaze don't die!" Yells a girl holding player in hurt arms as he shatters into pieces.

The boss at this was also down two bars of health. "We taken it down two bars! Don't let anybody else die! " Heathcliff yells as the Dragon Alliance attack the boss from behind, once again. When he reachs 2 bars, he drops his swords and pull out 4 Two-handed Axes. "Watch out he's changing tactics, everybody be careful! " Heathcliff yells.

The boss wings two axes towards us, and two towards the Holy Dragon Alliance. It hits a few people but no one is seriously injured. He then swings all four at the Holy Dragon Alliance, giving everyone else a chance to attack. He swings his Axes back at us but everyone manages to dodge. Kirito rushs back in and lands a few blows, before retreating. The boss had three fourths of a bar of its last bar left. As the boss charges at as swinging its axes, the Holy Dragon Alliance take this opportunity to send in all its members and finish the boss off.

They land the last attack on the boss. You see, The Holy Dragon Alliance is a bit of a cocky Guild. They think they're the best guild in all of Aincrad. They are second only to the Knights of Blood. They always make an effort to land the finishing blow on bosses. When the barrier disappears The Holy Dragon Alliance marches forward towards it and goes on to floor 17. Everyone else follows, them curious to see what the floor was. My guild and I go through the portal to floor 17. The portal led to a small island. I looked around the area and all I could see ocean all around us, with Islands scattered here and there.

I turn to the guild " Guys I have ben thinking and we need to buy a guild house. I'm getting a bit tired of using a inn as our base. I saw a housing merchant in the last on the last floor. However I'm not having our base be underwater. I'm going to see if there's any cool houses available on this floor first I need everybody to trade me some col, that way at least everybody it has played a part and purchasing it."After everyone is done trading, I walk into town and look foor the housing merchant. I finally find him and look though the list of available homes. Among the top was list was small castles that where set on some the small islands around the town. As I look through I realize I have just enough to buy one the castles. I turn around to see everyone standing behind me.

"So what did you buy?"Asks Senji.

I look in my quest list see a new Quest to go to the Guild House. I Turn on the question marker "follow me and i will show you." Following my quest marker, I lead everyone to the northen end of the shore. I see the marker pointing towards a castle in the distance. Slightly towards our left was a bridge connecting our Castle Island, to the main island. "See that castle everyone that is our new home. We can use this for the time being. We can buy a new one when we get to a newer and bigger ones as we reach higher floors. There should be enough room for everyone to have their own bedroom, As well as training halls and armory for weapons storage. And most importantly a guild vault for shared Guild inventory. Now, come on everyone let's go explore our new home." Everyone runs towards the castle. When I reached the castle, I went to see if I could find Saya. I didn't have to look far though as I knew where she was going. I found her in the kitchen of the castle. " I just knew this would be the first place you would go Saya!"

" of course my lady you know I like cooking! Why wouldn't I check out the kitchen first?"

"Anyway, so how do You like it?"

"It is amazing , and the best part is I don't have to share it with other players. Sometimes useing the kitchen in the inns were a hassle, because I had to share them with other players trying to up their cooking skills. But now I have this one all to myself, and I'm loving it.

"Good I'm glad you like it, I'll come on Saya. Let's go check out the rest of Shinigami castle!"
