Team TARDIS has hastily arrived in Victorian London and it hadn't been long before the doctor had dragged them to knock on the doors of the Paternoster gang. As always Strax answered the door. He had suggested that a grenade battle to the death was necessary to 'welcome' the new guests and discover their strongest member but luckily Jenny arrived before anything could be clarified. Soon enough everyone was being hurried through to meet Madam Vastra.
"Has my eye sight gone weird or am I staring at a lizard woman..." Mickey whispered.
"For your information the correct term is Silurian. My name is Madam Vastra and I believe you have already met my wife Jenny and our friend Strax the Sontaran."
"So his idea of a 'cool' team is a Lizard lady, a Victorian maid and a bloody potato?" Rose muttered loud enough only Clara and Martha heard.
"Hello Ladies and potato man. Captain Jack Harkness." Jack winked.
"Jack stop it." The doctor and John said simultaneously.
"So Doctor why you here?" Jenny piped up.
"Well..." And then the Doctor told the story of Amy, Rory, River, the weeping angels, the reunion of team TARDIS and River's message.
~HALF AN HOUR LATER~
"And then we arrived here!" The doctor finished. Everyone else was either half asleep or had wandered off part why through the doctors story.
"That was a very...interesting and long retelling Doctor." Madam Vastra smiled. Turning to Jenny she whispered sternly "Never every ask him that question again."
"What weapons did you have in mind for this battle against the weeding angles? Grenades? Lasers? Oh I've recently acquired a new.." Strax was cut off by the doctor.
"Strax they're called 'weeping angels' and no weapons will be used. Now let's go find my wife!"
