AN: I don't own MI High, or anything else you recognise. I just own Demi, Jamie, Amy, Ben and Patterson.

Demi's POV

I was sat in the hallway of an MI9 prison, looking down at the floor. My mother apparently wanted to see me. Stella had hesitantly let me go and find out what she wanted, warning me to be careful. "Demietra London?" A voice called from the doorway. I glanced up and nodded at the guard. "That'd be me." I said, grabbing my bag and following the guard down the corridor. He unlocked the cell door, and I entered. Almost immediately, my mother looked up, hope in her eyes. "Demi! You came." She said, putting her hand out through the bars, and attempting to touch my face. "What do you want?" I coldly asked.

"I need to warn you. My employer. He will stop at nothing to get revenge for his mother. Demi, you might think you're safe here with Tom and your father, but you're really not. You need to go. Leave the country and take Harry with you. He'll protect you." She explained.

"Why should I believe you? You've lied plenty of other times." I said.

"You're gonna have to. Demi, please. I don't want him to have you. He'll hurt you far worse than I ever could." She responded.

"I can't. I told Harry I wanted to stay here."

"Then find him, and tell him you changed your mind." She said.

"I can't just leave! I promised Tom that I wouldn't."

"Demi, what's worse? You leaving and him getting a bit hurt, or you staying and him possibly dying?" Amy asked.

"Can you stop with the mind games for a second?" I said, running my hands through my hair. "Who's your employer?"

"Demi, I can't..." She trailed off.

"Tell me who your employer is!" I demanded.

"I can't! He'll kill me!" She cried. Well, she's either really afraid, or a very good actress. I can't tell which.

"Visiting time is over." The guard said, re-entering the room. I nodded, and went to leave.

"Demi, please, do as I say. Just for once." Amy called after me. I didn't reply, I just left, and began the walk home, her words echoing in my head.

"Demi? You OK?" Jamie's concerned voice asked, as we sat outside the school.

"I went to go and see Amy today." I answered, looking down.

"What? Why?" She asked.

"She wanted to warn me. Apparently her employer is after me."

"She was working for someone? Demi, this could be a serious threat!" Jamie said.

"You're not saying you believe her? This is Amy we're talking about for heaven's sake!"

"Yeah, but she was dangerous! Imagine how dangerous whoever she's working for could be! If she's telling the truth, who knows what they could do."

"Exactly, 'If'! She might be lying."

"What would she get out of that though?" Jamie questioned.

"I don't know! Messing with my head?" I replied. My phone going off, interrupted Jamie' response. "Sorry." I said, answering it. "Hello?"

"Demi? Now listen to me. I can tell you who my employer is, but you have to promise that I will be offered protection." Amy's voice said.

"Fine, whatever. Who is it?" I asked, putting it on speakerphone so Jamie could hear.

"I'm working for Ben Egan. Does that name sound familiar?" I nearly dropped the phone in shock.

"Who's that?" Jamie asked.

"Oh, Sanders is there." Amy said. "Well, Demi explain to your friend who Ben is."

"Ben was my first boyfriend. I gave him nearly everything, and he broke my heart. Why are you working for him?" I asked.

"Because he wanted to get revenge for his mother who was killed by MI9 agents. I told you it was dangerous for you to stay." Amy explained.

"Is there anyone who hasn't lied to me?" I murmured, before hanging up.

"Demi, you OK?" Jamie asked, as I put my head in my hands.

"Yeah." I said, managing not to cry. Was there anyone who wouldn't lie to me?

"I have to go. I'll see you later OK?" She said, hugging me and then walking off. I sighed, and looked back up, seeing Patterson across the road. I picked my bag and walked over to him, hugging him. "I told you coming with me was a good idea." He quietly said.

"Well, I regret saying no now." I answered.

"It's not too late. You can still come with me." Patterson replied.

"Please." I said, putting my bag on my back.

"Come on then. You not going to say goodbye?"

"No. I just wanna go. Start again, with no goodbyes." I replied. He nodded.

"You got it. You ready?" He asked, offering me his hand.

"Always." I replied, grabbing it, and running to the future. Little did I know that no matter how far I ran, Ben and Amy were just one step behind me, like a shadow, waiting for the right time to strike.

AN: And I'm going to end it there! So, sorry but this story is over. I couldn't think of anymore missions, so I decided to end it. Demi, Jamie and Patterson will be back for the sequel some time next year. My next story will be a 'Now You See Me' story, which hopefully will be shorter than this one! That should be posted some time tonight, or if not, tomorrow. I want to thank all my reviewers and followers, I'm glad you enjoyed this story. So, if you want to check out my new story, please do, and if not, I'll see you next year. Bye!
