Thank you so much. Enjoy this last update. Until next time :)

Epilogue – Five Years Later

It was summer in Storybrooke. That meant warm air, full beaches, and late night walks along the docks. However Regina was having none of it. She was heavily pregnant. Who knew two women could make a baby out of true love magic. Well it happened and not that Regina wasn't overjoyed, she just wanted their baby girl out of her already.

She was at the office, her last day till she went on maternity leave. She was just about ready to leave, filling out some last minute paper work for Katherine before she took over fully till Regina returned. The form had been translated into braille and she easily went over it and signed what needed to be signed.

"Ready to go Madame Mayor?" Emma suddenly came in and Regina looked up, her sightless eyes glowing purple. She smiled and gathered her forms.

"Yes dear but you're gonna have to help me out of this chair."

Emma chuckled, her green eyes glowing at the sight of her pregnant wife. Even while pregnant Regina still looked so perfect. She was all belly and no fat. She moved around the desk and helped Regina to her feet. She leaned in, kissing those lips and Regina moaned at the sudden contact.

"You look so beautiful," Emma whispered, their lips barely inches apart. Regina could feel her breath on her lips and she wished for the thousandth time for the past 5 years that she could look into those green eyes she's missed so much.

"I'm fat," she scoffed, pulling away and grabbing her things.

"You're pregnant," Emma laughed at the words coming out of her wife's mouth. "And you're still not even fat. You're all belly."

"We're married, you're supposed to say that," Regina teased her as they walked out of the office hand in hand. She dropped off the forms at her assistant's desk with instructions for Katherine and was soon heading out into the warm afternoon air.

Emma had walked from the station, enjoying the warm sun. Since she didn't have her bug and Regina no longer drove, they walked to the diner, their hands still clasped together. Regina's eyes were no longer glowing. Using her magic all day to compensate for her lost sense drained her and so she walked blindly, trusting Emma unconditionally.

When they arrived at the diner, she could hear idle chatter from customers as well as smell the scent of food and coffee wafting in the air. Among the voices she could hear Henry. She smiled as Emma led her to their booth. Snow, David and five year old Neal was sitting on one side while Henry sat across from them.

"Moms!" the 17 year old teen exclaimed excitedly, as they sat beside him with Regina in the middle. "We're planning a bonfire tonight on the beach with s'mores and hot dogs and everything."

"A bonfire?" Regina asked, eyebrow rising.

"Yeah, to celebrate the last two weeks of summer before school."

"Alright, try not to eat too much Henry. I know you won't want to miss out on tonight's treats," Regina stated.

"Ok, I'll have a burger…" He stopped at Regina's scowl.

"Fine, a chicken salad," he groaned, looking at Emma for some help.

"Your mother is right. I'll have the same," she told Ruby who had come over with her order pad.

"Aunt Gina! Can we go swimming? Mama said no," Neal pouted. The five year old had been too confused when they tried explaining to him that he was Regina's brother in law so instead, he called her Aunt Gina.

"Neal honey, I know it's warm but the ocean will be too cold to go swimming," Snow tried explaining once more.

"Yeah, plus there's sharks," Henry laughed.

"Henry!" Regina scolded, not seeing the amused smirk on Emma's lips. She looked blindly towards Neal's direction. "Your mother is right, honey. It's going to be too cold. You don't want to freeze like a popsicle do you?"

"No," he pouted disappointedly.

"Tell you what, we can go again during the daytime before school starts."

"Ok," he said happily, grabbing his crayons and continuing his drawings. Regina felt a hand on her belly… her wife's hand and she laid her own on top, squeezing it.

Their plates were set in front of them moments later. The hand that was on her belly was suddenly lifted. Emma placed a fork in her hand, curling her fingers into a grip and placing it on the plate, showing her where her salad was.

Years ago she would have rejected the help. She would have shut down and pushed anyone who tried to help her away. Now, she welcomed it, because sometimes accepting help is what makes you strong. The people who had become her family had taught her that.

Hours later found the family at the beach. The air was warm, perfect for a night on the sand. The bonfire was lit and blankets were placed a safe distance from the flames. Lanterns were put up, shinning more light on the small family gathering.

Henry, David, and Emma stood at the flames making various hot dogs and s'mores. Snow sat beside a heavily pregnant Regina on one of the blankets.

"And my hair is this long…" Neal explained, moving Regina's hands to his blond hair. She laughed as she brushed her fingers over his face.

"Did you get taller?" she asked, making the five year old laugh.

"I did! See told ya ma!" he giggled in Snow's direction. It had become a sort of game between the small child and the former Queen. Every month he described how he looked so she wouldn't miss a thing as he grew, his words exactly. He was the only one she couldn't put a face to since the last she saw him he was all but an infant.

"Come try this buddy!" David's voice sounded from where he was standing at the fire. He held out a s'more. Neal didn't have to be told twice. He took off, making both women laugh. Regina had heard his feet kicking up sand signaling his leave.

"I can't believe how fast he's growing," Snow said softly, watching their family laughing and enjoying their treats.

"Neither can I," Regina said softly, her hand on her belly. She could feel her daughter kicking beneath her palm. Her eyes suddenly glowed purple in order to locate Snow's hand. She took it and gently placed it on her belly, right over her little girls kicking.

"Oh, Regina…" Snow whispered in wonder, feeling little feet moving.

"She's been kicking all evening," Regina said, her tone full of maternal affection.

"I think she's ready to meet everyone," Snow said.

"Patience little one," Regina chuckled. "You have one more month."

"Have you two settled on a name yet?"

"Emma wants to name her Willow, after a sorcerer on TV. I forgot the name of the show. Something with vampires I guess."

"Willow…" Snow thought about it. "I like it."

Later that evening, Emma and Regina were walking along the shore together, arms linked and enjoying the night summer breeze. Between the bond fire and the family bonding, they haven't had a moment alone all evening. Regina jumped at the chance of being with her wife when Emma had come over to where she and Snow were sitting and asked if she wanted to go for a walk.

"Come on, take a bite," Emma laughed, holding her s'more out. "I can't believe you've never had a s'more before."

"It's nothing but sugar and I will not be feeding that to our unborn daughter," Regina stated and Emma groaned at her wife's stubbornness.

"Fine," she laughed, finishing the s'more off herself.

"Besides, the smell of hot dogs is making me nauseas."

"Do you want to go home?" Emma suddenly asked in concern.

"No dear, this walk is making me feel better," she admitted softly, not wanting to ruin the fun. All she needed was to get away from the fire and smell of roasting hot dogs if even just for a moment.

"I can't wait till we get to meet her. How do you think she'll look? Like me or maybe with your complexion and beautiful dark hair and eyes? Are you going to teach her Spanish? Because I think she should embrace her Latina half…"

Emma was rambling and Regina stopped her in her tracks, and silenced her with a kiss that missed and hit the corner of her mouth instead. Emma laughed and repositioned themselves, taking her lips in a heated kiss.

When they pulled away, Emma looked into unfocused brown eyes. It's been so long since that fateful day when a drunk idiot had cut Regina off at the intersection, taking her sight. Since then they had connected as not just friends but as lovers.

Even if Regina had lost her sight, Emma was grateful what it had led them to. They found love within each other and soon a baby…

"I think Willow will look beautiful just like you," Regina whispered, her lips only inches apart from Emma. "Or if she comes out looking like me. It really doesn't matter."

"Willow?" Emma asked, confused because her wife had automatically vetoed it.

"I've come to like it," Regina said softly, tugging on Emma's hand and continuing their walk.

The next month flew by and Regina was just about ready to pop. She was only two weeks from her due date. School had started and summer was ending, slowly transitioning to fall. Henry was starting his last year of high school and Regina sat beside him with teary eyes as they all had breakfast before starting their day.

"Mom… please don't get all mushy," he groaned when he looked up at her.

"What?" she asked innocently. "Can't I be a little sad that the little baby I diapered and clothed and fed for 17 years is starting his last year of high school?"

Emma snorted. "She diapered you."

Henry groaned once more but there was a ghost of a smile on his lips. He got up, took his dishes to the sink and kissed his adoptive mother on the cheek.

"I love you," he whispered and then he was rushing out the door, backpack and books in hand. She heard Emma getting up, taking both of their dishes to the sink. She got up, following Emma to the kitchen. After the past five years, she had learned to navigate her way around the mansion without the aid of her magic. She knew it like the back of her hand plus Emma and Henry were very careful not to leave anything lying around in case she'd trip and fall.

"Hey, you ok sweetheart?" Emma asked and she heard the sink turn off. She followed Emma's voice and walked right over and into her arms. The pregnancy hormones made her so damn emotional. Silent tears started streaming down her cheeks and Emma pulled away to look into her eyes. "Gina?"

"He's so grown up and the only image I have of him is as a child."

There was no words that Emma could say to make this better. She was right. She missed the last five years of seeing their son grow into a young man. She would never even get to see their daughter.

So all she did was hold her.

Later that night Regina couldn't sleep. Her mind was full and the baby wouldn't stop kicking. She didn't want to wake Emma. She had a long day and was knocked out beside her, snoring softly. So she got up and decided to make some tea to help her sleep.

"I know little one," she whispered, her hand on her belly as she headed for the stairs.

There was no way she could've seen Neal's toy car that had been let on the steps while Snow and David had been over for dinner that evening.

Emma was out of bed and running to the staircase the moment she heard her wife's scream.

"Regina!"

She found her at the bottom of the staircase, knocked out cold. Blood seeped from the corner of her mouth. She fell on her knees beside her, afraid to move her.

"Mom!" Henry had heard and was rushing down towards them. "We need to call 911!" he yelled, trying to snap Emma from her shocked daze. He grabbed her cell and thrust it into her hand. "Mom! She needs help!"

"The baby…" she murmured, ignoring Henry and raising her hands over Regina's belly. She hasn't tapped into her healing powers since she had been caught practicing on herself all those years ago. She wasn't sure if she could still do this. She needed to try.

"Mom! What are you doing?" She heard Henry cry out. She closed her eyes, blocking him out as he dialed 911 and asked for an ambulance. She calmed her mind.

Magic is emotion.

Those words that Gold had told her so long ago echoed through her mind. She thought of Regina. Of the cold woman she had met upon her arrival and how little by little, Regina let down her walls and showed her the person she really was. She became a hero. She became her wife. She was the mother of her children. Emma couldn't lose her.

Her hands glowed and Henry had momentarily forgot about the operator on the line, and watched shocked as Emma attempted to heal his adoptive mother.

She thought about the accident five years ago. The last time Regina ever looked at her, she was in pain and was terrified. She let Emma take care of her and opened her heart to her. The moment she knew she had fallen in love with the beautiful sorceress.

She felt it the moment she tapped into Regina's magic unintentionally. The golden light of her magic beneath her palms mixed with purple, Regina's signature color. She felt stronger, more determined to heal her and the baby.

She thought of the little baby that Regina will never get to see. The only one she wouldn't be able to put a face to, besides from Neal. She thought of the heartbreaking tears the moment Regina found out she was pregnant and what she will miss. She thought of the nursery they designed together and how some nights she'd find her asleep in the rocking chair.

Her love for their daughter made her heart soar and her magic stronger.

She tapped into Willow's magic, completely unaware until gold and purple light shimmered with silver. The baby had light magic. They knew it was possible but this was the first time it had made itself known. She kept going though and it wasn't until the paramedics were knocking on their door and coming in, did she finally stop.

She slumped forward, her breathing labored and hands shaking. She hoped to god it worked. She hoped she saved them.

"Mom, what was that?" Henry asked as the paramedics loaded Regina onto a stretcher. He had seen the change in her magic. It was as if she was using more than one.

"I… I think the baby has magic…" she whispered and then shakily got to her feet.

"Did you heal her?" he asked, close to tears and she pulled him against her.

"I don't know," she whispered.

Emma followed the ambulance in her bug with Henry in the front seat. All she could think about was whether she healed her not. Whether the baby was still alive. She was terrified and her hands shook as she gripped the steering wheel. When she finally approached the hospital she could see them rushing Regina inside. They looked frantic, more so then they first arrived at the mansion.

"Something's wrong!" Henry panicked. Emma wasted no time in parking the bug and following her kid to the entrance of the ER.

"Where are they taking her!" Emma asked the paramedic that transferred Regina to the care of the hospital staff.

"She's fine, sheriff. Whatever healing magic you did worked, except the placenta burst and they're rushing her in for an emergency c section," he explained and then was rushing back out to his truck, leaving mother and son alone.

She opened her eyes to a shockingly bright light and quickly closed her eyes, unable to adjust to the brightness after living in darkness for so long. She must have been dreaming or maybe she had died and this was the light. Regina didn't know. What she also didn't know was that she was currently lying on an operating table surrounded by nurses and doctors getting ready to deliver her baby. She heard the beeping of monitors and people talking medical jargon she didn't understand. Her senses were on hyper drive and she started to panic. Her head was pounding from that quick glimpse of what she didn't know, were severe operating lights. She figured it was some type of head trauma from the fall.

"Her heart rate is going up. Let's put her under," a voice she couldn't recognize sounded above her. A plastic mask was place on her mouth and nose and it was suddenly easier to breathe.

"You're ok, just breathe," the same voice from before spoke softly to her.

She couldn't understand. Where was she? What was that strange light?

"Emma…" she mumbled beneath the mask, the last words she spoke before the anesthesia pulled her under.

Emma was slumped in the waiting room chair with Henry snoring in the one next to her. David was pacing. Snow was on the floor with Neal, helping him draw a get well card for Regina and the baby. Emma was a nervous wreck. She was exhausted from the heavy magic she performed hours before. She tried explaining it to herself in her head, desperately trying to make sense of this. It wasn't just her magic she tapped into. She tapped into Regina's and the baby's as well. She didn't know how. It just happened and she couldn't help but wonder just how powerful their little girl actually was.

When Regina's doctor finally came forward looking exhausted but relieved, she right away knew that Regina was ok. The delivery had been a success and they now had a healthy baby girl. She still needed him to tell her. It was the only thing he could say that well let her mind be at peace.

"Sheriff Swan, mother and daughter are doing just fine. You saved both of their lives. They're both healthy and strong thanks to you."

"Can… Can I see her?" she asked, swallowing the lump in her throat.

"Of course, but maybe one at a time. They're cleaning up the baby and checking her vitals. A nurse will be bring her in shortly."

"Thank you," she said, feeling the massive weight on her shoulders dissipate. He smiled and took his leave, leaving her with her family.

Henry had woken and was looking at her with tired but relieved eyes.

Regina was ok and so was their newest member of their growing family.

"Go honey," Snow said softly, gently pushing her forward. "We'll be right out here."

She took a breath, desperately trying to keep it together. She disappeared down the hall and found Regina's room.

Her wife looked so small in that hospital bed and she couldn't stop the few tears that escaped down her cheeks.

"Oh sweetie, I'm so sorry," she whispered as she approached her and took her hand. The doctor had said she was perfectly fine thanks to Emma's healing magic. She had healed all of her wounds and the only thing she was healing from was her c section.

She sat on the chair beside her and squeezed her hand waiting for her to wake.

And then they brought Willow in.

Snow was the one to bring her. Apparently she got to go meet everyone else in the waiting room first.

"Someone wants to meet you," she whispered, taking in her daughter's teary eyes and placing Willow into her arms. She approached Regina and affectionately smoothed dark strands of hair from her face and behind her ear.

"Hello little one," Emma whispered, holding the tiny infant close to her chest. Her heart swelled with unconditional love, the same love she felt for Henry. She had Regina's complexion and a head of dark hair. And those eyes. Regina's eyes. "You look just like mommy."

"Regina's mini me," Snow said softly, gazing at Emma and her granddaughter.

"She's so beautiful," Emma whispered in awe gazing at the little bundle in her arms. She was so entranced with the baby that she didn't even notice Snow slipping out and giving her a moment alone with her daughter. In that moment in time it was just she and Willow. Aside from Regina, nothing else matter in that moment. Innocent dark eyes stared up at her in wonder, a hint of a frown as Willow observed the world for the first time.

"We almost lost you. My… Our magic saved you and your mom, kid," she whispered, her eyes teary as Regina's scream echoed in her mind and the image of Regina out cold at the bottom of the stairs flashed before her eyes. They had been so lucky where it could have been so much worse. She could have lost them. "I can't promise to always protect you from bad things but I will promise you this, I will always be there for you. You won't ever feel alone."

Emma had spent hours holding the baby and watching over Regina. She had yet to wake, and when night came Emma could no longer fight the pull of sleep. She gently placed the baby in the plastic infant crib the nurse had placed beside Regina's bed and settled herself in for an uncomfortable night in the chair.

Regina didn't know how long she had been out. She didn't even know whether it was morning or night or what day it was. She slowly shifted to her side, feeling a sore ache in her belly where they had to cut into her. She kept her eyes closed, still so tired from the drugs and surgery.

It wasn't until she heard the soft snoring of her wife did she finally decided to open her eyes.

She thought she had been dreaming before she had gone under for surgery. She remembered seeing a bright light.

The moment she opened her eyes, she was met by that same bright light, except it was much dimmer. She shut her eyes closed, her heart racing in shock. She sat up covering her eyes with her hands.

"Emma!" she cried out and she could hear Emma's snoring come to a halt. She felt her wife rushing over to her and sitting in front of her on the bed.

"Hey, I'm here," she said softly, pulling her hands from her face, not understanding why she was covering her eyes. "Are you hurt? What's wrong?"

"No," she whispered, waving her hand and dimming the lights even more. Emma looked around the room in confusion. She could barely see now but just enough to see their baby girl was now awake and silently looking around the room.

"You're scaring me," Emma said shakily, holding Regina's hands

"Did you heal me? After I… fell?"

"Yes, in fact I had tapped into your and the baby's powers without intending to… Regina?" Emma frowned, unable to understand why she was asking her this.

"I think you did more than just heal me Emma," she said and then she opened her eyes, wincing as they came into focus for the first time in five years.

The blurry figure in front of her soon came into focus and she was finally looking into those bright green eyes she's missed so much. She slid her hand from Emma's and gently reached out, tilting her chin so she could look at her.

"Emma… my beautiful Emma. I can see you…" she whispered and Emma's mouth fell open in shock.

"What?" She couldn't process the words coming from the woman in front of her.

"I can see you," she whispered, tears streaming from her cheeks and for the first time she was actually making eye contact. "You gave me back my sight. You did more than just heal me."

She finally made sense of what Regina was telling her and relief and joy and an overwhelming sense of love surged through her. She crashed her lips to Regina, holding her so close it seemed she would lose her if she lets go. Even after their kiss Emma tightly held her against her chest, her body shaking with tears of happiness.

"Emma, you're squishing me," she laughed and Emma finally pulled away.

"I'm sorry," she said shakily through tears. "It's just all I ever wanted for you."

Regina smiled, reaching out and wiping the tears from Emma's face. She slowly drew her into another kiss. It was slow this time, much more heated and then the sound of a baby crying out forced them to pull apart.

Regina looked over to where it was coming from and right away saw their baby girl in the plastic infant bed. Her hands settled on her belly, feeling the loss of her child that had been inside her for the last 8 and a half months.

"Is that?" she asked shakily and Emma got up. She gently picked up the crying baby.

"Ssh, it's ok," she whispered as she carried her over to Regina. "There's someone that wants to meet you." She looked at Regina, her heart swelling at the sight of her being able to see their daughter for the first time. A moment that hadn't been possible just a day ago.

"Meet Willow," she whispered, placing her in Regina's arms who immediately held her close to her chest.

"Hello my little angel," she cooed, already sensing the powerful elemental magic that she possessed. She would do everything in her power to teach their daughter to harness and control it and use it for good. She would know the importance of both good and dark magic. She vowed to never let her daughter stray the way she herself did so many years ago.

The baby let out a whimper and somehow Regina knew exactly what their little girl needed. She adjusted her hospital gown, exposing her breast and Willow immediately latched on, suckling hungrily from her mother.

"I never thought I'd get to see this," she whispered and Emma wiped another stray tear from her cheek as she watched her wife feed their daughter. She had never seen something so beautiful and she was so happy that Regina could see it as well.

"It took all three of our magic to heal your sight," Emma concluded. "Is her magic really that powerful?"

"Yes," Regina said softly. "Although she couldn't have done it without us either. Together, our magic combined is more powerful than I could ever imagine."

She and Regina spent the night in each other's arms, with Willow asleep on Regina's chest. Emma thought she had been dreaming and was afraid that when she woke up, brown unfocused eyes would be staring into her direction, never actually seeing her. However, when she felt warm lips kissing her awake and woken up to shinning brown eyes and that radiating smile, her fears immediately faded.

This was real. It hadn't been a dream and Regina was staring at her with so much love and happiness. She hadn't seen her this happy in a really long time.

"I want to see Henry," she whispered, careful not to wake Willow slumbering on her chest. "And Neal. I'm also curious to see if your parents aged. Particularly Snow."

Emma laughed.

"I'm on it," she said kissing Regina and then getting up from the small bed they had squeezed onto. She pulled on her boots and jacket, and with the promise of coffee and one more kiss she grabbed her cell and headed out to get her family.

Regina spent the morning sleeping with Willow on her chest until brown eyes, a replica of her own fluttered open. She was so beautiful and Regina couldn't stop gazing at her as she breastfed her. Her nipples were painfully sore and it hurt the moment the baby latched on but it was worth it. The sight of her daughter even as she fed from her bosom was the most beautiful thing she has ever seen. This was a moment she thought she'd never be able to see.

Once Willow was done and had fallen back to sleep, Regina gently laid her back in her cradle. She needed to use the restroom and plus she wanted to freshen up. She called the nurse so they can watch Willow while she showered. Sometime during the night Snow had brought in a bag of clothes and necessities. She grabbed the bag and went into the bathroom.

She closed the door and turned, facing the mirror. She dropped her bag, a small gasp escaping her lips the moment she caught a glimpse of her reflection.

For the first time in five years, she was seeing herself.

She stepped up to the mirror, her hand shaking as she gently placed it upon the glass. She didn't look too different, just tired. She looked a little pale and she could see dark circles under her eyes. She was squinting, unused to the bright lights. She'd probably have to wear sunglasses for a while until her eyes fully adjusted.

"True love really is the most powerful magic of all," she whispered the words she had told Snow so many years ago in what now seemed as another lifetime. Somewhere along the way she had stopped believing and now it had given back her sight.

Minutes later she was clean and dressed in black leggings and Emma's hoodie, she was informed she'd be able to take Willow home today. She was ecstatic and suddenly couldn't wait to see her family. She couldn't wait to go outside and see the town. She was sitting on the bed with her bag packed and was holding Willow when she heard small footsteps rushing towards her room followed by Snow's warning of no running.

Neal.

The door flinged open and she watched in wonder as a small five year old child with blonde hair and green eyes (Emma's eyes) rushed in.

"Aunt Gina. Can you see me? Emma says you can. Is that the baby? How did it get out?"

She shook herself from her momentary state a shock at his fiery line of questions. She chuckled at his confusion at the facts of life concerning how a baby is born.

"Neal?" she asked, humoring him. "No, you can't be Neal. You see the last time I saw him he was a little tiny baby."

"Silly," he laughed. "I'm big now. I'm five!" He held up five fingers and climbed up onto the bed to see the baby.

"Is that Willow?" he asked just as Snow finally came in.

"Neal, sweetie what did I tell you about running?" she asked sternly and the child looked at her guiltily.

"Sorry mom," he said sounding scolded, but Snow's focus was now fixed on her former stepmother. Of course Emma had told them that Regina's vision was healed, but seeing it just made it all more real.

Regina was looking directly at her from where she sat on her bed with Willow in her arms and Neal sitting beside her. She was smiling brightly at the woman that had become a friend

"It's nice to see you Snow."

"Regina…" she whispered in awe, her eyes shining with unshed tears as she slowly approached her former stepmother. "It's true. You really can see."

"Yes," she whispered just as Emma came in.

"Ready to go?" she asked. "Henry and David are at the mansion making everyone breakfast."

"This should be interesting," Regina smiled, knowing full well of the mess both men were capable of when left to their own devices in the kitchen.

"They wanted to surprise you. I couldn't be mean," Emma protested. "Plus I want to surprise Henry. He's the only one who doesn't know you got your sight back."

Emma and Snow both saw the mischievous glint in those brown eyes.

"I do love making an entrance," the once Evil Queen claimed with a smile.

David met them at the foyer a minute after he saw Snow's text that they were pulling into the driveway. He held open the door as Neal and Snow set the bags on the floor. Emma was behind them, helping Regina inside with one arm and holding the car seat that held their precious sleeping baby girl in the other. She was weak and exhausted from the surgery but she looked happy.

He noticed the change in her face the moment she removed her sunglasses. The sun was still too bright for her. Emma was right. Regina could see, and she smiled brightly when he made eye contact with her for the first time in years.

"You've gotten a little wrinkly around the eyes there shepherd," she teased with that wicked grin. He didn't even have it in him to be annoyed by her snarkiness. Instead he did what he knew would annoy her the most and pulled her into a hug. Their family laughed as she pulled away in mock disgust.

"Nice to be seen by you too Regina," he said smugly and Regina gave him a genuine smile this time.

"Where's Henry," she asked more seriously this time as Emma took their daughter out of the car seat and cradled her against her chest.

"He's in the kitchen, washing dishes with his headphones on. He doesn't suspect a thing," David said before moving to Emma and Snow who were cooing at the now awake baby.

"How about we give this little one the grand tour," he said, wanting to give mother and son a moment alone.

"Yea! I'll lead," Neal exclaimed excitedly, making them laugh as he rushed into the the living room.

Emma kissed Regina on the cheek, her green eyes full of so much love. Emma didn't even have to tell her. She could see it.

She reached out, caressing her cheek before letting Emma and Willow be led away by their family.

She took a breath, her heart racing with excitement and so many other emotions as she headed to the kitchen and pushed open the door. Just as David had said, Henry was at the sink with his back turned to her. He had his headphones on, head bobbing to the music as he washed the dishes in warm soapy water.

She couldn't see his face, but her eyes welled up with tears at the sight of how tall he has gotten. He was taller than her. Of course she already knew this, but just seeing it made all more real that she had missed watching him grow into a young man.

She approached him.

"Henry?" she said softly, placing her hand his shoulder and he turned the moment he felt her reaching out. He took off his headphones the moment he looked into her eyes.

Something was different.

She was staring at him with tears streaming down her cheeks. He eyes shinned with so much love and… was she making direct eye contact?

"Mom?" he asked, reaching out and taking her face into his hands as he looked deep into her eyes. "Can you see me?"

That last questioned came out as a choked whisper. He knew the answer before she had nodded her head.

"Yes," she said softly and he pulled her into a hug. Tears were streaming down both of their faces. "You're so grown up now, my little prince."

"How?" he asked when they had finally pulled away.

"When Emma healed me, she tapped into both my and the baby's magic. She gave me back my sight."

"She always knew you would," he admitted. "Even after she stopped practicing her healing magic, she always knew somehow you'd get to see again."

Dinner that night was full of love and laughter as they joked and shared stories of their past and even of their days. It was as if it was a normal evening just like any other evening. The only difference being was the new bundle of joy as well as Regina getting her sight back. Both mother and daughter were the center of attention, everyone so happy of the miracle that had been bestowed on their family.

And when Snow and David took a sleepy Neal home and Henry had gone up to bed, Regina and Emma lied on their bed with their little one sleeping between them.

Regina couldn't stop herself from gazing at the sleeping bundle. She was so beautiful. So perfect. Everything she imagined she'd be. All her fears from the past 9 months of never being able to see her daughters face were all but in the past.

Now she could enjoy her future.
