Chapter 12: Home
Normal POV
Atem opened his eyes to see Yugi glaring at him.
So why am I bound to the floor unable to move or speak? Yugi asked through their link.
"Crap." Atem said, turning to the now stirring Malik. "Yugi wasn't released from your restraints Malik."
"Oh oops, I'm sorry Yugi." Malik said, running over to Yugi. "Eliberare!" As soon as Yugi was released Malik helped him up and then apologized again.
"It's fine." Yugi told him. "I just wasn't expecting to-" he was cut off when Malik suddenly pulled him into a tight embrace.
"I'm glad that you're back." Malik whispered.
"Me too." Ryou said coming up and hugging Yugi as well.
Atem and Marik looked at each other, shrugged, and then joined in the hug.
"Come on Bakura." Ryou teased. "You know you want to."
Bakura glared at them all, then he sighed and smiled, and to the groups surprise he joined them all in their ridiculous group hug.
"I love you guys." Yugi said and felt as if he had suddenly been on a very long trip and exhausting trip and now he was once again home with the people loved and cared for.

April 10th
6:28pm
It's been an entire week since Shadow took control and almost completely destroyed my life. Now that I remember who I am and the powers I possess, I am now helping lost souls find their way to where my father waits, with the help of my friends of course. It's going to take me awhile to not feel paranoid whenever I walk out the door and to gain the weight I lost, but now I have Yami and friends to help me through it all. Gravity my have forced me down to the ground, but I got back up and I may fall again every once in a while, but, hey, that's life and I wouldn't have any other way.
"Yugi," Atem said as he walked into the room and saw Yugi sitting on the bed writing. "Come on, we're going to miss the movie and Bakura will never let us hear the end of it."
"Alright," Yugi laughed at Atem's whining tone as he closed his journal. He got up and walked to where Atem was waiting in the door way and pulled him into an intense kiss, then pulled away when Atem tried to add more pressure to the kiss. He turned and walked away with a smirk leaving Atem staring after him in shock. "Well," Yugi said while looking over his shoulder, "are you coming?"
"Tease." Atem complained, but followed after Yugi with a smile on his lips.
Back in the bedroom, sitting on the bed was a plain black journal; to anyone who did not know what it was would think nothing remarkable about it, but the pages hid the story of Yugi and his fight with gravity.
