"So are you going to introduce us to everyone Doctor?" The woman said once Larry had arrived.
"Actually I'm John, the doctors clone..."
"And I'm the doctor, I have this trick to cheat death. But my face changes." The doctor explained. "Hello Sally Sparrow." He beamed.
"It's Sally Nightingale now. Sally and Larry Nightingale." She put her arm round Larry.
"Well Sally Nightingale this is everyone. Clara Oswin Oswald, Martha and Mickey Smith, Sarah Jane Smith, and Rose and John Tyler-Smith." The doctor babbled. After everyone had said their hellos and had small talk they got down to business.
"I suspect you know why we're here then?" The Doctor asking seriously.
"Yes. She told us you'd arrive soon with a gang of people and ask about her. We tried to ask her more but she just kept repeating one word over and over. Spoilers." Larry explained.
"River." Clara whispered.
"Yes! Anyway she gave us a tape for you to watch and told us that we needed to write out the manuscript." Said Sally, "I'll show it you now."
Everyone huddled round the small tv screen and watched as the screen flickered to life showing a very sassy woman with vey big hair.
"River Song. We meet again." The doctor bemused.
"It's Professor River Song to you husband and I believe YOU haven't been answering my calls." Accused River. Her face suddenly changed from serious to flirty and happy as she said "Hello Sweeties, I see everyone is here." winking at the camera.
Jack whistled loudly. "Wow doctor you REALLY know how to pick your women." The doctor just glared at him.
"Anyway for all you know I could have met her before..." Jack continued.
"Hush Jack Spoilers! You can't ruin all my fun!" River replied.
"Hang on. Can she really hear us?" Sarah Jane asked.
"No Sarah I've got one of these!" River waved an old copy of the manuscript that Larry was busy writing.
"So you know exactly what we're going to say?" Rose quizzed.
"Yes." River smiled.
"Yeah Rose what we have here is a just a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey...stuff." John and River said at exactly the same time.
"Hey! I'm the only one who's allowed to say stuff like that! Spacey Wacey, Humany Wumany." The Doctor moaned. "Rivvver!"
"Oh shut up doctor I'm trying to help you here!" River snapped. "Sorry about that. The reason I am here is because the doctor needed or needs my help." She spoke more calmly.
"Yes but why?" Sally asked. Everyone turned to look at her, including River. "Sorry, I was just wondering"
"Well Sally, unfortunately that happens to be..."
"Spoilers." Chorused everyone.
"Hey you can't steal my lines!" River whined. "Anyway all I can tell you is that Amy and Rory Pond WILL be rescued. That's all I can say. It's up to you to figure out how. Because remember..."
"Foreknowledge is dangerous." Droned everyone.
"Honestly it's no fun if you say it like that! Oh the manuscript ends here from your end so I will see you later, or earlier. Here are the coordinates of where you can find me. Goodbye and Goodluck darlings. For now anyway." River blew a kiss before vanishing off the screen.
AN- i want to get this finished before the new year so I'm gonna try and update loads. Sorry if any of you were confused and had to reread the WHOLE fic again to refresh your memory.
