A.N. Hey :D Please don't throw things at me! I know I am like super late with an update, and I don't really have an excuse this time other than the fact that I am lazy and just couldn't get my ass up and actually get on my computer. I've been on , but that was on my phone reading fanfiction.

P.S. If anyone wants to write me a Crutchie origin story that would be AMAZING! If you don't know who Crutchie is, you need to watch Newsies, like pronto ASAP!

Scout's POV

So, after I had gotten changed into a pair of skinny jeans, a semi-loose lime green t-shirt, and my black converse, I walked into the kitchen, stole some chocolate cake off of Two-bit's plate and wolfed down the rest of the eggs in the frying pan.

Johnny walked back in, apparently he had ran home to change. He stood behind me and ran his fingers gently through my hair, kissing the top of my head. Sodapop hopped through the kitchen trying to pull his jeans on as he ran out the door. Darry picked up both Soda's sneakers and Steve from the ground throwing them into the truck and revving up the truck. One last shout goodbye and they were gone.

I walked hand and hand into the living room with Johnny and we sat on the couch watching the funniest thing ever. Ponyboy was trying to teach Two-bit math! I bite my lip so hard it actually started to bleed I was trying not to laugh, and Johnny was no better. This is basically how the conversation went…

"Ok, so the answer is 2."

"Wrong, Two-bit, completely incorrect!"

"Why, 2 was the answer to the last question!"

"Yes, but not to this one!"

"Well, why not? That doesn't seem fair."

"What?"

"Well, 2 was the answer to the first question and the second question, so it has to be the answer to the third question!"

"That's not how it works, Two-bit!"

"This teacher screwing with me."

"Sure."

And with that, Pony practically ran out the door yelling he was going to the movies. I rolled my eyes.

"Two-bit, you're an idiot", Dally light up a cigarette.

"Am not", Two-bit whined like a baby.

"Yeah ya are." Two-bit huffed and pouted for a few minutes before Mickey came on and his face light up like a Christmas tree.

"Oh my God! Mickey's on!"

"Dear Lord, help me", Dally mumbled and Johnny snorted. The four of us basically sat there watching Mickey until Darry, Soda, and Steve came back.

"Hey we're home. Where's-"Darry was cut short when we heard a scream.

"Darry, Soda!"

"Pony", we all jumped up and ran out the door. The gang ran at top speed down the sidewalk for about a block until we saw Pony. He was pinned down underneath 5 socs with a knife held to his neck!

"Don't you dare touch my kid brother", Soda screamed jumping at the socs. The socs abandoned Pony and ran towards their car. The gang, except for Darry and Pony, chased the car halfway down the road before turning around and jogging back to Pony, well not without Dally flipping them off, of course.

"They pull a blade on you", Soda crouched down and looked at Ponyboy's neck, which was dripping a little blood.

"Yeah", Pony looked away sounding like he was about to cry.

"Hey", I bent down, "they ain't gonna hurt you no more." Pony rubbed his eyes real quick and nodded. Soda helped him up and we started walking back home.

"You never think." Darry was lecturing Pony, again, on responsibility, so of course I tuned him out. I turned to Dally.

"Hey Dddaaallllllyyy, can I have a piggyback ride?"

"No."

"Pppllleeeaaassseee, please, please, please, pl-"

"Fine."

"Yes!" I hopped onto his back and he grunted as he started walking.

"Damn, Darry, what are you feeding this child. She's so heavy."

"Am not", I stuck my tongue at the back of Dally's head and Johnny smiled and shook his head. We walked home and Dally made plans to go with Pony, Johnny, and myself to the movies, which I only half paid attention to. I was busy staring off into space, I didn't notice Darry calling my name for like 5 minutes.

"Darry wants you", Johnny shook my shoulder.

"Oh, right. Thanks Johnny." I leaned over and kissed him, it started to get a little more intense until-

"Scout!" I sighed.

"Coming! Bye Johnny." I walked inside and shut the door behind me.

A.N. LOL, that took forever to write. I'm going to try to finish this story tomorrow. I only have about 2 or 3 more chapters to go. I'm going to leave the ending up to you, so reviews are NOT OPTIONAL. Jk jk, but I really need feedback. Again sorry for the delay, but I kinda have a life. Summer vacation is coming which means I will have, like nothing to do for a lot of the time which means more updates for you guys!
