The meeting it seemed would have to be put on hold since a guard came stumbling in. All the adults at the table quickly stood.
Kagome rushed to the fallen guard, "What has happened and where are you hurt?"
The guard looked up at her, "He has attacked one of the villages my Lady. He said he would destroy one every day until you faced him."
Everyone knew who he meant without asking Kagome's eyes connected with Sesshomaru's for but a moment before Sesshomaru began issuing orders.
Everyone was shocked to hear him bellow, "JAKEN!"
Jaken quickly scurried into the room, "Yes my Lord what can this lowly one do for you?"
Sesshomaru looked to the fallen guard, "Summon the healer and quickly."
Jaken scurried off as fast as his short legs could carry him. Kagome was already checking over the guard's injuries they were quite extensive and she did not think he would make it. Once the healer arrived Kagome allowed her to take over his care and made her way to Sesshomaru's study Sesshomaru and Kouga where not far behind her.
Once inside Kagome turned to face them both, "The first thing we need to do is get rid of that bastard! I am sick and tired of him trying to ruin everyone's happiness."
Sesshomaru and Kouga agreed one hundred percent and told her so.
Kagome took a deep breath, "I think we should give him what he wants. He wants me to face him then so be it."
Sesshomaru growled, "That is not acceptable Kagome. I will not allow you to face him alone!"
Kagome smirked, "I never said I would be alone."
They both looked at her curiously Kagome grinned at them as she explained what they were going to do. Naraku would not know what hit him.
