Changes start out good chapter 15: Awakening.
Well Its probably to late to start my futuristic AU Idea but the worst that can happen Is people will not like It so I'm just gonna YOLO this one time and go with what I want to attempt. NOTE: This story Is now officially 100 years In the future making this story set In the year of 2115. Now on with the chapter.
"What should we do? If he comes here then this town Is going to be In chaos. We can't just move again. You even said It yourself that If Hiccup finds out It could ruin your guys relationship." Tiffany asked as she paced around the room, Sometime glancing at the TV screen.
"I'm going to tell Stoick remember." Astrid said as pulled a thin 7 Inch by 4inch frame of metal and a holographic screen appeared In the middle of the metal frame. Scrolling down the holographic screen she clicked on Stoick's name and added two words to a text and sent the message. Not knowing If her texts were being monitored by anyone else besides her phone company she wanted to make her message as short as possible.
"Alright now what?" Tiffany asked as Astrid got up and put on her coat and grabbed her purse and walked out the front door outside where It was snowing hard and you could barely see In front of you.
"Where are you going?" Tiffany asked as she to grabbed her coat and followed her friend outside.
"I'm going to see Hiccup." Astrid replied as she started to push her way through the thigh high snow.
"In this weather you have got to be kidding me?" Tiffany asked as she started to push her way through the deep snow to catch up with Astrid after shutting and locking the front door.
"I need to see him." Astrid yelled back and Tiffany just chuckled.
"You are on determined girl." Tiffany mumbled and pushed through the snow to catch up with her friend.

It took 2 hours to get through the snow and Into the hospital and then because of a few people who were In a snow accident It took another hour of waiting before they could sign In and get to Hiccups.
When Astrid walked Into Hiccups room she was surprised to see Fishlegs and the Twins sitting next to the rooms heater shivering.
"Why are you guys here!?" Astrid asked Fishlegs who turned around and sighed.
"W-W-We had to come b-b-back because of t-t-the cold weather." Fishlegs replied as he held his hands close to the heater In an attempt at warming up.
"Oh." Was all Astrid said as she walked over to Hiccups bed and laid down with him.
"How Is Hiccup?" Astrid asked as she looked at Hiccups more healthy looking face that had re gained some color and he wasn't as thin anymore.
"Doctor said he's doing better. There's a higher chance of Hiccup waking up and a higher chance he will make a quick recovery." Fishlegs replied then started to talk to the others about the medical technology advancements that were helping keep Hiccup health.
By the time Fishlegs was done talking everyone decided to get lunch at the cafeteria. While the food was good It couldn't compare to James Chinese cooking. Astrid had decided she was going to eat In Hiccups room so she left the others In the cafeteria and went back to Hiccups room and when she opened the door she was surprised to see Hiccup trying to sit up.
Immediately dropping her tray of food Astrid ran over to Hiccup and pushed him back on his back while hugging him and crying.
"As...trid...Why are you...crying?" Hiccup asked/mumbled to Astrid who kept hugging him.
"Because I'm glad you're ok." Astrid replied as she let go pushed the button on the controller to Hiccup's medical bed that was now positioning Itself Into an upright position.
Upon seeing the place where Hiccup's left foot would be Astrid looked up to Hiccup with more tears starting to fall from her cheeks.
"Astrid whats wrong?" Hiccup asked as he looked at her sad expression.
"Hiccup...How do I say this...You pushed me out of the way of a car and you got hit...The Impact shattered the bone In your leg a few Inches below the knee." Astrid said then watched Hiccup move the blankets to see that his foot and shin were not there anymore. Just a few Inches of his left shin remained.
Hiccup looked at his leg and smiled sadly and mumbled, "It was worth It." Then before Astrid could say anything she was pulled Into a kiss which she melted Into, Still confused as to what he meant.
"What was worth It?" Astrid asked when Hiccup let her go.
"My leg...Sure nothing will be the same but at least you're safe and didn't get hurt." Hiccup said with a small smile then It disappeared when Astrid punched his arm.
"You're an Idiot." Astrid said with sigh then she slumped back onto the bed.
"When can I get out of here?" Hiccup asked and Astrid just laughed at him.
"Well you haven't even been checked out by a doctor and you have to stay a few nights to be monitored and probably do a few more tests, So It'll be awhile."

It had been a few hours since Astrid had seen Hiccup. She had to wait with the others In the cafeteria while the doctors performed tests on Hiccup that she wasn't allowed to see and Astrid was getting annoyed at how long It was taking.
The twins were watching Videos about military weapons and new military advancements. Fishlegs was trying to explain how some of the stuff worked to the twins but they weren't getting It and Astrid and Tiffany were looking though booklet of prosthetics for Hiccup.
That was until Stoick sat down with them all of a sudden.
"Hi...Stoick." Astrid said as stoick looked at the others.
"Why are they here?" Stoick asked, Looking over to the twins and Fishlegs.
"Well Fishlegs has been Hiccup's friend for awhile now." Astrid replied and Stoick laughed a bit then sighed.
"I Know tha, But why are 'te twins here?" Stoick asked again In his thick accent that was hard to understand sometimes.
"They wanted to see how Hiccup was doing." Fishlegs replied and Stoick was still confused as to why they would want to see Hiccup, Last time he heard they had beat him up. Shaking that aside Stoick looked to Astrid and smiled.
"I hear Hiccup's awake now, how Is the lad?" Stoick asked happily and Astrid just sighed.
"He's doing fine but the doctors are still running tests." Astrid replied annoyed at how long It was taking. She seriously thought she might die In the next 5 minutes unless she saw Hiccup.
Changing the subject Stoick looked over to the the twins who were looking through different weapons on a holographic tablet screen
"Which on are you getting?" Tuffnut asked his sister as they scrolled down the pictures of various things. (A/N Since berk Is a small town and Stoick and the twins parents like to hunt, I'm going to replace swords, Daggers, Bows ETC. With guns, Well for the twins anyway. If that offends anyone or you aren't found of such weapons, Sorry but This Is probably gonna get even more weird and backwards then It already Is)
"I'm thinking the X1 rifle." Ruffnut replied as she looked at the specs and description.
"Lookin fer more hunting gear are ye?" Stoick asked and the twins Immediately turned their attention to the chief with excitement.
"Yeah. Our other hunting stuff got lost on our last trip so were buying replacements but were still not sure what to get." Tuffnut replied as he pulled out his own holographic tablet and went to a list of hunting things he was supposed to buy for himself and for their father and mother.
"Hmm, I would go with the bullets Insteada plasma." Stoick said as he looked at the Items on the list and saw that Instead of guns that use bullets they were plasma variants.
"Whats plasma?" The twins both asked and Stoick mentally face palmed.
"Ye to would never understand It even If It hit ye In tha head. Ta put It simply, Plasma Is like a laser but a wee bit different." Stoick tried to explain It but also not explain but only ended up confusing himself and the twins. Stoick didn't have much Knowledge about the science of plasma, He always left the explaining to Hiccup
"I have no Idea what you that means but It sounds awesome!" Tuffnut said as he went back to his tablet.
"Make sure ye get the weapons that use bullets, Plasma will make a mess out of anything ye shoot and yer father would not be happy." Stoick warned and then went back to listening to everyone else talking.
"When do you think Hiccup will be done?" Astrid asked Impatiently as she looked toward the doors that led to the corridor where Hiccup's room Is.
"Just be patient. Hiccup just woke up and It's been what? 3 or 4 weeks since he was awake." Tiffany replied to her Impatient friend who was now getting more pissed than annoyed at how long It was taking.
"Lets just go get dinner, It's been hours since we last ate anything, We can take Stoicks truck and go to James for Chinese food." Tiffany said suddenly which no one could disagree. It had been hours since they last ate anything and Stoicks truck could go through the thick snow easily.
"Alright." Astrid said with a sigh as everyone got up.

I know I probably just screwed up the story but I think It was worth It, I don't know how much longer I'm going to be writing but I hope Its for awhile and this would be my most major screw up of a story but I think It was worth It.
