Cyclonia 2 hours before wedding
At last the guests of the wedding had started to Arrive. Piper and Cyclonis were kept busy welcoming the separate groups of guests. The first to arrive were the Rex guardians led by Harrier.
"Ah Harrier, so good you could make it" Pipers states shacking Harriers hand as she welcomes him.
"Yes well it would be rude not to show up on such a… prestigious occasion" he states giving a sideways glance at the Leader of Cyclonia.
The second guest to arrive were a complete surprise to everyone as two murk raider ships ascended out of the clouds.
The captain of the ships disembarks by sliding down a rope coming to a stop in front of Cyclonis.
"It's been a long time lass, now look at you all grown up and counting down the hours till your married"
"Yes I've not seen you since grandmother was alive. Oh and next time I send a message ship to you could you not impale it on a cliff, kind of makes it hard to use." She states as he walks into the halls laughing like a manic
"You invited the murk raiders? Just how in the world do you know them?" Piper asks desperately wanting to know
"When I was younger the captain and my grandmother were friends if you believe it or not. He would stop by on occasion to give her any valuable crystals in exchange for cash or upgrades for his ship and crew."
While stating this another villainous party showed up. It was Repton and his Raptors.
"Repton, I didn't think you'd make it" Cyclonis states welcoming the leader of the Raptors.
He merely nods his head in a small movement as he makes his way inside.
Shortly after the Sky knight of Blizzars shows up her absolute zeros squadron looking shockingly behaved and quiet for once.
"Suzy so glad you could make it" Piper says before she is scooped up in a big hug and twirled about.
"Well when I heard you were getting married I dragged the boys down from the mountains and made my way here quick as I could."
"I see that… but this is the first time they've looked so… behaved"
Suzy looks over at her team before she grins back to Piper
"Yeah well I might have promised to put them in a world of hurt if they cause any trouble"
Piper watches as they make their way inside and the rest of the guests show up.
Another surprise guest shows up as a custom Carrier comes into view. When it lands a small group of men come out and form two lines on both sides of the landing strip as the gangster leader himself walks down the plank.
"Ah what a wonderful day for a wedding, wouldn't you agree boys?" he asks back at his men who nod their heads in agreement.
"Colonel what a surprise I thought you would be too busy to attend."
He bring his hand up to his chest in a mocking gesture
"Me? Miss a wedding, the most sacred of days why madam you wound me. I wouldn't miss this for the world" he shakes Cyclonis before moving his spider like body inside followed by his goons.
Piper spots a certain guest and goes to greet him.
"Arygyn I didn't think that you would come"
He turns around and extends his hand in a wide gesture
"Are you kidding I love weddings, but mostly the cake can never get enough of that stuff." He stars going into a fit of laughter before he leans close to her ear getting serious.
"But be warned honey, I got a bad feeling about something here, just be sure to stay close to Cyclonis and Arrow for now"
Before Piper can respond to this she hears someone saying her name. She looks over to see her friend Perry making her way to her.
"What kind of bad feeling…" she looks back only to find that Arygyn had vanished.
"Piper! I made it, I can't believe how big this place is."
"Perry it's good to see you but how did you make it here I know you threw off the ban on crystals but I don't see how you could have built a ship to get here."
"Yes well we are still learning how to use crystals but we do have other means of transportation" she gestures over to her ship. Instead of a crystal engine it had two giant bird creature attached via harness to the front of the ship.
Other guests start to arrive and fill up the platforms before they make their way inside and start mingling with the other guests.
Eventually all the guests arrive and Piper and Cyclonis make their way inside to start the wedding.
The couple part to get dressed in their attire so they can begin.
Piper gets ready with the ever present maid team. Her usual clothes are thrown off for the dress, her hair clip is removed so that her hair can be put in a braid. A few minutes pass as different friends come by to say words of encouragement before she walks down the aisle.
She's standing behind the great doors of the main hall waiting for the music to start when Arrow walks up.
"As your captain and your closest thing to family I thought I should do the honor of giving you away"
"Thank you Arrow that means a lot to me"
She hears the music start up and the massive doors in front of her open, she sees all the people sitting in rows looking up as she passes them many of them wearing smiles.
She sees Cyclonis at the altar flanked on her sides by Ravess, Snipe and the Dark Ace. Her team stands on the left side of the Alter.
When they make it to the Alter Arrow releases her to take the best man spot. Cyclonis removes the veil that had been placed on her.
An older man dressed in fine robes begins the ceremony from behind a stand
"We are gathered her today to join in holy matrimony Master Cyclonis and her beloved Piper, on this day a new era begins for Cyclonia no for all Atmos. Do you Cyclonis take Piper to be you wife to cherish and hold for as long as you are able till death do you part?"
"I do" she states without a moment of hesitation
"And do you Piper take Cyclonis as your wife to cherish and hold for as long as you are able till death do you part"
"I do" she says a smile on her face.
"Then I ask, is there anyone out there who would give a reason why these two should not be wed?"
A few daring eyes sweep to Arrow.
After a few moment of silence the man continues
"Then by the power vested in me I know pronounce you wife and wife may you rule together until you pass from this world, you may now kiss the bride"
And in front of everyone Piper and Cyclonis seal their marriage with a passionate kiss. The audience erupts in frantic applause at this. After a moment Cyclonis ventures to the stand to make a short speech.
"Before I leave you all to begin the honey moon I just wanted to say something to someone who up till recently has been my most loyal comrade"
She sweeps her hand over to the Dark Ace.
"Dark Ace, you have been my trusted general since I was young but I'm afraid your services will no longer be needed. For I state for all of Atmos and before all these Sky knights the war is over."
The dark ace pulls out his sword and levels it at Cyclonis
"I'm afraid it's the other way around Master, on this day I take control of Cyclonia and remove you from the head position forever" he states before he jumps in the air sword drawn aiming it at Cyclonis chest.
Time seems to slow down as everyone watches him sail thought the air.
Before is blade hits its target a blast of red comes from out of the shadows blasting him into the wall. Within moment the Storm hawks have formed a circle around Piper and Cyclonis.
The crowd looks to the shadows to see the red eyed night crawler Ghoul standing there hand on a fire bolt crystal.
He jumps over the crowd landing in front of Cyclonis bowing.
"I'm sorry I'm late Master it took longer than expected to hunt down and capture all the traitors"
Cyclonis comes from out of the circle to the now unconscious Dark Ace. She bends down to take his sword before going over to Arrow.
"If I remember right Dark Ace stole this weapon lighting Strike the last leader of the Storm Hawks, I now return this weapon to where it belongs" she says as she extends the blade
Arrow looks at her and then to the blade before he takes it in hand.
"I'll use it well, but what of the Dark Ace?"
Cyclonis turns back to look at the man
"Night crawlers, take him to the dungeon"
