Dear The Originals,

Do you miss your lives as humans? I assume you all remember them, but . . . do you miss them? Or is life more enjoyable for you as a vampire?

Thank you for your time,

YoullJustHavetoDeal

Dear YoullJustHavetoDeal

There are aspects of both human nature and my human life that I frequently miss. Like everything in life both humanity and vampirism have both positives and negatives. As a vampire I am stronger, wiser more powerful, and more responsive among other traits, then I was as a human. However I have lived for a thousand years, watching as people I care about die around me, unable to settle in any given home for fear of exposure. I would never go back to my human life and I never could, I have more purpose as a vampire, although I wouldn't recommend this life for you or others who have another option. Is life more enjoyable as a vampire? Personally I believe it is, although life is as enjoyable as you choose to make it.

Does that answer your question?

Yours sincerely

You are kidding with this question aren't you? I can only assume you are. OF COURSE I DON"T MISS MY HUMAN LIFE! What is there to miss? I am an all-powerful hybrid now and there is nothing, NOTHING, on earth that could make me go back to the pathetic and weak human I was a thousand years ago.

Dear YoullJustHavetoDeal

Unlike my brothers, I miss everything about my human life. Life was so much easier back then, and I have lost so much in the process of becoming a vampire like the chance to fall in love with someone who loved me, to have children of my own, and grow old while watching my grandchildren grow up themselves. My own family completely fell apart after we turned whatever they may say. We used to be close, we loved each other, but being vampires and hybrids just tore us apart. Aspects of vampirism may be fun, but it's not worth it in the long run. You don't want this.

Yours Truly
