MY OLD COMPUTER DIED DX So, I'm currently on my Grandma's. That is one of the reasons for slow updates. I've been really ill the last three months, and I've been to the doctor's about seven or eight times in that span, from migraines to mental illness. I'm very open about these sorts of things, so I'm not worried about telling. I'm sorry for not getting around to this. Clive also swears in this chapter, though it was used a lot in Britain back then, I study British history, since I am a Brit myself.

"I thought I heard voices up front. Nice to see you again Professor and, er…"

"Luke! The professor's apprentice!" He is always so light-hearted, it seems like he doesn't have a care in the world…

"Yes, yes, Luke, of course."

"Cogg," I started. "would you mind talking a bit about the wormhole and how it all started? I think it would help to get everyone on the same page."

"It'd be my pleasure." He said, starting off by speaking to Luke, then in general, about things such as when the Family came in and kicked him out of the shop. Then, answering several questions from the Professor, I decided to tell them about the part where I stepped in. Couldn't hurt.

"After a while, I caught wind of Cogg's situation. I'm sure it goes without saying, but Cogg isn't a part of the Family. In fact, the Family's been nothing but a source of trouble for poor Cogg."

"It sure sounds that way." Luke stated.

Carrying on with the story, I started concluding the story on my behalf. "Knowing that, I approached Cogg and Spring and explained my idea to them. After getting them on board with my idea, Cogg fired up the machine and helped get my message to you."

"And upon receiving your letter, my curiosity took myself and Luke on a journey that led us here. That's quite the plan you drummed up, Big Luke."

"Thank you…But it's about to get even more interesting."

"Oh?"

"Professor, with Cogg's help, we can send you and Little Luke to your own time. You'll also be able to ask Inspector Chelmey all the questions you want. But when you're done chatting, you will come back to put a stop to what's going on here, won't you?"

"Luke, you of all people should know the answer to that question. I keep my promise's and I intent to solve the problem here. It's what a gentleman would do."

"Thank you Professor. That was exactly the answer I was hoping for." Since the question, I had turned to a slightly dry tone, but now I knew he would carry on the storyline, I decided to warm it up a bit.

"Well, I wouldn't dream of leaving things here in this state. You said it yourself, Big Luke. The only one who can stop Hershel Layton is Hershel Layton himself." Well, at least stop Hershel 'Dimitri' Layton.

"Haha! Quite right. My apologies. I should never have doubted you." I smiled. Luckily, I had separated what I thought and what I showed into two different things, the smile on my face hiding what was actually going on in the thing between my two ears.

Then, as the two decided to start on their departure, I quickly stepped in. "I hope you'll understand if I stay here. I don't want to risk distorting the events of the past any more than necessary."

"I agree completely." Layton said. "Besides, the poor inspector's eyes might very well pop out of his head if I showed up with two Luke's."

"But just think about how fun it would be to see his reaction. Pity you can't come, Big Luke."

"OK, she's already to go." Cogg stepped in. "Let's get this show on the road!"

With this, I quickly left and excited the shop. I could see what was happening just as I was far enough to get a good view, and by this time, they had nearly gone back to the 'future'.

I knew what I had to do next. Taking the quickest route to Chinatown I knew, I felt my actual emotions creep back onto my face. It felt so strange to let my devilish smile finally sink into my face since I had held it back for so long. Stupid Layton and Luke.

As I climbed up the floors of the Pagoda to the one Dimitri would be sitting at, I made sure I took my time. I didn't have that much to do, since I had taken so much time in the actual planning. I only really needed to catch up with Dimitri, and since they had a lot more traveling than I did, I spared my time so I didn't lose my breath.

"Ah, seems as though you're actually slightly ahead of yourself now." Dimitri mused, sat at the desk he had placed there ready for when he took part in the plan.

"At least I have the time to spare."

"Good point, you'll probably need it at some point. It's like saving money, you still need to buy food and the basics of life when you're saving up for something big."

"I guess." Sometimes, Dimitri's morals really confused my, this was one of them.

Meanwhile, Celeste was sat down in a chair so her, Dimitri and I were at a right-angled triangle position, Celeste and myself making the line that made up the hypotenuse. However, sat in the corner of the room was Marina.

She looked completely pale and completely different to her normal self. I had to say, we actually inhabited a few traits when you thought about it, ambition, how we pushed ourselves away from those we loved to meet our own desires, and how we both acted like cocky bastards when really, we were just simple people who wanted to be better than we were, when really, we weren't. She had her head bent down and looked completely exhausted.

"Let's just say, somebody's curiosity got the better of her."

"So you drugged her up?!" I quickly said, realising why she was doing so. I mean, I hated her, but I was her guardian, he needed my permission before so.

"You were in the middle of 'other things'." Dimitri said, wrapping his fingers into each other. "Seems someone found Layton while you were busy."

"Still!"

"Clive, she's dangerous. If you want the past twelve years of work to go to waste, fine, but if you don't, you need her off the game board. She will slowly destroy everything. Get her out of here while she's not with it and never go near her again."

"So now you question what I do with my only alive relative?!" I said. Celeste looked like she really didn't want to be here, I can understand.

"Clive, I know what you need to do. I'm an expert on these things. Just get her the hell out of this, or one of you will have to die."

Suspense…Also, I have fixed the double chapter problem…I have only just noticed.
