I believe thanks are in order for all the enduring complements at the beginning of this letter, I'm glad to be reminded that there are people out there who don't in fact hate me. As for the question of Damon and I being friends, it doesn't seem like a very likely scenario. Let me tell you that Damon's Rippah of a brother is far more entertaining and unfortunately Damon will only ever be second best. Regardless I generally don't respond very well to people who plot to kill me so a friendship with either of the Salvatore brothers is quite frankly out of the question. I'm not quite sure on what a 'ship' is aside from a large boat of course, but if you want Caroline and I to be together I would recommend you talk to her about it. She'll always be welcomed in the Quarter should she decide to come ;)
