By the light of the Moon

"Wait I can't leave home today." Inuyasha said to his father.
"And why is that?" he asked looking as Inuyasha.
"I… I just don't want to that's all." The pup said defensively.
"Pup that is not a real answer." The older demon told him.
"Yeah you've been acting weird all day what's up?" Koga asked looking over at his adoptive brother.
"Weird how Koga?" Inutaisho asked the wolf cub.
"When we were playing tag earlier and he couldn't catch run as fast as normal." He told his father.
"Shut up I didn't feel like playing tag." Inuyasha growled glaring at Koga.
"Are feeling alright son?" His father asked concern heavy in his voice.
"I'm he's just being an idiot like always." Inuyasha insisted still growling at Koga.
"Don't call me an idiot flea bag!" Koga yelled now glaring at the half dog demon.
"Your one to talk mange butt!" he yelled back pushing his brother.
Soon they both were one the ground fighting one another.
"Inuyasha Koga! Stop this right now!" the demon lord barked as he pulled them apart.
"Both of you knock off this foolishness at once." He said as they struggled in his grasp. "Stop this right now or both of you are in trouble."
This got them both to stop and he puts them both on the ground.
"Now tell me what's wrong Inuyasha." His father demanded looking down at the child.
Inuyasha say nothing this made Inutaisho growl at the small half demon. He wasn't going to let this going until he knew what was wrong with his son.
"I know something isn't right with you weren't using your full strength while Koga was." He said this made Inuyasha tensed up.
"Nothing's wrong with me!" Inuyasha shouted and ran into the house.
"Inuyasha get back here!"
Inutaisho went after him leaving Koga and Ah-Un alone in the afternoon sun.
"He is so dead." Koga said as his father left.
Inuyasha ran all over the castle looking for a place to hide from his Dad when came upon an empty room and ran into it. It looked like a training room of some kind but it was extremely cold and somehow getting colder. Just then he heard the sound of footsteps getting closer and hid in the corner.
"Inuyasha!"
"Stop this foolish and come out!" the angry dog demon yelled.
There was something off about his pup today and he wouldn't tell him what was wrong. Now that he thought about it Inuyasha's scent was weaker than normal as well. He needed to find him and soon if he was sick then he'd wanted to know sooner rather than later.
Inuyasha stayed put in room even as got colder and the footsteps grew more and more distance.
"No one can know." Inuyasha said as his body shivered more.
The sun was now begun to set and Inutaisho still hadn't found Inuyasha panic was starting to come where he could possibly be.
"My Lord I thought you were in the endurance hall?" servant asked as he bowed his head.
"What do you mean?" Inutaisho asked with a slight snarl.
"I…I saw the room you use to train to body was active the wind was quite harsh." However before he could say anything else his lord was gone.
When Inutaisho got to the door he opened it and saw Inuyasha shaking on the floor curled into a tight ball.
"Inuyasha! Are you alright!?" Inutaisho yelled as he wrapped him in his mokomoko to warm him up.
The only thing this he got out of him as a moan but that made the demon lord feel slightly better.
"Thank goodness." The demon general said as he carried his child out of the room.
Inutaisho carried Inuyasha back to his room and sets him down on the bed and wrapped him in a blanket.
He then leaves to start Inuyasha and himself a warm bath to take the chill from him.
Inuyasha slowly starts to come to and feels he's on something very soft. Inuyasha then hear his father coming from the connecting bathroom and hides himself under the blanket.
"Inuyasha are you up?" his father asked as he looked at the lump on his bed.
When he saw the ball move he knew he was awake.
"Inuyasha I know you're up come out right now." Inutaisho ordered his son.
When he saw no movement from his son when he goes over pokes the lump still nothing he then moves to pull the blanket back but Inuyasha speaks.
"Don't look."
"Inuyasha why don't you want me to see you?" He asked stopping his hand.
"Because."
"Pup because what?"
"Because of this." Inuyasha said as he came out of his hiding place and revealed his black haired self to the demon.
"Inuyasha are you a… Human?" Inutaisho asked as he looked at his child shocked.
Inuyasha nods and waits for the look of disgust on his face that every demon had for him.
"Why didn't you tell me that tonight was the night you turned human?" Inutaisho asked as he sat down next to his son understanding is earlier behavior.
"You you don't hate me now?" Inuyasha asked as he looked up at the older man's face.
"How could ever think such a thing pup, nothing could cause me to hate you." His father said "Now how about we both take a nice long bath then alright."
Then launched himself around his neck hugging him happy his father didn't hate his human form like other did. He then picks Inuyasha up and carried him over to the bathroom.
"This is great." Inuyasha said as the warm water pulled the remaining cold from his body.
"That it is. You do know you'll have apologize to Koga right?" Inutaisho as the water as he thought out his next move.
"Wait I don't have to tell about this right?" Inuyasha questioned the time when a half demon is human is their most guarded secret.
"No while just tell him you were feeling well." The older demon replied.
"Okay so I'm not in trouble for today?" Inuyasha said a little relieved sat in the waters.
"No you're in trouble hiding half day and not telling me why." Inutaisho said calmly smirking at his child's reaction.
Inuyasha sulked for the rest of their bath until his father called him to come out and dry off.
When they got back to the room Inuyasha is a towel his Dad looks for something for him to sleep in and is passed one of his father's robs.
"You can sleep in this for tonight." He said as he finished changing.
After they were both changed Inutaisho sat on the bed once more next to his pup.
"Please don't spank me Dad!" Inuyasha said giving him a pleading look that was getting to him.
Damn it why did he have to look sacred of him right now?
"Alright pup I'll cut a deal you can have it now or have it in the morning the choice is yours." Inutaisho all the while trying to hold his resolve.
"But your break my butt if you do it now." The half demon whined holding his behind he didn't like the idea of waiting for a spanking then he wouldn't be able to sleep.
The dog demon fought back the laughter as best he could but a small chuckle came out.
"Inuyasha I am not going to break your bottom that I can promise. Now what is your choice?" Inutaisho asked composing himself.
"Now." Inuyasha said looking like he was being sent to the gallows.
Inutaisho nodded and gently pulled him over his lap and placed a hand on his back. The old demon hand rises in the air and fall hard on Inuyasha bottom making him cry out.
He then stopped and Inuyasha hoped it was over but that was dashed when he felt the cool air hit bottom. This is when he started squirming to get free only to get another smack on his sit spots.
"Stop that." Inutaisho said sternly he didn't want to have to use more force than necessary. It was already tricky the first spank left a light red hand print on his currently human son.
Then next on had less force in it but still had his child yelping so he kept them at the force. Inuyasha tried to kick his legs but that end when he got three quick smacks on his thighs.
"Please stop!'
"Next time this happens what are you Inuyasha?"
"Dad stop!"
"Inuyasha what are you going to do?" Inutaisho said as smacked the child's bottom dead center.
"I tell you and not hid it!" Inuyasha sobbed.
"That's right now just make sure you remember this." Inutaisho then aim the rest of the swats for Inuyasha's sit spots and thighs.
"I'm sorry!" Inuyasha whined as he laid there taking the spanking.
The spanking soon ended with young half demon sob on his father's lap. His father then gathered sobbing the young child into his arms calming him down with a hug.
"Shh… Hush now puppy Daddy's got." Inutaisho calmed rubbing his back.
Before long Inuyasha had fallen asleep in the man's embrace and was set down in the bed next to him. Inutaisho smiled he really did look just his mother right now.
"Goodnight puppy." Inutaisho said falling asleep.

In the shrine of fox guardian was enjoying the short rest as he looked out at the vast lands before him. The grasses gently blow in the breeze and birds played happily in the air while the river ran along with many fish.
It had been his family's job for generations to protect this peace for all the inhabitants. Even the demons that lived in the neighboring lands knew better than to cause trouble in the place guarded by the sun fox.
As he closed his eyes he heard the unmistakable sound of lord of the west blows through wind.
