AN: I don't own MI High, or anything else that you recognise. I just own Demi, Jamie, David, Amanda, Amy and Patterson.

Demi's POV

I absent-mindedly fiddled with my necklace as Tom spoke to the team. "Everyone online? Looking good." I looked at the heart-rates on the side of the screen, everyone looked fine. "We're at the first security intersection. 4m ahead along the air-con tube." Zoe replied.

"Hold it." Tom said, noticing that they were at the laser grid. "Laser Intruder Device. 5 second rotation. And this isn't the 'set off alarm' kind of laser, this is the 'cuts through bone in a millisecond' kind. Ok, here's what you do." All of a sudden, Zoe's dot moved, putting her past the laser grid. "Yeah, that." Dan's dot made it through the laser, shortly followed by Justin's. "There's got to be another way in." Aneisha said.

"I agree. Preferably one without lasers." Jamie added.

"The sewers are full because of the recent rains. So unless you can fly off the roof..." Tom trailed off.

"OK, fine, I get it!" Jamie interrupted, as her dot copied the others.

"It's the only way in and the only way out." Tom finished. We heard Aneisha sigh, and then her dot quickly moved.

"Can any of you smell burning?" Aneisha asked once she made it past.

"It's OK." Said Zoe, "Just a flesh wound, and the laser cauterised it. Come on."

"Wow, I would have cried if that was me." Aneisha said.

"So would I. Actually, I did get caught by a laser once. It burned the back of my neck." Jamie said.

"And then set her hair on fire." Justin added.

"Shut up Justin. We need to move." Jamie muttered, as the dots once again moved.

"There's 3 more security intersections coming up. Plus guards patrolling in the corridors, so be careful. Jamie, that means shut up." I said, as the dots left the air vents. "The guards use heat signatures to track movements throughout the prison. Tom and I will guide you through the corridors, as it's kinda like a maze." I added.

"Go through the door at the end." Tom said, staring at the map. "DNA recognition lock. I've reprogrammed it to Aneisha's DNA."

"Mine? How are you..." Aneisha began, before saying, "Ow!" The dots went through the door and to the left.

"OK, this is where it gets tricky." Tom said.

"It is not tricky enough already?" Jamie asked.

"What did I say about being quiet Jamie? Now, wait." I paused. After the guard's dot passed, I continued to speak, "Go! Run right. Then left."

"Then right again." Tom concluded. "Quickly!"

"Stop!" I said, spotting the dot of a guard about to walk into the corridor. "Go!" I feel like I'm operating traffic lights, seriously.

"Up the stairs!" Tom added.

"Stairs? There's stairs?" Jamie asked, sighing loudly as the dots obeyed our orders.

"And stop! And we're on level two!" Tom said.

"This is not one of your stupid games." Justin replied.

"Well that depends on where you're sitting doesn't it?" Tom answered.

"Shut up. In your stupid games, death isn't permanent. If you get any of us killed, I will kill you myself." Justin retorted.

"Guys, stop fighting. Now, you need to shut up! Stand still Jamie!" I interrupted.

"Why?" Jamie whispered.

"Arme Gonneson is coming." Tom replied.

"And who the hell is that?" Jamie whispered back.

"She runs the Helberg. Ex-special forces, ruthless and deadly." Tom answered." Even more so since she had an arm and a leg replaced with bionic implants."

"Looking forward to meeting her." Aneisha said.

"Me too. She sounds like a hell of a lot of fun." Jamie added.

"Give me a minute. I have an idea." Tom said, bringing up an image of what I guessed was Arme Gonneson's bionic foot. After hitting a few keys, Arme's dot moved off in the opposite direction. "Go!" Tom said, as the team's dots moved through the corridor. "End of the corridor, another DNA lock."

"Ow!" Aneisha cried yet again.

"That, my friends ,was some high performance, high tech Tomonotics." Tom said, smiling.

"I don't know what that means, but OK." Jamie said.

"Where's the cell?" Zoe asked.

"You're standing right outside it." Tom answered. "I can only open the door for 90 seconds, no more. Good luck." The dots entered the cell.

"Hi, we're here to..." Dan trailed off. "Where'd he go?" He said after a long pause.

"Look out!" Aneisha said. After a lot of noise, another voice was heard.

"They only sent five to kill me? Tell KORPS to send an army next time." I'm guessing that's our prisoner.

"We're not here to kill you, you SKAPULA psycho. We're MI9! Come and get me, remember?" Aneisha said.

"Prove it!" The Prisoner replied.

"How?" Zoe asked.

"Hyperia." He coldly stated. I've heard that name before.

"What is that, some kind of code?" Dan asked.

"You KORPS dogs!" The prisoner said.

"Wait! I know her! She was in my dad's team during the assault on KORPS. She sacrificed herself so that a missile wouldn't blow up London." I interrupted. "My dad told me about her."

"Demi's right. She's his sister!" Tom said, opening up her file. "Hyperia Von Hades. Ex-MI9 agent."

"Your sister was an MI9 agent?" Zoe asked.

"That must've been why KORPS thought you were a traitor." Dan said.

"Secrets and lies are truths of our world." The prisoner replied.

"I don't know what that means either." Jamie said.

"Your 90 seconds is nearly up, you need to get out of there." Tom interrupted. "Now!"

"Come on." Dan said, as the dots left the cell, just as the 90 seconds ended.

"Right, now to get out." I said, as Tom grabbed my arm, and pulled me out of the van.

"Tom and Demi out." He said into the communicator, before closing the computer.

"What's wrong?" I asked, as he lead me off.

"Someone's coming. We need to get back so Flatley doesn't get suspicious." He explained.

"Isn't that David's job?" I asked, as we spotted the group, still looking for the Barking Eagle. He didn't reply as we joined the group at the back. David spotted us, and walked over. "What's happened? Where's everyone else?" He asked.

"Someone was coming. We had to leave." Tom explained.

"Everyone else is still at the Helberg." I said. "They have Zoe, they'll be fine." David bit his lip and nodded. He glanced over his shoulder, and saw what looked like guards. He swore under his breath, and said, "We've gone to close to the Helberg. We're going to get arrested."

"What?" I asked, as the guards instructed us to follow them or else they'd shoot us. We obviously complied, and entered the prison. It was terrifying, just endless stretches of grey wall, with the odd air vent. I hope Jamie and the others are OK. A guard glared at me, and pushed me to get me to move faster. Tom clutched my hand, and kissed the side of my head. "You OK?" He asked. I nodded.

"Just slightly scared." I whispered back, as we stopped walking. There was a woman in front of us, who I presumed was Arme Goddeson. She was even more terrifying in real life. "We were not taking photographs of your secret prison!" Mr Flatley insisted.

"Oh? Then what were you taking photos of?" Arme asked. "Birds?"

"Yes actually." I said. The guard glared at me again, and said,

"Shut up girl! Let your leader talk! Or else I will be forced to use violence." Tom put his arm around my shoulders, and moved between me and the guard, attempting to protect me. "Silence!" Arme yelled. "You are spies!" As Mr Flatley went to speak, sirens sounded. David yet again swore, and whispered to me,

"They've noticed the prisoner's gone." I sighed, as a guard spoke,

"The Shadow Master has escaped!"

"What? This is your doing spy!" Arme said, pointing at Mr Flatley. As he went to argue, she continued, "You will never leave the Helberg." What? No way am I staying here!

"But we were looking for the Barking Eagle!" Mr Flatley insisted.

"No more talking! I want constant updates on the escape." Arme said into her walkie-talkie thing. "Take them away!"

"You've made a terrible mistake!" Mr Flatley said as the guards lead us to a tiny cramped cell. We were handed orange jumpsuits and instructed to change. I did so quickly, noticing that Dan and the team had joined us. Once I had changed, I was told to give the guards any possessions I had, and that included the necklace my father had given me. I refused, and then the guard got really angry. He put his hand on the necklace, and pulled it off, snapping it in half and throwing it in the corridor. As I went to hit him, Jamie pulled me back. "You're going to regret doing that!" I yelled, as the door shut and locked. I hit furiously at the door, swearing and screaming, demanding they give it back. They had just taken all I had left of my father. I felt someone grab me, and pull me towards them, muttering reassuring words. It took me a while to calm down, and then I realised it was David. "Dems, calm down." He seemed to be repeating, as I panted heavily. After seeing that I was calm, and not likely to hit anyone in the face at any moment, David let go and walked over to Jamie. Everyone was staring at me. No surprise really. I sighed, and put my head in my hands, curling up in the corner close to the door. I felt someone sit next to me and hug me. I looked up, and saw that it was Tom. I nuzzled into his chest, and sat in his lap. These jumpsuits were freezing, and Tom was so warm. He put his arms around me, and kissed the top of my head. "We're going to get out Demi. I promise." He whispered, as I drifted asleep.
