Jeff the Killer

"Mmmm you make the nicest tea" he laughed and smiled at me. I just nodded and sipped at my own cup. "So, you find Smiley?" he asked. I nodded again and looked at him.

"What's wrong with you?" I widened my eyes to make my point. He sighed and looked down.

"There's this thing… I'm me, but I have something else living inside me, making me do those… Evil things… I promise, this is me right now, and I'm only saying this because I think it helps me have a chance of getting rid of this thing… But I think I love you… Like, I'm in love with you…" he blinked a few times as his gaze hit the floor. I widened my eyes and just stared at him. "Well… Say something…" He said, looking at me again.

"I just… Wow…" was all I could say. I chewed my lip and held my cup to my face, taking a sip and then trying my best to hide behind it. Nice going, Jeff.

"Oh…" he nodded and looked down again, "I'll just leave now…" I shook my head quickly and out the cup down, grabbing onto his arm.

"Don't jump out on me… Don't…" I looked into his eyes, chewing my lip nervously. "I feel the same…"

"Wh- Seriously?" he said and blinked, looking into my eyes.

"Yes, seriously… I wouldn't lie about something like that, Jack…"

He smiled wide and hugged me as tight as he could. I hugged back, smiling and resting my head on his shoulder. He pulled back and looked at me, a smile still on his face. Then, his eyes… They turned red. I widened my eyes and backed away from him slowly. "Aw… someone's getting all mushy and sweet! I don't like that…" he laughed and moved closer. I gulped and looked up at him, staring. I didn't like this side of Jack, no one bit.

"How the hell do I get rid of you?!" I yelled. He just cackled and shook his head.

"You think I'll just tell you how to get rid of me? Oh, Jeffrey, how you amuse me…" I whimpered a bit and ran out of the room. Stupid mistake, really. Before I knew it, he was in front of me again. "Transportation, little boy" he laughed loudly and grinned. I whimpered loudly and looked up at him.

"I don't know what to do…" I looked down and covered my face with my hands. He moved closer to me and tipped my chin up, making me look up at him.

"There's nothing you can do" he grinned and laughed loudly at me. "Aw… little Jeffrey's scared!"

"Yes, I am, do you fucking blame me?" I stared up at him, tears forming in my eyes. His eyes went back to normal and he pulled me close.

"Jeff, I'm so, so sorry…" he squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head, looking down and covering his face, sobbing quietly.

"Jack, it's fine…" I walked over to him and hugged him close to me, him wrapping his long arms around my waist, "I think I got rid of it..."

"You did?!" he looked up quickly and smiled.

"Well, has it ever just disappeared like that?" he shook his head then sat down.

"I guess not…" he smiled wide and hugged me as tight as he could. I laughed softly and hugged back. "C'mon, I have a dog to apologise to" he laughed.

We walked to Ben's house hand in hand. He laced our fingers together and smiled. We talked about random, stupid things and laughed. Had we really lifted his possession? Or was it just hiding somewhere inside of him? "You know what, Jeff?" I looked at him and smiled.

"Hm? What is it?" he giggled and disappeared before reappearing on my back, yelling in my ear as loud as he could.

"I REALLY FUCKING LOVE YOU!" I laughed and held him up, walking to Ben's door and knocking. He opened it and just stared at us before shrugging it off and letting us inside. We walked to the living room and sat on the sofa, waiting for Ben to join us. We heard someone walking and looked towards the door to the room, only to see Smiley limp in. Smiley walked over to me and smiled.

"Jeff, I missed you! You brought Jack with you?" he blinked and stared at me. I nodded and scratched his head.

"Yeah, he's came to say sorry… I mean, he couldn't exactly help it though…"

"How couldn't he-"

"Just listen to him, Smiley" he nodded and sat in front of Jack.

"Talk" Said Smiley. I watched and smiled as Jack told Smiley everything that had happened. Smiley nodded every few minutes and kept watching Jack. I stood up and walked to the kitchen to see Ben. We talked for a while about nothing in particular, drank some coffee then walked back to the living room.

Later that night, Jack, Smiley and I decided it was time to go home. We stood up, got our things and said our goodbyes to Ben, thanking him for taking care of Smiley. I picked up Smiley, as he was still limping, and carried him back home. We walked in silence. Not the bad kind of silence, but nice and calm. We kept walking until we got to our house. We stepped inside and sat in the living room, Jack sat beside me and Smiley in my lap. I smiled, almost regretting what I said next.

"It's like we're a little family…" I smiled then widened my eyes. "I mean…"

"We are, aren't we?" Jack smiled over at me as he replied. I smiled softly and rested my head on his shoulder, watching Smiley climb off my lap and sit between us. He smiled and rested his head on my lap, asking me to scratch it for him. I smiled and scratched my dog's head as the three of us just sat there in a comfortable silence. Jack looked at me and smiled. "Hey, Jeff, you want some Peppermint tea?" he asked and kissed the top of my head. I nodded, said 'please' then continued to scratch Smiley's head. He smiled and nuzzled my hand as I waited for Jack to return.

About an hour later, we all decided to go to bed. Jack went to his room, and Smiley and I to our room. I lay on my bed with the biggest smile I can remember on my face. Smiley lay beside me and cuddled up to me. "Jack's back to normal... That's gooood" he laughed and yawned before resting his paw on my chest. I laughed softly then did my usual bed time routine of staring at the ceiling until I eventually fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up to Smiley snoring as loud as he could in my ear. I groaned and walked downstairs, being careful to not disturb Smiley. I sniffed up and smiled. Someone had made pancakes. I walked into the kitchen and saw Eyeless Jack cooking. "Moooorning, Jack!" I laughed and sat on the bench beside him. He waved in return then put the pancakes on a plate. "Where's other Jack?" he shrugged then pointed in the direction of his room. "Why aren't you talking?" he looked at me and shook his head quickly, looking scared. "C'mon, you can tell me..." he got a piece of paper and a pen, scrawling 'I ACTUALLY can't talk. Okay?' I chewed my lip and stared at him. "How? What happened?" he wrote 'some guy called Zalgo took it…' I just stared. Zalgo? I decided to leave him alone for a while. He handed the plate of pancakes to me before writing, 'They're for Jack and you'. He smiled softly then shooed me out of the room.

I sat on the sofa and ate a few of the pancakes before Jack walked in. He smiled at me then sat beside me. "Hey, Jeff!"

"Hey Jack," I passed the plate to him, "Pancakes! Other Jack made them" he laughed and ate a few. I laughed softly as he ate them, him making faces as he munched on them. "You really like his pancakes, don't you?" he nodded and smiled as wide as he could. "So, Jack, do you know anything about this guy called Zalgo? Like, anything at all?" he blinked a few times then slowly turned his head to face me, his eyes as wide as saucers.

"Um… Is there a reason you want to know about Zalgo?" was all he said. I nodded and chewed on my lip.

"He stole Eyeless Jack's voice… like, he genuinely cannot talk…"

"Well," Jack said, "Zalgo is… Unconventional, to say the least. He works in weird ways, for instance, he takes control of children's cartoons and changes them into the stuff of nightmares! What he's doing with Eyeless' voice, I have no idea…" he looked at his pancakes then put them to one side. "Just, whatever you do, you can NOT make him mad, or else, in short, you're fucked!" he turned on the sofa so he was facing me, signalling for me to do the same. I turned to face him.

"So… How do you know all of this?"

"It was him that was making me do all of that crazy stuff… and with him possessing me, I could see inside his mind."

"How did he manage to possess you?"

"I invoked him" was all he said. Why would he invoke someone like Zalgo? I just stared at him.

"And why in the fuck did you do that?" he sighed and looked down, tracing the light patterns on his jeans.

"I wanted to know what it was like to be someone else… I hated being me, I hated it! But invoking him made me realise how much I love you… So, really, you should be thanking him"

"Well… any ideas on how to get Jack's voice back?"

"Jack needs to invoke him"

"He what?!" I yelled. Then started the argument, and trust me, arguments between us 'Creepypasta's', not nice. I think we stabbed each other at least seven times each. And then we agreed. "Fine! I'll make him invoke Zalgo, but as long as you know how to get rid of him without him having to confess his undying love to someone"

"I do, now c'mon!" and so we went to help Eyeless Jack invoke Zalgo. I could see this being fun.
