Chapter 19: A Royal Problem

Ra carried Golden Princess to her bed, gently setting her upon the soft silk. People laughed at Ra when they saw the cats 'bed' looked like a huge piramid with the top cut off. It had steps going to the top with a fine silk bed with fluffed pillows. Diamond covered water and food bowl beside the bed, so Golden Princess doesn't even have to move.

In truth Thatch and Casper regreted giving Ra the cat, seeing how Ra always bowed to it and treated it like a god, they DID treat cats like gods. But it was sad to see there friend even skipping class to take care of the cat.

Golden Princess wasn't Ra's cat, Ra was Golden Princess' pet! She had become so spoiled within the few days Ra had gotten her. She refused to walk without Ra clearing the ground before her, and didn't even bother to hunt mice, Ra had to get rid of any pest so Golden Princess wouldn't hiss at him.

It has been a week since Thatch regained his old friends. Often he went out with Thasper sense Dummy Girl has grown into a kind of 'aunt' for him. It left Casper to have time with his friends, but he really missed playing with Ra. Ra was always to busy with Golden Princess.

No one notices much, besides the ones close to Ra. But he hasn't slept in days, his bandages have became filthy from never having time to bathe, and they even started to unravel. If they were to come off, they would see a fleshy.

Ra showed Casper once, he had remove the bandages on a sleep over on Casper's house. Casper, Jimmy, and Ra were playing truth or dare, and Jimmy wanted to see what was under Ra's bandages.

One would think Ra would be horrid under the bandages, but in truth he was quite hansome. He had brown hair to match his eyes, tan skin from being outside when he was alive. His hair was messy and fell over his eyes slightly, but it was a rather nice look for Ra.

But that only made it worse, it'll be worse than when Wolfie turned into a fleshie! Ra didn't use secret passages like Wolfie did, and he probably won't even notice because he'll be to busy taking care of Golden Princess!

Casper kept trying to talk to Ra, but he never spoke back, for when he did Golden Princess will scratch him. Stupid Devil cat.

Casper sighed softly, watching Ra clean out Golden Princess' litter box while she slept. His bandages covered with dirt from the floor from his constant cleaning.

He just had to get rid of the cat. He had to!

Casper sighed and floated threw the wall, flying to Thatch. He remained out of the way for a moment, smiling at the sight he saw.

Dummy Girl was cuddling Thasper, both asleep. Mosshead was asleep besides Dummy Girl, smiling. They were such a cute couple. Thatch was the only one awake, he was putting a blanket over Slither since he's cold blooded and they're outside.

Casper watch for a moment, smiling. They were good friends it seems. After a moment Casper flew over to Thatch and hugged him.

"Oh, hey Casper." Thatch said happily hugging the ghost boy.

"Thatch, we have to get ride of Golden Princess." Casper went on and explained about how Ra has been, how he never talks, and even tells Thatch about Ra's bandages about to fall off.

"Thats terrible!" Thatch said, completely shocked. He noticed Ra was always too busy to talk, but he never thought that Ra would be in danger.

"Yeah, I know." Casper nodded. "We HAVE to get rid of her."

"But how? If we tell him the truth he'll think of us as bad friends." Thatch said to Casper. "I don't want to be a bad friend."

"I know you don't." Casper rested a hand on Thatch's shoulder. "None of us want to be a bad friend to Ra, but if we don't do something, Ra might be turned into stone because under his bandages is a FLESHY!"

"SSHHH!" Thatch warned, but it was too late. Casper's scream had woken up Thatch's friends.

"A fleshy?! Where?" Mosshead looked around.

"No guys, there's no fleshy here." Thatch reassured his friends.

"But, Casper said..." Slither started, but was cut off by Casper.

"Thatch, they're our friends. I don't see why they shouldn't know." Casper said to his bat-boy.

Thatch sighed and nodded.

"Guys. Nobody knows this but me, Mantha, Wolfie, and Thatch. But you're our friends too, so you should know too." Casper took a deep breath. "Under Ra's bandages, is a fleshy."

Slither, Mosshead, and Dummy Girl stared at Casper in shock.

"A fleshy? But if he's a mummy, shouldn't he be dead?" Dummy Girl asked.

"I know, it's confusing to all of us." Casper said to Thatch's friends. "None of us understand it. But the problem is, Ra is spoiling Golden Princess so much, that he barely has time for his friends, and his bandages are starting to unravel."

"OH NO!" Thatch's friends cried out.

"What do we do?" Dummy Girl asked. "If the Headmasters see Ra's true form, he'll be turned into stone."

"We have to get rid of Golden Princess." Casper told her.

Thatch and Casper went on explaing to Thatch's friends about how Golden Princess act.

Soon they all nodded, not sure what to do. But after a few minutes Slither got an idea.

"We need to get Ra away from Golden Princess, and once he's away take the cat, simple!" Slither said.

"Perfect!" Dummy Girl commented, nodding her head.
