A/N; So I lied…well not exactly…sort of. Look I went to tweak the story and I wrote the next few chapters for it that matched with the new stuff and it sucked. I mean worse than the deal Jolt got in Revenge of the Fallen, yeah it was that bad. So nothing has been changed which pisses me off because the history involved with the original story is massive and the whole lay out is again massive. The only other thing would have been to leave this as an abandoned story but I will continue for those that are reading it.
"What in hell hit me?" I groaned shaking my head trying to clear my vision. I tried to move but I could feel something biting into my skin. As my eyes started to focus I realized I was in a dimly lit room, lying prone on a metal slab. I tried to flare the light of my eyes but it didn't work. Squinting I could make out shadowed figures of arms and legs and weapons scatted in some type of order around the room. It gave me the creeps. Twisting my head I caught sight cables holding me down. "Well this is new?"
I flexed my muscles straining at the cables trying to make them give but I dropped back flat again. I flicked my right hand and began to focus my power into it. It began to glow blue then flicked out. Glaring at it I tried again with the same effect.
"Sorry that won't work here." A low gravelly voice said and I jerked my head towards the sound. In the doorway was something that made a chill run up my spine. There stood a mech with spikes adorned across his shoulders. I shook my head his outline matched the one Zeto (the oldest of us) talked about. As he came closer I could make out another body in his arms. A light flared on and I hissed jerking my head to the side. A clang of metal hitting metal echoed and I looked back.
"What the hell?" I growled low seeing Optimus lying on the table next to me. Cables shot out of his table securing him down. I looked up at the mech. His white and black face twisted in to a smirk as he disconnected Prime's axe before he lifted his head to look at me. "Who are you?" I snapped growling low.
He stepped away from Prime and loomed over me. I tried to shrink back as his red optics scanned over my body. "Name's Lockdown." He said putting a finger to my chin turning my head back and forth before looking down at my hand. "Now tell me can all humans do that or are you special?"
A snarled escaped as I snapped my teeth. They locked down on his one finger. He pulled back with a growl shaking his hand. Energon dripped from it and I spit what had fallen in my mouth at him.
"Vulgar little one, aren't you?" He said with a rough laugh wiping the mix of spit and energon off his chest plates. He grinned at me before gripping my right hand. "Now about those upgrades."
"I don't have upgrades, bolt brains." I blinked at my own cuss correction, defiantly been hanging around Sari too much. Lockdown never seemed to notice.
"Really?" He pulled my arm loose from the restraints and exposed my inner arm. His free hand transformed in to a saw. "Well I'll just take a look anyways." He brought the saw down across my arm and pain rushed through my body. I let out a scream before my world fell dark.
It was hazy and I felt numb. Something wasn't right I should be in pain, lots of it. What's that sound?
My phone?
That's right my phone rang and they told me there was a spike.
I went searching then…
Red filled the darkness around me.
That's right red lights. I tried to use my powers but something was wrong. Then a sickness; like vertigo. I couldn't stay on my feet.
"Angela."
That's not right no one knew my name.
"Angela you have to wake up."
I know that voice. I tried to open my mouth but nothing came out. I tried again and a third time but nothing was coming out. Something grabbed my shoulder and shook.
I sat up flinging myself away from my attacker. I flexed my arm for my powers and pain shot through it. I gasped and dropped to my knees.
"Angela. Are you alright?"
I lifted my eyes to look at Optimus. He looked exhausted and hurt. I turned my back to him. "Yeah I'll be fine Prime." I answered before looking down at my arm.
I had to resist the urge to flinch back. Lockdown had opened my arm with a wide gash and dug through it. Surveying the damage I chewed on my lip. I don't know if I can fix it myself. Taking off my black t-shirt I wrapped it around my arms covering the exposed area.
"Are you injured?" The voice was gentle and actually worried.
"Like I said Prime I'm fine." I said tying off my shirt and turning back to him in only my green tank top.
"That's good to here because we have to go now."
Jerking my head up I looked up to see Ratchet hustling out of another room. He lifted Prime who held out his hand. Scrambling into it I held on to his finger and Ratchet rushed up down the hall. We came to an open air lock and the wind pushed my hair back. I closed my eyes and held on tight as Ratchet led the jump. We were falling through the air as an explosion happened behind us. Chancing a glance I realized it was Lockdown's ship crashing into the river.
"This is going to be a rough landing." Ratchet called out as he activated his magnets to slow our fall.
It didn't in truth do more than make a slight cushion. They landed hard and rolled. I did the same as my injured arm gave out and I toppled out of Optimus's hand. Hitting the blacktop with a grunt I slowly sat up wincing as I pulled my arm in tight to my body. With my eyes clinched shut I bit down hard on my lip fighting back a cry.
"Angela." I opened my eyes to see Prowl kneeing in front of me. Worry was plastered across his face and he reached out towards me. I went to protest when he brushed my arm. I let a whimper slip out and pulled back from him. In a second I was off the cold ground and being cradled in his palms. "I will take you to the hospital."
"NO!" I snapped and looked at him. "I'll be fine Prowl just can you take me home." I couldn't go to the hospital. I would never walk out again. Prowl looked undecided but after a moment nodded and started to walk towards my home in Old Detroit.
"I don't think so!" The gruff medic called across to us. Prowl stopped dead and I let lose a slew of curses. "She's coming back to the base with us. I want to check her over."
"I'm…"
"Are you a medi-bot!?" He snapped pointing at me.
"Well no but…"
"Then you're coming back." He transformed and his back doors opened. "Load her in." He growled and Prowl did exactly what he said.
"Trader." I growled as I was set on the gurney. In truth I was slightly relived. I knew I would have done a hack job trying to fix the arm and having an actual robotic doctor to look over me wouldn't be too bad.
It wasn't long before we were back at the base and in the med-bay. Ratchet had placed me on a berth while he pointed to one for Prime. I jumped a little when I heard the door shut and lock. I looked at the white bot as he stood in front of me.
"Well let me see it." He said grumping at me.
"I need to tell you guys something first."
"You're not a full organic." Ratchet said leaning down starting to undo my make shift bandage. I stared at him as if he had two heads. He made a grunting sound. "If I didn't notice in the initial scan, I would have in the others. You do come around here a lot." He said holding up my arm.
"Wait she's not organic?" Optimus asked coming out of shock first.
"Not fully. Some type of Organic mechanical hybrid."
"Techno-organic." I corrected as the medi-bot studied my arm. "We're called Techno-organics."
"We, as in more than one?" Optimus asked. I looked up and nodded. His optics shuttered and then went offline and he dropped back onto the berth.
"Um. Ratchet." I said pointing towards the fallen leader. Ratchet raised his head for a moment scanned Optimus then went back to work. I blame all the stress Prime had today.
