Blaine was about to start his last year of schooling. Kurt graduated and started auditioning for roles; everywhere. Blaine couldn't have been more proud of his boyfriend. He hadn't gotten anything for Kurt's graduation just yet. He wanted to do something that showed him just how amazing he is.

It only took him four months to figure out just the right gift. He recruited everyone close to Kurt to put this gift together. He spared no expense and didn't take 'no' for an answer.

It was coming up on a year of the men being together. An entire year. Nothing could take them down from the cloud they were sitting was running smoothly. They had gotten past the entire Sebastian thing and were ready to move on and grow closer. Which is exactly what Blaine intended on doing.

To surprise Kurt on their one year anniversary and for his graduation from NYADA; Blaine called all of his old friends and his parents and had them flown in from wherever they were.

Blaine, Rachel and Santana sat in the loft in Bushwick talking about the big event. "So who is coming and when, Blaine?"

"Everyone. Quinn, Puck, Mercedes. Mercedes was so excited she's going to be in New York on her tour that weekend and she just happens to have that night off." Blaine laughed. "Um, Tina will be in later today. His parent's won't be here until Saturday morning."

"I can't believe that you got all of them to come." Santana said.

"Well, when you offer to pay for transportation they tend to say 'yes'." Blaine chuckled looking down at his binder.

"Wait, how are you paying for transportation?" Rachel asked him.

"I talked to my mom. I told her what I wanted to do for Kurt and she told me that she would pay to have the Glee club come to New York." Blaine started. "She also told me her and my dad are getting divorced, but that's another story for another day."

"Your parents' are getting divorced? I'm so sorry." Rachel exclaimed.

"No big deal. It was coming. After what happened while I was in the hospital between the two of them. I'm not all that shocked. I'm happy about it actually. I might get to have an actual relationship with my mom." Blaine explained to the girls.

"Blaine, how the hell are you going to pull this off?" Santana asked.

"With your help."

"The last time we tried helping you; you ended up in a coma." Santana said.

"Well, this time we are going avoid any fetal car accidents." Blaine said with a smirk. "So, Tina, Quinn, and Brittany are all staying here right?"

"Brittany's staying with Mercedes at the Plaza." Rachel said timidly trying not to upset Santana.

"Alright. And the boys have hotel rooms; provided by my mother. And Burt and Carole can't stay the night and are leaving right after." Blaine said checking things off his list in his binder.

"What about day of?" Rachel asked. "Won't he see us when he walks in?"

"No, you're going to come in after Kurt and I sit down and order so he doesn't notice you guys." Blaine explained getting himself a bottle of water from the girls' refrigerator. "And after you all are done. I will go."

The three of them smiled at each other and went back to making sure everything was in order.

Even though Blaine didn't have a lot to do for that weekend he was still running around New York City to make sure that it was perfect. You've only got one shot at this Anderson; don't blow it.

That Friday, all of Kurt's friends had arrived from where they were located. They were all so excited. Blaine took them all for lunch while Kurt was at work. "I'm so happy that you were able to come out and support." Blaine said to the table.

"Are you kidding? We had to be here. All we've ever wanted was for Kurt to be happy." Mercedes said.

"Are you nervous?" Tina asked Blaine.

"Extremely. Luckily I've had Rachel and Santana to help me out." Rachel and Santana smiled at Blaine. "It's been great having you all here for the last few days. I'm glad I got to know all of you before I did this. I think Kurt would be really happy about it."

They all either took Blaine's hand or touched his arms to let him know he was right. "How are you going to get Kurt there?"

"That was the easiest part. I told him that we were going out for our one year anniversary and to finally really celebrate his graduation." Blaine chuckled.

"So did you get it?" Quinn asked Blaine.

"Yes. I have been carrying it around in my pocket for two weeks. Trying to hide something from Kurt is difficult. He deep cleans the apartment once every two days." Blaine said.

"So you just walk around with it?" Mike asked laughing.

"No, I put it in my coat pocket and he doesn't even look." Blaine stated proudly.

The afternoon began to turn into early evening and they group had to part ways. "Blaine, you should probably get home." Rachel said looking at her phone.

Blaine looked at the clock on his phone. "Crap! Yeah, I should." He said quickly getting up from the table. "It was great getting to know you guys better. And thanks for coming all the way out here. It really means a lot." He said and excused himself from the table.

The rest of the group sat for a few more minutes at the table talking then all had to get up and leave. Sam and Mercedes were left alone. "Wow, so this is exciting news?" Sam said timidly.

"Sam, not now." Mercedes said back.

"I've apologized so many times, Mercedes. Please I love you." Sam said taking her hands in his own.

"You don't need to be sorry. You technically didn't do anything wrong." She said to him.

"But I upset you and that's the last thing I wanted to do, Mercedes. I know that you want to and seeing Blaine act like this and talk about it doesn't help." He started. "But I just don't think that I'm ready now. And you said you wanted to wait until after you won your first Grammy."

"A person is allowed to change their mind, Sam." Mercedes scolded back. "I don't want to do this now. This weekend is about Kurt and Blaine." She said and got up and left leaving Sam alone at the table.

The next morning Blaine quietly snuck out of the apartment leaving a note. Good morning. Had to run an errand. I'll be home around noon. I love you. And left it in a frying pan that Kurt used every morning to make his eggs.

Blaine headed for JFK to pick up Burt and Carole Hummel. He stood in baggage claim and waited to see the Hummels'.He caught glimpse of Burt's NYADA ball cap and headed over to them. "Welcome back to New York." Blaine said enthusiastically.

Carole gave Blaine a huge hug. "It's so good to see you again." She said.

Burt gave Blaine a hearty hand shake then pulled him in for a hug. "Are you ready?" Burt asked him.

"I'm beyond ready. I've had to stop myself for about four days. I'm ready and nervous." Blaine stated.

"Let's go." Burt said motioning to the doors. The three of them walked out the doors and into the streets of New York City.

Blaine walked into his apartment after dropping Burt and Carole off at the same hotel the boys were staying at. "Kurt! Are you ready to go?" Blaine yelled setting his keys down in the key bowl next to the door.

"Almost!" Kurt yelled from the bedroom. Blaine walked into the room to see Kurt putting on his shirt. "What's up? You look nervous about something." Kurt noticed Blaine's facial expression.

"I'm fine. You look great. Ready to go?" Blaine asked stepping closer to Kurt.

"I think so. I can't believe we're celebrating one year tonight. Where does the time go?" Kurt said.

"Time flies when you're in love." Blaine said with a smirk.

"Is that the saying?"

"As far as I know. Come on." Blaine said inching his face closer to Kurt's neck.

"Or we could stay in?" Kurt said to Blaine.

"We can do that after dinner." Blaine said pulling Kurt towards the door.

"Okay. Okay, let's go." They left the apartment. Blaine clutched Kurt's hand as they left the building and started walking down the street headed for the karaoke bar where they met exactly one year ago.

They got to the bar and sat down exactly where they met. But this time Kurt didn't kick Blaine. Kurt thought he was recognizing faces in the crowd, but told himself it was his imagination. No, he was sure his father and step-mother were sitting in the corner. "Is that my dad?" He asked Blaine.

"Where?" Blaine asked with a half smile.

"It is! Why is my dad here?" He asked turning towards Blaine.

"He wanted to be here tonight. I'll tell you why a little later." Blaine said putting his hand on Kurt's thigh.

As the night went on Kurt began to recognize more and more of the audience. Quinn, Puck, Mike, Tina.

The announcer came over the PA and said "And now a special performance by the former group New Directions from Lima, Ohio. They will be singing 'Somebody to Love'. They want to dedicate this performance to their friends Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson."

Kurt looked at Blaine, who was smiling from ear to ear completely proud of himself. Kurt was so surprised when he saw his friends step up on to the stage.

Can.. (anybody find me somebody to love?)

Each morning I get up, I die a little
Can't barely stand on my feet
Take a look in the mirror and cry
Lord what you're doing to me
I have spent all my years in believing you
But I just can't get no relief, Lord!

Somebody, ooh somebody
Can anybody find me -
Somebody to love?

Somebody ooh somebody
Can anybody find me -
Somebody to love?

He works hard
Everyday

And I try and I try and I try
But everybody wants to put me down
They say I'm goin' crazy
They say I got a lot of water in my brain
I got no common sense
I got nobody left to believe

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

The group finished their song and stood on the stage smiling at Kurt and Blaine. Kurt looked at Blaine with tears in his eyes. He could almost tell by the look in Blaine's eyes what he was about to do. The former New Directions got off the stage and made room on the stage for Blaine.
