"You're asking that under the assumption that there needs to be someone else," Tom scolded lightly. He drank deeply from the container of tea he had brought.

"I know there is," Rodolphus shrugged. "Even if you don't like Bella, that doesn't stop you from having the option of four other young ladies to choose from. Any man would love to be in your spot—which also makes me wonder if you happen to like the same gender."

"I don't care about gender," Tom said. "And is it impossible to consider me asexual?"

Rodolphus looked at him. "I'm not a fool."
