Demi's POV

When I woke up, I heard the security alarms. What happened? I opened my eyes, and saw that I was the last one awake. "What...?" I trailed off, and pushed myself up. My head hurt like hell. I went to talk when a book fell on my foot. "Oww! What's going on? Is it an earthquake?" I asked as everything begun shaking. I ran into the lift upon realising what what was happening. The Gravity Weapon! I followed the crowd to the front of school, where I found William Todd Williams by, what I presumed, was the Gravity Weapon. It was shooting a red beam of light up at the sky, dragging the moon closer. That'd be why everything was shaking. I stood by Jamie, not knowing quite what to do. Tom was over by the Gravity weapon, attempting to reverse the effects, while my father helped him. Dan, Aneisha and Zoe were fighting the Dark Wizard and I decided to help them. I hit him on the arm, and he sent me backwards onto the floor. I bounced back up and tried again, hitting him in the face. As I went to go again, he grabbed Zoe, holding his staff against her neck. "I need to get to the safety of my mountain top resort." He said, "You know the one I built for those orphans? Then I can watch the end of the world!"

"Oh yeah, cause that's normal. Watching the apocalypse from the top of the Himalayas!" Jamie called.

"Shut up Jamie! Now is not the time for sarcasm!" David answered. Dan pulled out his fake sword, and said,

"Get your hands off of her!" When he realised that the sword was plastic, he threw it to the side saying, "Let's see how you do in a real fight." He put his fists up. The Dark Wizard laughed, and said, "Have you come to save your princess?" He then hit Dan in the chest with his staff, knocking him backwards.

"Right, Mr Wizard..." Aneisha begun, before joining Dan on the floor. He turned to look at me, and I entered my fighting position. I flipped back as he fired at me, knocking into Mr Flatley. I apologised quickly, before moving out of the way. I didn't want to be on the floor again. As I went to grab the staff, he kicked me, and sent me to join Aneisha and Dan on the floor yet again. He hit my father, as Jamie and David stepped forward. "You're gonna regret doing that Wizard." Jamie said, jumping on him, wrapping her arms around his neck. He hit her off, and shot at David. Finally, he turned to Tom, who still seemed to be struggling to return the moon to it's orbit.

"WAIT!" Dan yelled, returning to his feet, holding his sword. "You think you've won? You're wrong! You can put me in chains, but you will not defeat my spirit. You will not triumph this day, nor tomorrow! Good shall prevail!" Dan cried. The Wizard let go of Zoe, and aimed at Dan. Dan blocked it with his sword as the crowd began to cheer. As I got back up, I noticed the red beam began to flicker and eventually faded. We'd done it! Well, they'd done it, but I helped, kinda. "NO!" The Dark Wizard shouted, realising his plan had failed. "Oi!" Aneisha said, causing him to turn. "Sign this!" She then hit him in the face with a book, knocking him out. I took the staff from his hands and broke it over my knee, before going to help my father up. I flung my arms around him, and said, "I'm sorry. Maybe if I'd been of more help, we might have found him sooner." He shook his head and hugged me back. "Doesn't matter. We're both OK, that's what does matter." He replied, as I pulled away. I nodded, and smiled as Amanda ran over.

"Sissy! Did you see that? That was awesome!" She said.

"I did indeed. Did you not see my flips?" I asked.

"Yes. They weren't as cool as that boy with his sword!" She replied, before going back to David.

"Nice to know my sister thinks I'm cool, eh?" I joking said, noticing Dan and Zoe in the corner. They were hugging. Aww! I faintly smiled, as Byron began to sing, ruining their moment. "Oi Byron! Shut up!" Jamie snapped, taking his lute off him. I rolled my eyes, as Flatley stepped forward.

"Good job guys, but we've blown our cover." Aneisha said, as we all grouped together, Jamie and David included.

"I say, what a clever way to end Blade Con." Flatley said. Wait, what? He thought we were acting? "And who thought that Daniel Morgan would play the part of Luke Blade, saving the world!"

"Sorry, but if you were watching, you would have seen that it was Fred Grungle who saved the world." Tom said. Flatley nodded,

"Yes, yes. And what a marvellous performance from Mr Todd Williams! Bravo!" He said, clapping.

"Oh, you thought this was..." Zoe said, before Aneisha shut her up. The crowd applauded, as I faintly smiled. As they began to leave, I turned to Tom, and hugged him.

"Thank you. Without you, we'd be screwed." I whispered, pulling away.

"Just doing my job. Although, with gymnastic skills like that, we should totally sign you up for the school team." Tom joked.

"Hell no. That's all I can do. Don't think I'll get very far. Jamie on the other hand..." I trailed off, before lightly kissing him. "Never mind. Thank you my hero." I said, as he took my hand, and we entered the school together.
