"So, what are you going to do about a costume for the ball?" Neville was randomly searching through an owl order catalog while Anisuke snacked on some chocolate that Dobby had popped up with a couple of minutes beforehand and Luna was looking through an obscure book on creatures, upside down. "I know that your mates will be your escorts, unlike the twenty girls that have asked so far today."

Anisuke pouted at the reminder and finished off the last bar with a sigh. "I was thinking that we would so with a Japanese theme, since all three of my mates are from there." A devilish grin crossed Anisuke's face as he thought about the fact that they would be the only ones going to the ball without a costume. "Sesshomaru is going as an inuyokai, Kouga is going as a wolf yokai, Naraku is going as a yokai warlord, and I am going as a black kitsune." Neville shot him a sly grin as a group of girls that had been eavesdropping started tittering.

"Such wonderful costumes, I'm sure that you'll make them very lifelike." Luna smiled dreamily and swayed gently. "I would love to pet your costume's ears, I bet they'll be soft."

Anisuke barely held back the snort and tapped his book lightly. "I'll make sure to remember to let you examine my costume's ears and tails so you can tell me if I did a good job on them."

"So when do we tell our little one that he's probably carrying little ones?" Kouga leaned back and twirled a quill in between his fingers as the others lounged back in chairs on the other side of the fireplace in their quarters. They were having a between classes meeting while their little one spent some time with his friends. "He's going through enough peanut butter and pineapple to supply a small army, not to mention the massive amount of chocolate that elf is supplying him with."

Naraku swirled a bit of firewhiskey in his glass before downing it in one swallow. "I think that the 'probably' is pretty much a definitely at this point. That elf has become Anisuke's shadow and I pity the idiot that does something that elf thinks might hurt him." Naraku sighed and put his empty glass on the table in front of him. "I say that we wait until after the ball so he doesn't work himself into a tizzy right before we have to deal with a ballroom full of humans with far too much alcohol available."

Anisuke was almost ready packing up his books so he could get to his next class when an eagle owl flew through one of the open windows and landing on the table with a distinct huff. It held its leg out to Anisuke with a glare that told him without words that he had two seconds to relieve it of the letter before he suffered. Neville and Luna both laughed as he hastily untied the letter and watched as the owl immediately launched itself out of the window with the glare of Madam Pince following in all the way out.

"Are you going to open that now?" Neville tilted his head to the side as he put the last of his books into his pack and slung it over his shoulder. "We have about fifteen minutes before we have to be in our next class, but three floors to get down."

Anisuke put the rest of his books away and put the letter on top of them before closing it and picking it up. "No, we have dinner afterwards so I can just read it while we eat."

Luna hummed and led the way out of the library. "Yes, it wouldn't do to read it before class, you wouldn't get anything out of your class if you did. At least at dinner the Nargles won't be able to distract you." She nodded before splitting away from the group to head downstairs to Divination while they headed down to Charms.

Anisuke managed to wait until the two minutes after Neville and he sat down at the table for dinner to open the letter with impatient hands.

Dear Anisuke,

We would first like to deeply apologize and beg for your forgiveness. When your mother died we felt it in our hearts and did not check the tapestry to make sure that you had survived past her death. We have avoided the room that the tapestry is in for nigh on a decade until the glow from the adding of new members of the family was bright enough to catch our attention from down the hallway. Please forgive us for not taking care of you, we hope that your childhood was filled with happiness.

You may not be aware of us, but we are your mother's parents. We left her with the Evan's to ensure that she was allowed to grow up as a normal child, without the danger that is everywhere within the world that we live in. If you could find it in your heart to forgive us, we would love the chance to get to know our grandson and our greatgrandchildren you carry.

Sincerely,

Yakima and Mori Ashura

Anisuke stared at the letter and couldn't get his mind to move past the thought of carrying their greatgrandchildren. He's pregnant, family tapestries are never wrong. Any new children appear as lines without names until they are given names at birth. His grandparents knew he was pregnant before he did. Anisuke felt his hand fall onto his still smooth stomach and he couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that there are children inside of him, growing and waiting to be born.

"Is something wrong?" Neville's voice was worried as he watched Anisuke read through the letter before going pale and resting his hand on his stomach.

"Yes, everything is fine, but I need to have a talk with my mates." Anisuke stood slowly before tucking the letter into the inside pocket of his robes and making his way up to the Head Table, ignoring the Headmaster entirely. "Sesshomaru, Naraku, Kouga, we need to retire to our rooms for a talk."

The Headmaster made sure to turn his twinkle up to full blast before butting in before any of them could stand up. "Now, now, my boy, surely whatever you need to talk to them about can wait until after dinner. Professors need to be present during dinner and it wouldn't do to have you abusing the fact that they are your potential bond mates to break important traditions and rules."

The cutlery on every table of the hall shook as Anisuke held onto his temper by the thinnest of threads. "There is no such rule in the Hogwart's Charter. Trelawney barely attended any meals in the Great Hall the entire time that she was employed here and Firenze takes his meals in his room as you have refused to have the table modified to fit. As bonded mates we are allowed to take all of our meals in our suite and have only chosen to take them in the Great Hall so I could spend time with my friends and they could make the students uncomfortable." Kouga smirked and nodded along. "I need to speak with my mates in the safety and privacy of our rooms and there is nothing in your rule book that says that that is not allowable. So if you would be so kind as to maintain silence as we sojourn to our rooms I would be most grateful."

Anisuke spun around on his heels and glided out of the room with his mates hot on his heels. He could practically feel the shock of most of the student body and the amusement coming off of Neville, Luna and his mates but his mind still spun around the letter he had just received from his grandparents. He barely noticed when they reached their rooms or when he sat in his favorite comfy chair with his mates seated around him. In fact, Kouga had to wave in his face for him to realize that they were worriedly waiting for him to tell them what was wrong.

"Sorry, it just threw me for a bit of a loop." Anisuke took a deep breath and almost jumped out of his skin when the empty coffee table was suddenly filled with all of the foods that he had been craving as well as his mates' favorite foods. Dobby's insistent feeding and knowledge of every craving suddenly made so much more sense. He filled a plate with anything that caught his eye and waited for his mates to do the same. "When I was in the library reading with Neville and Luna between classes I received a letter that I didn't open until dinner."

Anisuke pulled the letter out and placed it in Sesshomaru's hands before tucking into his dinner as all of his mates read the letter with raising eyebrows. "I'm sure that my reaction is understandable now? Family tapestries are never wrong. I am pregnant at fifteen while attending Hogwarts, with a Headmaster that wants me to be his weapon in war against Voldemort."
