Rosie was on her way to meet her best friend a.k.a Nico. The only childhood friend she had been able to meet so far, in person after 2 years.

The last time Rosaline had seen Nico he was almost her height, a little pudgy, with military buzz cut, a brilliant smile and very very sweet. The Nicoshe saw right now was….360 degrees different from the Nico of her childhood.

For one, he was more quiet, more reserved, distant but he was still sweet. He smiled but laughed less often. When he did, though it was like a supernova exploding. Now instead of the slightly pudgy boy, gentlemanly and sweet boy she had met was this super hot, frightening man instead. He was good head taller than her, more lean and muscled. He definitely changed his fashion sense because now he used designer jackets, fit pants and boots. He had the taste for boots. In fact, he had picked many of Rosie's own boots.

The Nico she had known was a brilliant student she had always thought would end up being a CEO or lawyer or well something huge but the nico right now was studying to be a hairstylist. Under Teddy Charles one of the world's most famous hairstylist but he was also an editor in Simon and Shuster a famous publishing company. And Nico, was only 17. A year less than her.

Rosaline was pretty jealous of him. She had even told him so, he had laughed and ruffled her hair. Nico had changed and she had never bothered to ask because if he had changed, then he had changed. After all she had changed a lot mentally too.

But also physically which she wasn't completely aware of. When Nico had first seen he had been struck that she looked exactly like his long time best friend. She stood the same way, she talked the same way but she didn't smiled the same way. She didn't smile each smile of hers, full of brilliance, instead it was a smile that had struggled and that broke Nico's heart a little because he had passed through the struggles too. Though, Nico was sure Rosie had suffered more. Not only had she changed her name. her demeanor was less childish and more…mature. Or at least so it seemed at first sight. When she had loosened up with him, he had discovered she was the same idiotic girl that had penchant for bad jokes, silly stuff and running. Though, now she ran considerably faster. And she looked pretty hot too.

He remembered when he was in high school all the makes pointed out that she had the biggest breasts but she also had a pudgy tummy. Two years later, she still had her signature big bosom but now her stomach was… considerably flatter. They male population also complained she was way too loud, and over confident, that the way she walked was too masculine and that she said too many bad words (especially to the male population), that she talked back, that she shouted way too loud and that she wasn't scary when she threatened them (Nico knew that many of them found her pretty hot when she was angry).

The truth was that those males were unhappy because she wasn't an easy person. She was strong, sweet but not the type of girl that fooled around but then again, she hadn't been allowed to go out much so he wasn't quite sure. Now that he had gone partying with Rosie a couple of times he couldn't help but laugh at her refusing to go to the dance floor. He had learned that she still didn't know how to dance so he had made her ditch some of her karate training she did for dance classes. It hadn't been easy though, Rosie preferred her solo high intensity training in karate. Christ, that girl could break freaking blocks with her hands. Which was all good but she also needed to dance. Dancing like penguin wasn't going to help her attract anyone.

And then there was this pheromone that attracted all the lesbians and playboys in the clubs. Nico had no idea why, she just had it. It was probably because she was sweet, it made her look like an easy person. She also had knack for being honest, brutally honest. And nico had been victim of it more than once. Still, she was one of the only people he ever fully trusted. She hadn't even been surprised when he told her his secret. That he was gay. She had looked at him smirking and asked him.

"That's all?" and she had told him her story. By the end of Nico had to admit it was definitely more than he had to live through. And how she had survived through all of it was a mystery for Nico. Then he had told of her of his most recent struggle and she had told him about hers and he had very surprised.

Lysander Ainsworth was a guy he knew, alright. He was pretty famous for his odd hair and eyes that were natural. And his quiet and incredibly mysterious nature. Nico hoped he played for his team 'cause he would definitely give him his number anytime.

That is, if it weren't obvious that Rosie liked him. She wouldn't admit it or probably wasn't aware of it but Nico had already planned the whole thing to get things on fire 'cause he knew she would never in a million years do it herself no matter how bold and fearless she was because when it came to love she no experience whatsoever.

And in 2 days his plan was going to be set in motion.

Nico wasn't aware that his plan was going to clash with Rosalya and Alexy's plans or that their plans were going to take the most unexpected turn.

"I refuse." Was the first thing Rosie had said when she saw the outfit Nico had presented to her.

"But come one, it's only one night!" whined Nico.

"No, nico and don't insist this is way too…"

"Sexy?" supplied nico.

"Exactly!"

"But that's the idea, we're going clubing that night!" anger and annoyance were written all over Rosie's face and seeing this tactic wasn't going to work he decided to try another angle.

"Please rosie, it's a special day. I'm celebrating I'm finally single." He said in a sad voice that contradicted his words. Rosie's eyes softened and Nico made the mistake of grinning.

"No." she crossed her arms over her chest. Shoot too soon. thought nico.

"I promise to stay sober" said Nico and Rosie snorted. Yeah, like that was going to happen. The idea of Friday night was to get…well, wasn't it obvious? And the idea was to get her to participate too. But that, maybe wasn't going to happen.

Or maybe yes.

He could always make her drink some good old grape juice and she would…

Nico shook his head. He had never gotten someone drunk and he wasn't getting started now. The day Rosie would get drunk he would be there to film it, take care of her and take embarrassing pictures of her to take revenge on the pictures she took of him while he was drunk. Luckily for him she never, ever posted those of facebook, instgram or twitter. That would be disastrous. Never mind the problems it would bring him at work, the harassment he would receive from those pictures would be huge.

Still, Nico wasn't going to give up on that argument. She had to wear that sexy dress for the party. She had to change into those clothes when coming out her University and in front of her friends specifically Lysander and then he, Nico would be over-friendly towards Rosie and then he would make the boy jealous and Nico would analyze his reaction and see if his own guess was correct.

"Please?" he asked with wide puppy eyes and Rosie's eyes softened again. She sighed exasperated and buried her face in her hands.

Bingo! Thought Nico.

"You won't give up even if I say no, right?" she asked, her voice muffled because her hnds were over her mouth.

"Nope." said Nico cheerfully in great contrast to Rosie's defeated tone.

"Fine." She said abruptly. "But you have to promise me that we won't go clubbing for too long 2 hours max. and then we'll watch a movie." Nico nodded enthusiastically.

"excellent." He said clapping his hands together. "I think we should watch pride and prejudice." Rosaline groaned she had already watched the movie and she liked but…seeing it 10 times already wasn't so fascinating now, was it?

She muttered something intelligible probably in another language.

"Oh, come on! We'll have fun. We'll have spa day and eat lots of snacks!"

And we'll get your future boyfriend jealous. Nico didn't say it but it was quite implied, if only rosie had bothered to pay attention to his feature she would have known.
