A journey down memory lane

When alone on the TARDIS Clara discovers a list of everyone the Doctor has met and travelled with, after he has been confronted he decides to make it up to her and decides on a journey down memory lane to visit the people from his past. To his unknown an adventure is slowly unravelling, one which will change his and all his friends lives forever. My first fanfic please review! X

14. Back to the video shop

Clara and the Doctor found the rest of the gang huddled inside Speedy's Sandwich Bar and Cafe sheltered away from the rain. They were all chatting loudly while eating sandwiches but that all stopped when Rose caught sight of Clara.
"What the hell happened to you too?" Rose asked, trying not to laugh at the Doctor's raggedy hair.
"I would like to ask the same thing to him?" Clara retaliated, nodding towards an embarrassed John.
"I called Rose and I um sort of got a bit the distracted." John mumbled before containing to eat his sandwich in the corner.
"I don't think he was the only one who got distracted..." Mickey commented looking the couple(Clara and the Doctor) up and down, making Clara turn red. This was followed by an awkward silence which was ended, thankfully, by Sarah Jane.
"Doctor did you find what you were looking for?" She asked.
"Um yeah. I, I think so." He hastily answered.
"Will you take us there then?" She continued, wanting to get out of the cafe as soon as possible.
"Yes!" He smiled wearily.
"Lets go then!" Martha intervened.
Thankfully the rain had stopped by the time they left the cafe and the sun had came out. The gang walked back to the Video Shop to find it still open, thankfully. Together they all filled inside to find it deserted with only shelves of old films and tapes as well as some huge stacks of DVDs.
"Oh I recognise this place" Martha gasped. "They've relocated but it's still the same old shop."
"What are you on about?" Rose asked confused.
"Well..." John started.
"Basically he went and got us stuck in 1969 WITHOUT the TARDIS." Martha glared at John and the Doctor.
"I apologised didn't I!?" The Doctor replied, not wanting to get in an argument.
"Yeah but.." Martha was cut off by the gasping of a woman. A pretty woman thought Clara. The woman hurried around the counter to display a pregnancy bump.
"You came back." She gasped, focusing on Martha and John. "Larry! They're back!" She shouted pulling Martha and John into a hug.

AN it's short but atleast I've updated after forever. Sorry about that btw. I'm going to try and finish this story soon as youre all probably very bored. Or confused. or both.
