Chapter 15: New Pets

"Wait, what?!" Jimmy cried when Casper told him the news.

"We're dating." Thatch repeated. Jimmy was shocked. He had no words for something as big as this.

"Oh, you're not unsupportive are you?" Casper asked, afraid of the answer.

"What? Are you kidding me?" Jimmy was shocked. "Of course I'm gonna be supportive. This is your lovelife after all."

Casper and Thatch smiled at Jimmy. They ran up to him and they did a group hug.

"I knew you would be supportive!" Casper said happily.

"I'm your best friend. Why wouldn't I be supportive?" Jimmy asked.

"Well, Casper's uncles aren't very supportive." Thatch explained. "Infact, they're so unsupportive, that Fatso threw me out the window and shut it behind me."

"Is that why you have scratches on you?" Jimmy asked.

"Yes, that's why."

"Well, at least one of my uncles are supportive." Casper said. "Uncle Stinky."

"Yeah, at least he's supportive." Thatch nodded.

"Hey guys!" Jimmy suddenly cried. "I got something that I think you guys might need to see." Jimmy ran to his closet and pulled out a box. He ran back to the ghost and the vampire and took the lid of the box off. They looked inside and saw a furry little round gray and white creature with a football sized head, chihuahua like ears, and big eyes. It also had small arms and legs.

"What is that thing?" Thatch stared at the creature.

"Well, I think it might be a mogwai." Jimmy told him.

"What gave you that idea?" Casper asked.

"MOGWAI!" The creature cried.

"That's what." Jimmy answered."It says it's creature name like a pokemon."

"Well, I'll tell you one thing." Thatch began. "It sure is cute."

"Yeah, it's adorable." Casper stared at the mogwai. "Are you gonna keep it?"

"I can't, my dad's allergic to fur." Jimmy explained. "And besides, I think this creature belongs in the Underworld with you guys."

"Why?" Thatch asked.

"This is why." Jimmy lifted his blinds and shined the light on the creature. When he did the creature shrieked and hid in the shadows. "Apparently, this creature is nocturnal and bright light is deadly to it." Jimmy explained.

"Then I guess it does belong in the Underworld." Casper and Thatch said together.

Thatch put the lid of the box back on. "I wonder what it's doing in the fleshy world."

"Who knows." Jimmy shrugged. "But I have another furry animal that I think Ra would like." Jimmy went back to the closet and pulled out another box. He took the lid off and they looked inside.

"A CAT!" Casper and Thatch both cried.

"Yeah. I heard Egyptians worship cats." Jimmy explained. "I thought Ra might like her because he's Egyptian." The cat was a gold color and had green eyes. She had long legs and a long tail that could be used as a whip if she wanted to.

"You'll take them, won't you?" Jimmy asked.

Casper and Thatch looked at each other. They could take the mogwai back to the Underworld and keep it as their own. And they could easily take the cat to Ra for him to keep and worship. They nodded and turned back to Jimmy.

"We'll take them." They said at the same time.

"You will, that's great." Jimmy smiled.

"We don't know much about mogwais, but we can look them up." Thatch said, holding the furry nocturnal creature.
