A Note From the Author
Hey everyone!
For anyone who read and reviewed this story, I am so thankful for you! Without you guys I could never develop to be the writer I am today. 49,000 words later I can already see myself improving so much. Writing has always been a passion of mine but I've been so afraid to start, so now that I've finished my first fanfiction novel, I'm ready to move on to the next level: writing a sequel.
Yes, there will be a sequel to Atala's story. Actually, there's going to be three books in total. This next book is going to jump ahead to the Third Quarter Quell, and Katniss and Peeta will tie into the plotline.
The other thing about this series is that with the first book, I had a lot of direction. I mean, a girl in the Hunger Games has been written thousands of times before, so it was easy for me to think of it through a timeline. A girl in a Quarter Quell has been written about sometimes, but there's a lot more room for direction and development there. In my third and final addition to this series, though, it will be all completely original to me, something sort of "behind the scenes" of what Suzanne Collins wrote in her trilogy.
I hope any followers I have will stay with me and enjoy my next novel: The Quarter Quell.
