It had been four weeks since Blaine got home from the hospital. He was doing much better. Singing in the morning again; he was going to classes again, not all of them, but some.

Blaine woke up next to Kurt and smiled. He loved watching Kurt sleep. He didn't get to do it often because Kurt was such an early riser, but when he could he took full advantage of it. Kurt's eyes were only half closed while he slept. He had been a little sick so his mouth was open and he was drooling just a little bit; Blaine smiled.

Blaine slid closer to Kurt and wrapped his body around Kurt's. Kurt's arms encompassed Blaine. Blaine laid there feeling Kurt's chest move up and down with every breath. Occasionally he kissed Kurt's chest then hold on tighter. Thinking of Kurt sitting vigil at his bedside; crying, hoping, praying that he would wake up made Blaine press himself against Kurt more. Blaine fell asleep on Kurt's chest stroking his t-shirt.

Blaine woke up about an hour and a half later. He looked at Kurt, who was still sleeping, and smiled. 'How did I get so lucky?' He thought to himself. 'I truly don't deserve a man as amazing and supportive as he is.' "I love you." He whispered to Kurt. Kurt let out a soft moan in his sleep and shifted slightly. Blaine smiled and kissed Kurt's chest one more time before he slid out of bed and headed to the kitchen.

He was in the kitchen cooking the bacon for breakfast; singing.

Oh no, did I get too close?
Oh, did I almost see what's really on the inside?
All your insecurities
All the dirty laundry
Never made me blink one time

Unconditional, unconditionally
I will love you unconditionally
There is no fear now
Let go and just be free
I will love you unconditionally

Kurt walked into the kitchen to Blaine singing to the bacon. "What are you doing?" Kurt laughed.

"I love bacon." Blaine smiled. "What would you like for breakfast, babe? Scrambled eggs?" Walking over and kissing Kurt.

"You know me so well." Kurt laughed sitting down at the table.

"No, no, no." Blaine said pulling Kurt to his feet. He began to sing again.

Come just as you are to me
Don't need apologies
Know that you are worthy
I'll take your bad days with your good
Walk through this storm I would
I'd do it all because I love you, I love you

He pulled Kurt in and they began to dance while he sang.

Unconditional, unconditionally
I will love you unconditionally
There is no fear now
Let go and just be free
I will love you unconditionally

So open up your heart and just let it begin
Open up your heart, and just let it begin
Open up your heart, and just let it begin
Open up your heart
Acceptance is the key to be
To be truly free
Will you do the same for me?

Unconditional, unconditionally
I will love you unconditionally
And there is no fear now
Let go and just be free
'Cause I will love you unconditionally (oh yeah)

I will love you

I will love you

I will love you unconditionally

Blaine stopped singing, but stood in the middle of the kitchen holding Kurt. "The amount of truth in that song; is uncanny, Kurt Hummel."

Kurt could feel the butterflies in his stomach again. Just like the night they first met. "You always bring back the butterflies, Blaine Anderson." They stood staring into each other's eyes. "Blaine, my eggs."

"Right!" Blaine quickly turned around and started to make their breakfast.

"You don't have any plans on Thursday right?" Kurt asked as Blaine put the eggs on plates.

"No. Why do you ask?" Blaine asked sitting down at the table.

"Since it's your birthday I want to do something special." Kurt said as he began to eat his breakfast.

"Kurt, you don't have to do anything." Blaine said. "I mean it's not like I can do much. I'm not even going to all my classes yet."

Kurt looked at Blaine eating his breakfast; looking down at his plate. "You go back to the doctor today, right?" He asked and Blaine nodded. "Well, you will be fine. He's going to clear you and you'll be able to go to class again. Do everything that we haven't been able to do for the last four weeks." Kurt laughed.

Blaine began to blush. "Kurt."

"No one's around." He said getting up from the table to take care of his dishes.

"Okay, you know just a dinner with you, Rachel, and Santana will be enough for a great birthday." Blaine said.

Kurt smiled and walked back to the table. "We'll see." He leaned down and kissed Blaine. "I've got to get to class and you have a doctor's appointment."

"I hate doctors." Blaine said following Kurt into the bedroom.

"Didn't you tell me at one point that you thought you wanted to be a doctor?" Kurt asked as he began to change his clothes.

"I said I wanted to be one not go to one." Blaine said pulling a pair of boxers from the dresser.

Kurt turned around. "Do you need me to go and hold your hand?"

"I don't need you to go." Blaine teased.

"You are almost 22 and you need someone to hold your hand at the doctor? Really, Blaine?" Kurt said pulling his shirt over his head.

"Fine. Fine. I will go alone." Blaine told him putting on his pants.

Kurt looked at Blaine and thought about when he was comatose. 'He's scared something may be wrong. That he's not yet fully recovered.' Kurt thought to himself. 'Maybe a little more sympathy. This morning was the first morning in two months that I woke up to him singing.' He walked around the bed and grabbed Blaine's waist from behind. "I might be able to get out of class early." He whispered in Blaine's ear. He didn't realize it was possible but he could feel Blaine smile. He kissed him on the cheek, "but if I'm going to leave early I should get there on time."

Blaine turned around. "Okay, love you." He kissed Kurt.

"Love you too. See you in a couple hours." Kurt said walking out the door.

Blaine finished getting around for the day. He had to run a few errands; get milk and eggs, they needed things for the bathroom. He got to the doctor's office around noon and Kurt was getting out of his cab just as Blaine was walking in the door.

After waiting for an hour in the waiting room Blaine and Kurt were sitting in the examination room. Kurt was relaxed while Blaine was anxious to know what the doctor knew. The thoughts flashing through his mind that he had weeks left of recovery, that something horrible went wrong. Kurt took Blaine's hand. "Hey, you're going to be fine."

With that the doctor walked into the room. "Mr. Anderson, all of your results are in. You have a clean bill of health. Enjoy." The doctor said to Blaine.

Blaine let out a huge sigh of relief and to his surprise so did Kurt. He squeezed Kurt's hand and put his forehead on his shoulder. He looked up at the doctor. "Thank you."

The doctor stood and headed towards the door. "Oh, the next time you're planning something romantic for your boyfriend maybe don't take a cab." He chuckled.

"Didn't plan on it." Blaine chuckled back.

The doctor gave them a smile and left the room. "I told you everything was going to be okay."

All of a sudden Blaine had the urge to take Kurt in the doctor's office. "You don't have another class today, do you?"

"No." He could tell what was on Blaine's mind; it was on his too. It had been weeks. "Calm down. Let's get out of here first."

The two of them calmly left the doctor's office and headed back to their apartment. They got into the elevator and before it stopped on their floor Blaine had attached his lips to Kurt's. The elevator door opened and Blaine pushed off the back wall and they began to shuffle towards the door. Kurt broke the connection to unlock and open the front door to their apartment then pulled Blaine into the apartment by his collar.

They got into the apartment and Blaine shut and locked the door. He walked over to Kurt and unbuttoned his shirt gently sliding it off his shoulders; caressing Kurt's arms as he did so. Kurt took Blaine's hand and led him into the bedroom. Blaine kicked the bedroom door shut behind him as Kurt tore his shirt off his body. Kurt slid his hands down Blaine's sides and back up his chest before taking hold of Blaine's face and bringing him in for a passionate kiss. While their tongues wrestled within their each other's mouths Blaine's hands wrestled with Kurt's belt buckle. Kurt's hands ran through Blaine's curly hair.

Without breaking contact they shuffled to the bed; Kurt backed onto the bed while Blaine followed him. Blaine stood back up, "What?" Kurt asked.

"Nothing. I just like looking at you sometimes." He said as Kurt slid to him.

Kurt sat on the edge of the bed with Blaine standing between his legs. "I like looking at you too." He said placing his hands on Blaine's hips.

Blaine caressed Kurt's face and brought his hands down Kurt's chest. Kurt slid his hands from where they were placed on Blaine's hips to unbutton his pants and slide them off of his body. Blaine got down on his knees and started to kiss Kurt's chest and undo his pants. Kurt laid down on the bed as Blaine guided his pants off of his body. Blaine laid on top of Kurt sliding his hands into Kurt's boxers while kissing down his body. Kurt moaned, "Blaine." Slipped out of his mouth.

"Mm-hmm?" He answered as Blaine got to the waist band of Kurt's boxers with his lips. As he took Kurt's boxers off his body his lips followed pressing down on Kurt's bare body every few seconds.

"Oh god, that feels so good." Kurt said in between deep breaths. "Blaine."

"Kurt." He responded making his way back to look Kurt in the eye as his hand glided up Kurt's side and into his hair.

Kurt pushed off the bed and rolled over on top of Blaine. He straddled him and stared at his abs. 'Perfect.' He thought to himself. He leaned in and began kissing Blaine's neck. Blaine's caressed Kurt's naked body.

Kurt and Blaine laid on the bed; Kurt with his head on Blaine's chest. He began to place light kisses on Blaine's hairless chest. Kurt had made his way back onto Blaine. And they heard a knock at the door. "We're not home." Kurt whispered to Blaine as he continued to kiss his chest.

"Kurt! Blaine!" They heard Rachel yell from the building hallway.

"Come on Hummel open up!" Santana shouted.

"Kurt, they're just gonna keep knocking." Blaine said.

"Fine." He said sliding back to his side of the bed. "We'll be right there."

They both threw on some pants and walked to the living room. Kurt opened the door. "What?"

"Nice way of greeting your friends."

"Well when you knocked on the door I was a little busy."

The girls looked at Kurt and noticed his hair was a mess then looked over at Blaine to see the same thing. "Oh. Sorry." Rachel said.

"Never mind. What's up?" Kurt asked.

"We were coming to get you for that thing." Santana nodded her head towards Blaine.

"I got it." Blaine said throwing his hands in the air and walking towards Kurt. He put his hand on Kurt's butt and leaned in, "We'll finish what you started later." He whispered in Kurt's ear before he gave his butt a light pat. "Ladies." Blaine said and left the room.

"Did you get the cake?" Kurt asked.

"Kurt it is one in the afternoon; and you two were having sex?" Santana asked.

"Look, it had been nearly two months, Santana. The doctor told him to stay away from vigorous activity while in recovery." Kurt said walking into the kitchen. "We both wanted him to get better and when the doctor cleared him this morning; well; we barely got back to the apartment."

The girls both looked at each other and laughed. "Wanky." Santana said.

"Did you get the cake?" Kurt asked again.

"Yes." Santana replied.

"And the guest list?" Kurt got nervous.

"All RSVP'd and are on their way." Rachel responded.

"Thank you guys for helping me with this." Kurt said.

"I just hope it doesn't all go terribly wrong like it did when we helped Blaine." Santana said taking a bagel out of the refrigerator.

"Santana." Kurt snapped. "Thank you guys for all your help. I think he's going to be really surprised. Of course I still don't know what to get him."

"Shhh." Rachel quickly said seeing Blaine appear in the doorway.

"Am I interrupting?" He asked.

"No, we're finished." Rachel said giving Kurt a wink. "We'll be out of here in just a second."

"Okay." Blaine gave Kurt a slight smile and went back to the bedroom.

"Get out." Kurt said to the girls ushering them out of the apartment. After he locked the door again he headed back to the bedroom. "Now where were we?" He said with a grin. He walked over to Blaine, lying on the bed, and began to crawl back on the bed over top of Blaine. "Right about here." He said kissing Blaine's bare chest.

"Kurt, I'm really enjoying this, but I overheard you with Rachel and Santana." Blaine said.

"Mm-hmm." Kurt said while still kissing Blaine.

"I told you not to throw a party."

"Who said I'm throwing a party?" Kurt asked taking his lips off of Blaine's chest to look him in the eye.

"Kurt, I know that's what you were talking about." Blaine started. "I heard the words cake and guest. We have walls, but that doesn't mean the apartment is soundproof."

Kurt slid off of Blaine and sat up next to him. "I'm not saying there is, but if there was a party what would you like me to do? Cancel it?"

"Not after you went through all that trouble."

"Blaine, throwing you a party for your birthday is not trouble. I'm not doing it because I feel like I have to, but because I want to and I love you." Kurt said to him. "So?" Kurt said getting up and straddling Blaine as he sat on the bed.

"Have the party. I will act surprised." Blaine said smiling.

"You won't have to act." Kurt said kissing him.

"No?" Blaine said between kisses.

"No."

Blaine pulled Kurt closer and flipped him over to his back; lying on top of him Blaine held Kurt's arms to the bed and he kissed down his body.

Thursday had come. Kurt spent all day over in Bushwick getting the loft ready for the party. He told Rachel and Santana Blaine found out about the party, but he didn't know that his old friends were going to be there.

Everyone had arrived at the party. The music was going, food was on the table and Kurt had left to get Blaine.

At their apartment Blaine was getting ready when Kurt walked in the front door. "You ready?"

"Almost!" Blaine yelled from the bedroom.

"Blaine." Kurt said as he walked back to the bedroom. Kurt walked into the room to see Blaine shirtless standing in the closet doorway. Kurt's breathing became shallow. "We've got to get going, babe." Kurt said trying not to stare at Blaine in fear of ripping off his clothes.

"To my birthday party."

"That's supposed to be a surprise."

"I know. I know." He said putting a shirt on and heading towards the door.

They made it back to Bushwick and opened the giant sliding door. "Surprise!" Came from every corner of the room.

Blaine was certainly surprised to see a ton of friends from Dalton. Wes and David came up to him and gave him the biggest hug. "What are you guys doing here?" Blaine exclaimed.

"Kurt called us. Found us on Facebook." Wes told him.

Across the room Blaine caught the eye of the one person that he hoped wasn't there. Sebastian Smythe. This guy had it bad for Blaine; they went out on a couple dates, but Sebastian was a little too 'free' for Blaine's taste. Sebastian walked over to Blaine and Kurt, "Hey, Blaine."

"Sebastian." Blaine said timidly. "How've you been?"

"Good. Can't believe I haven't talked to you since high school." Sebastian said with a flirty tone to his voice. This made Kurt perk up and pay close attention to Sebastian.

Kurt took Blaine's hand in his own making sure that Sebastian took notice of the relationship between them. "Oh, this is my boyfriend Kurt." Blaine said after Kurt took his hand. "This is Sebastian Smythe, we went…"

"Got it." Kurt said. "Nice to meet you." He offered his hand to Sebastian.

"You too." He smiled at Kurt and shook his hand.

The rest of the night instead of talking to his old friends and catching up about what had been going on the last few years he held on tight to Kurt's hand and staring at him. "I am the luckiest man in the world." He told Kurt near the end of the night.

"Why is that?" Kurt asked.

"I have you." He said kissing him. "And you're incredible."

As he was getting ready to leave Sebastian walked over to Blaine. "Thanks for inviting me. It was good to see you again Blaine." He said with a wink towards Blaine.

"You too Sebastian." Blaine said. Kurt began to stare Sebastian down after seeing him wink at Blaine.

Sebastian left the loft. "You two have a little history." Kurt said to Blaine after Sebastian left.

"A little." Blaine responded.

"You two date?"

"Sebastian? No." Blaine said with a chuckle. "I mean we went out on a couple of dates, but it wasn't exclusive or anything." Blaine explained to Kurt.

"Oh." Kurt said.

"Kurt, this is what happened with Sebastian." Blaine began. "He asked me out junior year. We went on two dates. Sebastian wasn't the call me your boyfriend type. He was actually a little bit of a whore to be honest." He continued. "And seeing him today; I really wasn't expecting, but it made me want to be close to you." He finished.

Kurt smiled. He had nothing to say to that. All he could think to do was kiss his wonderful boyfriend. "I love you. Just thought I'd let you know."

"That's good because I love you too." Blaine said kissing him again. "Come on let's go home. You still need to give me my present."

"But I already…oh!" Kurt smirked. "We're out of here Rachel and Santana!"

They both almost ran towards the door to head back to Manhattan.

To be continued…
