Chapter 20 Remebering
It had now been 2 weeks since Hope's birth and Kate was on her way home with Humphrey who was making sure Garth wasn't following or anyone who could pose a threat making Kate nervous herself. "Humphrey it's okay nothings going to happen" Kate said trying to calm him down as Humphrey looked at her innocently "How do you know Kate it's not just you on the line anymore it's our daghuter too" Humphrey said strokeing her as Kate smiled nuzzleing her. "Trust me no ones going to attack us today" Kate said smirking as a Jumpjet flew over and headed towards their house. "Did you call him" Humphrey smiled as Kate nodded.
After around 5 minutes of driveing Kate and Humphrey arrived back at the house just as Ben was landing and getting out of the cockpit "Thanks for the air cover today Ben" Kate thanked as Ben nodded walking in with them to see Lilly sleeping on the sofa as Ben smiled walking over to her and picking her up "Be back in a minute guys" Ben informed as he carryied Lilly upstairs and put her in their bed kissing her softly shutting the door. "She okay Ben" Kate asked holding Hope as Ben nodded "Want a drink guys" Ben offered as they both nodded leaveing Ben to make the drinks. "Humphrey isnt she perfect" Kate said as Humphrey nodded and took her in his arms tearing up "Yeah she reminds me of my mom" Humphrey said as Kate hugged him as Humphrey started to cry softly giving Hope back as Kate took her upstairs before coming back down to comfort her husband once more.
Ben then came in with the drinks and put them on the table seeing his brother crying "Humphrey whats wrong" Ben asked hugging him as Humphrey held him tight "I wish mom and dad where here to see this" Humphrey stuttered as Ben hugged him "I know me too brother i miss them too" Ben replied leaveing Kate to look after himas he went outside to stand on the balcony and look into the air "We miss you guys wish you where still here Humphreys just had a baby girl takes after you mom" Ben said as Kate walked to the door to listen just as Lilly did the same "They called her Hope guess its hope that we make things right" Ben chuckled looking down "If your with god please talk to him we really do need a mirical" Ben sighed as Lilly walked behind him and put her arms round him "I know you miss them Ben no one should have to go though what you did" Lilly said softly as Ben nodded and kissed her "Go inside love i'll be their in a minute" Ben asked as Lilly did so join Kate as Ben then turned to the sky again.
As he was looking he saw something on the distance "Hmm" He thought and walked in to get his bioniculars and check it out when he looked though them he was shocked 5 squadrons of PAK-FA's where heading towards the house fully weponized and in the distance he saw a 3 platoons of tanks and foot soilders. "SHIT" Ben shouted running inside.
