XLIV.

When Kagome opened her eyes she was in a field of wildflowers.

Looking around she called out, "Hello is anyone there? Where am I?"

She heard a voice speak back to her, "Hello child I am pleased to finally meet you. You are inside the Shikon no Tama."

Kagome began to panic and wailed, "Inside the Shikon but why I completed it all that was left was my wish and then everything is supposed to be okay."

She felt a hand settle on her head and looked up into a pair of sapphire blue eyes just like hers.

She gasped, "I know you!"

The woman giggled, "That you do little one. I am pleased that you have completed your journey. There is no need for you to panic or be afraid. The reason you where brought here was to make your wish. So do you know what you want to wish for?"

Kagome sighed, "I thought I did know but now I am not so sure. Is there any way you could help me decided Midoriko?"

Midoriko gave her a soft sad smile, "That is something I am sorry to say I am not allowed to help you with. The only thing I can tell you is to follow your heart and you could never go wrong."

Kagome sighed and thought about what she should do. She took her time and considered all of her options and the pros and cons of the wish she was considering making.

She took a deep breath, "Alright Midoriko I am ready to make my wish."

Midoriko gave her a soft smile, "Are you sure Kagome? You have to be absolutely positive in what you want."

Kagome looked up into Midoriko's eyes hers filled with her determination and nodded her head. They both stood and Midoriko took Kagome's hands into hers as they faced each other.

Kagome took on more deep breath, "Shikon no Tama I wish…"
