Becker, Jonathan and Carlisle all have their eyes glued on me. Outside of the office, Edward pulls a book out of his bag and starts reading the poems out loud, just loud enough for Carlisle and I to hear.

"From childhood's hour I have not been as others were; I have not seen as others saw; I could not break my passions from a common spring."

I smirk, and convince myself that one more ass whooping would totally be worth seeing the shock on Jonathan's and Becker's face when I tell them exactly what I think of them. I'll let Jonathan know that he is an insensitive little prick whose family can't even afford a decent belt for the kid. And I can finally tell Becker all of the shit Rosalie, Edward and I say behind his back. He'll know that he's nothing but a disgusting control freak that is so jealous of a couple of teenagers that he'd go out of his way to try to catch them doing something wrong.

"From the same source I have not taken my sorrow; And Carlisle is serious when he says he'll bust your ass in the car." Edward says, adding his own line without skipping a beat or changing his volume. "My heart to joy at the same tone; and all I loved, I loved alone."

My eyes dart to the far wall where Edward stands on the other side. Carlisle's grip on my arm tightens, making me turn my attention back to the assholes in front of me. I image Edward in the hall, leaning against the wall. To the humans, he probably just looked like he was simply reading quietly to himself. They probably have no idea that he's saving my ass right now.

"Then- in my childhood, in the dawn of a most stormy life-, his patients are running thin. Apologize and make it good, was drawn of a most stormy life- was drawn from every depth of good and ill, the mystery which binds me still."

"I'm sorry for my involvement with the prank." I say. I glance over at Carlisle, and he gives me the slightest nod of approval. "That was poor judgement on my part, and I should not have taken part in such childish behavior."

A small smile tugs at the corners of Carlisle's lips. The principal nods and Jonathan just stares at me with a vacant expression. I shove my hand out to him.

"Are we all good, Jon?" I ask. He eyes me suspiciously, but after a few seconds he shakes my hand and smiles.

"Yeah. We're good."

"Very good, Emmett." Carlisle whispers to me.

Carlisle promises Becker that he will never see my face or any of us Cullen kids in his office again. Becker just gives him a short and bitter goodbye and demands Jonathan and I to class. Jonathan leaves first, then Carlisle follows me out. I go right to Edward, who looks exactly like I expected. He looks up, smirks at me and snaps his book shut.

"Thanks man." I say. We slap hands, and Carlisle chuckles behind us.

"What am I going to do with you boys?" He asks. He eyes Edward with a smile. "What do I always tell you about minding your own business?"

"Hey, I had to do what I had to do." Edward responds with a laugh. Carlisle claps his hands on our shoulders.

"Get to class, you two." He says. We both nod and respond with respectful 'yes sir's. As we turn around, Carlisle gives us one last warning. "And don't cause any trouble!"

Hey guys! So I finally got around to writing the last chapter of this story, but here it is! Hope you enjoyed it!
