Chapter 41

(I do not own Twilight or Supernatural. Please read and review.)

Meanwhile in Heaven…

"Michael!" Castiel hollers out.

Michael swiftly turns. He nods as the battle amongst the angels had broken out. He and Castiel rush over and try to put a stop to it. Only to end up in the middle... Castiel could hear his wife calling to him. However, he couldn't answer. He heard the distress in her voice. He tried his hardest to concentrate on the fight before him. He was also without his dagger. Making him go about this hand to hand combat style.

"STOP THIS AT ONCE!" Ezekiel demanded as he ran up on the battle.

Castiel and Michael turned.

"He will cast each of us out; if this continues! We are brothers of the Lord! What are you doing?!"

"How come he only speaks to you?!" One of the angels scoff.

"Yes aren't we all fighting for his cause?!"

"You call this fighting under his cause!" Ezekiel erupts furiously.

"LOOK AT YOURSELVES!"

"Since when are you his favorite?"
"I'm NOT! I just happen to still have faith! What is your purpose? Each of you!"

"Ezekiel is right… this right here shouldn't be taking place." Michael agrees.

Ezekiel nods towards Michael. However, he looks to Castiel oddly.

"What are you doing here brother?"

"He was forced to return by Raphael."
"Raphael?" Ezekiel questions confused.

Ezekiel looks to Castiel with great concern.

"He can't be here! His wife as we speak is in great danger! She needs his protection!"

"She carries the abomination."

Castiel snaps a look towards one of the other angels.

"You hath better watch your tongue!" Michael commands.

"It's true!" Another angel utters.

"She carries no such thing! The child is MINE!" Castiel says with gritted teeth.

"Raphael was right to try and end her existence."

"WHAT?!" Michael demands grabbing the angel by the throat.

"That is my flesh and blood you speak of! Castiel's wife, you have some respect!"

"NO!" Ezekiel yells as another battle takes place.

Before, it was over the Lord's silence. Now it was over the child of Castiel. Ezekiel looked to Michael and Castiel with fully startled. He knew what was to come if the continued. The Lord had already spoken of this very thing.

"Please you mustn't!" Ezekiel threw himself in the middle

"NO!" Castiel shouted as Ezekiel took the hits.

Castiel looked around as the angels wings began to rip to shreds. Feathers flew within the battlegrounds of Heaven. Millions and millions of feathers filled the area around them. In the air and below. He and Michael fell to their knees. The agony coursed through them. Every angel covered their ears. Tears of blood streamed down their faces. Their wings continued to be ripped apart.

"FIND MY SISTER! PLEASE CASTIEL! YOU CANNOT ALLOW HER TO DIE! NOR CAN YOU ALLOW RAPHAEL TO GET HIS HANDS ON HER!"

Castiel's eyes widen as the white nothingness beneath them; turn into swirling dark clouds. Lightening scattered beneath their feet now. He and Michael locked eyes once more. Just before the angels began to fall. Each with their grace still intact. However, now without their wings. They had been exiled from the gates of Heaven. Not a single angel remained. All that remained was God and the souls; that had earned their way to the pearly gates. Castiel shut his eyes as he plummeted down to Earth. Panic struck within his heart.

Bella was standing at the register of the hotel restaurant. She was still pissed off about Dean and Bobby; heading on out without her and Jo. She'd just found the note a couple hours ago. She steps outside to see Jo talking to a tall dark haired man with gold wire frame glasses. His skin tone was copper as though he'd a nice tan going. He looked to be slightly older maybe around his late 30s early 40s? He immediately locked onto Bella with a smile.

"Ah, one of the legends."

He does a slight bow.

"An honor… I think…" He softly laughs.

Bella looks to Jo oddly. Jo shrugs looking confused herself.

"Legend?"

"Well not quite yet of course!"

He narrows his eyes upon Bella.

"Do you know who I am?"

"Fraid not." She says with a shrug.

"I'll give you a little hint. I've got three other siblings. We're all awaiting a certain event; that seems to be around the corner actually. That and you want something from me…" He flashes her the ring upon his right index finger.

"A beaut isn't it?"

Bella takes in a breath.

"Well you're not Death obviously. Certainly, not Famine…"

"Hmm… I've been a few places of importance such as Germany." He hints with a wink.

"War…"

"Ah, yes now that you've narrowed it down."

Bella nods.

"And what exactly has brought you to us?"

"Well I figured I'd make things simpler. You were to hunt me down soon enough. I don't see any real reason to put up a fight. I know… shocker right?"

"Wow, War has a sense of humor?"

"You've no idea my dear warrior."

He grins vainly.

"You see I want you to have the ring. I'm going to give it to you without putting up a fight."

"And why would you do that?"

"Because, I want this sped up a bit… By my offering this to you. I'm sure to get my war. A much bigger one; than that of what you'd have given; in order to merely get the ring. I'm more than certain I could have won. However, I prefer the bigger picture."

He makes his way over to Bella and looks into her eyes.

"There seems to be some struggle within you? Lacking in faith my dear?" He leans into her ear.

"Where's the darkness coming from? I was told you had no such qualms. That doesn't seem to be true. You see, I'm in your head. You're conflicted. A very interesting mind indeed… you're lacking in faith. Not something you particularly need, towards the end of days. Which side are you on little huntress?"

"You don't know shit about me."

He laughs. He takes off his ring and grasps it firmly.

"I will return for it when it is time."

He takes her hand into his own. He places the ring into her palm.

"Do take care of it… And thank you… We will meet again young warrior. Sooner than you think." He nods and vanishes.

Jo and Bella look to one another oddly. Bella opens her palm and looks upon the ring.

"Did I just help start the fucking apocalypse?" Bella says in slight fright.

"I've no idea. I'm just as clueless."

Bella half laughs and pinches her eyes shut for a moment.

"Are you alright?"

"Peachy…"

Jo watches as Bella turns pale. She holds up a finger and rushes to a nearby garbage bin. She upchucks and reaches to her stomach.

"That part's getting old." Bella groans as she comes back up.

She grabs the trial size mouthwash from her jacket. She gurgles some around in her mouth and spits.

"At least you're prepared!" Jo says with a positive beam.

"Something…" Bella says with a shrug.

Bella leans against the wall of the hotel for a moment.

"So we still got Death… The boys hopefully are taking care of the other."

"Are you suggesting we find Death?"

"Jo, I just want my husband back. So yeah, let's go find the dark angel and get this over with."

Jo nods.

"Um, ok… I'll go get ready."

Bella nods in return. She watches as Jo starts heading back to the hotel room. Bella just hadn't a clue where to even begin. She already had her knife and gun on her. As of late especially, she went nowhere without them. Mainly, her husband's dagger. She turned her direction towards the church across the street. She wasn't Catholic, but it was a church nonetheless.

She crossed the street and made her way inside. There were lines of cherry oak pews, gorgeous stained glass windows, the ceiling seemed to go on for miles, and statues of angels blowing horns were lined up along the walls. She walked down the sand colored marble floor. Her hands shook as she made her way down the aisle. There wasn't another soul in the church from what she could tell. Before her was a replica of Jesus on the cross, the crown of thorns around his head. Bella suddenly felt so small. It was as if this place swallowed her whole. But that wasn't the real issue and she knew it. As much as she wanted to deny it. She knew it was true. She was lacking in faith. Shame came over her. She knew better.

Bella lit one of the candles before her. She then dropped to her knees before the cross. She bowed down. Her heart felt heavy. Her soul weakened.

"Lord our Heavenly Father,

May you help me to conquer the darkness within me. I need the light of your word. Strengthen my heavy heart, my faltering soul. Restore my faith, let not temptation quench the fire; I know is within me. Help me to do right by you. Watch over my husband, our unborn child, my family, and friends. May we stay strong through whatever times are ahead. I ask you through Jesus Christ AMEN."

Bella opens her eyes. She lifts her head as a gust of wind puts out the candle. Someone starts clapping. She comes to her feet and cautiously turns. Even in his new host she knew who he was by the way he smiled.

"Raphael…" She pronounces exasperatedly.

"Such a heartfelt prayer; for such an undeserving sinner such as yourself."

"And isn't that why we pray? It seems you could use some healing yourself banished one."

"Hmm…" He walks down the aisle. The host he was in now looked as though that of a lawyer. Very expensive suit, he'd a massive gold wedding band about his finger. He was a tall African American. Much like his original host.

"How many times must we end your life?"

He smiles.

"Haven't you learned? I'm invincible!" He laughs with a deep bass like sound.

"You however, are not."

Bella gasps out as she feels a set of hands along her shoulders. His breath ran down along her neck.

"Now what are you up to?"

"Sorry brother, this one's mine."

She shut her eyes to the familiar voice.

"She just needs to come into terms with it."

"How is either of you, even allowed under the roof of God?"

Lucifer leans into her ear and whispers.

"We're angels my dear."

"The human is coming with me." Raphael demands.

"I'm afraid I cannot allow that."

Raphael tilts his head upon Lucifer. He shakes his head in laughter.

"Do you believe you can win against me brother?"

"You seem to forget that I am GOD OF THE UNDERWORLD! You're nothing more than one of father's puny angel's. A banished one at that. Tell me brother how does it feel? Don't you just love irony? The difference however, I was given an entire reign over a kingdom. And what have you brother?"

"And shouldn't you be concerned about running that so called kingdom? Why do you concern yourself with this pathetic human that carries an abomination?"
"That is my business now isn't it?"

Raphael looks upon Lucifer. He shakes a finger upon the air.

"You seek the child for yourself! You wish to protect her in hopes of having some sort of sovereignties to the unborn infant!"

"NO ONE'S TOUCHING OUR CHILD!" Bella shouts angrily.

"Both of you need to come into terms. That you WILL LOSE!"

Raphael comes diving right for her. Lucifer shoves her back behind him. As Raphael makes his way Lucifer slams him back. He's sent through the pews below. He comes back up dusting himself off.

"Very well… let's see just who the victor shall be!" Raphael announces.

Lucifer nods and takes a few steps towards him.

"Pst…" Bella looks over to see a priest off to the corner of the room.

She looks back to the fight before her. Then back to him. He waves her over with desperation. She nods and quickly makes her way over. He gently takes her by the arm.

"You are safe within the house of the Lord." He assures.

He finds her a place to hide.

"But sir…" She goes to argue.

He smiles warmly.

"I've heard everything ; I need to hear; dear one. Please allow me to help." He puts a finger to her lips. He then shuts the door to the confession booth.

Jo continues to wait in the parking lot. She looked around wondering where the hell, Bella went. Before long, she looked up hearing something coming from the church across the way. It was like loud boom sound. She narrowed her eyes in wonder. She rather rears back as something burst out from the doors. Only it was so fast she couldn't make out what it was. She decidedly made her way over. As she walked in she witnessed the destruction around her. The entire place was destroyed. Even the replica of the cross now lay upon the cracked marble beneath her feet. She looked over to see Bella stepping out of the confession booth. They nodded oddly towards one another. However, Bella's attention quickly turned to the familiar body. It wasn't just that she took notice of. It was the man in the black suit. He'd a cane about his hand. He'd midnight hair, he's cheeks were sunken in and so were his eyes. Ironically… well he looked like Death…

"WAIT!" Bella yells as he was about to put his fingers upon the man's forehead. The body was none other than the priest who had helped her hide. She wondered where Lucifer and Raphael ran off to.

The man in the suit came to a complete stop. He raised back up.

"Are you him?"
He tilts his head and looks around in wonder. He shakes his head and reaches back down.

"PLEASE DON'T!" Bella pleaded.

"Don't do it!"

He rose back up again. He takes a few steps towards her.

"How are you doing that?!" He hisses bitterly.
"Doing what?"

"How are you able to see me?!"

She swallows back uncertainly.

"Am I not supposed to?"

Jo looks to Bella as though she's lost her marbles.

"Who are you talking to hun?"

He reaches out his hand and Bella's eyes widen. She stumbles back to get away from him.

"Nah, I'm not ready to die. You just keep that hand to yourself there, fella."

A slight grin forms on his face. He heads back towards the priest.

"Please, don't do that. He helped me!"

Death sighs as if merely annoyed.

"I've a job to do. It's been interesting; I must say, but time to move on."

He goes to put his fingers upon the priest again.

"DON'T DO IT! Please sir, let's just talk about this. I need something from you as well."
Death turns towards her.

"Not only are you trying to detour me from my job. But you have the nerve to stand there and make other demands as well?!"

She takes in a nervous breath.

"You have my curiosity. I'll give you that much. Now make it quick. What is it you request?"

"Your ring sir… I need your ring."

He looks upon her in sheer skepticism.

"Now why would I give you my ring? Furthermore, why would you have any use for it?"

"I need it in order to help someone else."

"You do realize I need my ring in order to do my job?"

"What would it take?"

"You don't seem to grasp what I'm saying. Whoever wears this ring has the responsibility of taking the souls of those that are due!"

Without another word he puts his fingers upon the priest.

"NOOOO!" Bella cries and rushes over.

The man's back arches off the ground and he sucks in one last breath.

"Why?! Why would you do that?!" Tears were streaming down her face; as she crouched over the man.

She took his hand into her own.

"This was a good man!"

"You just do not get it do you?"

He looks upon her in thought.

"Perhaps, I shall give you what you want after all!"

Bella looks upon him alarmed. He takes off the ring.

"You have 24 hours."

He goes to hand it to her and she takes a few steps back.

"Wait… What exactly does that detail of?"

"You will be given the power; in which resides within the ring itself. For 24 hours you will take my place."

Her heart raced at this.

"Take your place?"

Jo couldn't believe what she was hearing from Bella's mouth. She heard nothing or saw nothing of Death himself. All she could make out was Bella and her entire end of the conversation.

"Bella?" Jo tried yet again to get her attention.

Bella held up a hand towards Jo.

"You mean…"

"You're allowed to keep the ring for 24 hours nothing less nothing more. You will see for yourself; just what it is I do. I will return for it. Then we will have a nice little discussion. I will be waiting." He goes hand her the ring.

She shakes her head in fear.

"Sir, I'm with child."

He smiles.

"I know… It will not kill the infant…" He says in an assured sardonic way.

"Bella, hun what are you doing?"

Bella looks back to Jo.

"When you see Dean; just tell him I'm going to be busy the next day or so…"

"Bella! Whatever it is. Don't!"

Bella sighs and looks back to Death.

"I have to… For Cass and Sammy." She says with a nod and holds out her hand.
"NO!" Jo shouts on top of her lungs.

Death carefully places the ring in her hand. He then turns his back to her and starts to head out of the church. Bella looks upon the ring.

"Do not delay… You are to wear it at once." He says and walks out.

Bella nods and puts on the ring. Jo's stands there in shock; as Bella disappears before her very eyes.

"I think we're getting closer."

Dean half laughs through the sheer agony; he and Bobby were in. The closer they came to the hospital room. The blurrier their vision got. The more ill they grew. Bobby and Dean had blood dripping from their noses.

"You were right…" Dean says.

"About…?" Bobby asks barely able to muster another step.

Bodies of nurses, patients, and doctors lay about the hallways and in the rooms.

"The girls… I'm glad we didn't have them tag along."

Bobby nods, not able to talk anymore. He came down to a crawl. He began to cough up blood.

"Bobby!"

They continue as they get right up to the door.

"Ah, and what do we have here?"

The door opens. They look upon the tall, lanky figure before them. He'd white hair he was an older looking man. He gave the boys a wink and sneezed all over the patient that was in the bed. The patient was a teenage boy. Nasty green snot was all over the boy's face. Dean shook his head as he and Bobby continued to crawl amongst the tiled floor. Bobby began to throw up puddles of blood.

The boy in the bed began to seizure. His heart monitor flat lined.

"Let's see what parting gift shall I give you? Syphilis, Scarlet fever, Meningitis? Or maybe we go a bit more old school? Bubonic, Smallpox, Spanish Flu? Which would you prefer Dean?"

Dean groans out taking his knife from his boot. He eyed the ring on Pestilence's finger. Dean leaned against the wall. Pestilence chuckled.

"You're not looking so well… Well I suppose it's time; to get this under wraps. Wouldn't you say? It's been fun, but I've other affairs to tend to."

He freezes though and turns.

"Now… what do we have here?"
Bella nods towards Death's brother.

"Well this is certainly different. You're much more pleasing to the eyes; than that of my brother."

Bella looks to her brother and Bobby.

"It's not their time."

"Now how would you know that?"

She ignores him and looks to the boy on the bed. Her heart sinks and she shut her eyes for a moment.

"But it is his…"

Bella couldn't believe the irony. Her first job as Death?! What were the odds that her brother and Bobby would be there? However, she knew they'd be on the mental list as well; if she didn't react and quickly. She looked to the ring on his finger. Now that she knew how things worked. She figured it was worth a shot. Pestilence's jaw dropped as Bella leaped over and shoved him against the wall. Since he was a fellow horseman; he wouldn't die at her touch. But that also meant she could rough him up if she so wanted. And at the moment… as Death? She was more powerful.

Dean watched in disbelief. He saw Pestilence fly back, but hadn't a clue who he was talking to. Nor did he see or hear anyone. It was as if a ghost was attacking him. Through the shock alone. Pestilence stared upon her caught off-guard. She took his ring and he too vanished. Dean and Bobby came to their feet as they began to get their strength back. Bella looked back to her brother as she saw him looking around confused. She knew there was nothing she could do. She pocketed Pestilence ring. As he was now gone from her point of view as well. She hadn't a clue where he'd gone. She just knew the ring had affected his sudden disappearance. She turned back to the boy knowing it was time.

He looked no older than 17 maybe 18. Bella glanced upon her brother and Bobby once more as they looked around completely lost.

"Great! Just fucking great!" Dean snaps.

"We lost Pestilence and the ring."

Bella narrowed her eyes knowing there was nothing she could do. She couldn't make herself known or heard. She simply had to hear and watch everything they were going through. She looked upon the boy once more.

"I'm sorry…" She spoke softly.

She put her hand gently upon his forehead. She felt his soul pass right through her. She gasped out not expecting the affects. She saw the boy's entire life play out. She stumbled back as it weakened her at first. From there she knew where he belonged. She delivered the boy to the gates of Heaven. She watched as they opened. Yet, again the irony hit her. She thought about her husband. She couldn't fathom the fact that she was here; on the outskirts of Heaven, delivering a soul in the placement of Death. The very place her husband was currently residing. All that stood before her was the white gates. Other than that there was a never ending vast of nothingness. It felt so peculiar to her. The boy turned back to her.

"Why?"

She swallowed back not expecting that.

"Why now? Why me?"

Her heart sank to her knees.

"You are in a better place now…" She said; Doing her best to think of something, Castiel would say in this circumstance.

"But my girlfriend and my mother? My little brother?!"

A cascade of light shined beyond the gates.

"They are calling to you. You have other loved ones waiting for you." She nods towards the gates.

He turns around. Bella watches as he walks on through. The boy was frightened beyond belief. As the gates closed she appeared back on Earth. It was crazy how this worked. The ring seemed to take her where ever she was needed. During the time; of waiting for another soul to be delivered, she merely walked about. No one saw her as she walked amongst them. This felt so twilight zone like for her. She was free to go where she wanted. Until, it was time to do another job. Through this knowledge Bella began to come up with a plan. She knew her brother had the other two rings; hidden at the hotel. If Bella could merely find a soul; that belonged within the gates of Hell. If she had all four rings within her clutch… Could she free Samael and Crowley? Bella knew she hadn't much choice. She only had the ring for less than 23 hours now. Bella hurriedly began to head to the hotel. Only she found herself already in the room. She gasped out realizing she'd somehow managed to teleport her way there. Something that could come in very handy… She nodded to herself in thought and hurriedly took the rings from their hidden spot. Bella now carried all four of the horseman's rings. Now she just needed a corrupt soul…

Castiel's eyes open. He came to his feet and looked around. He wasn't sure where he was. All he knew was all his powers were intact. Only without his wings he could no longer teleport. Thus, making it harder to get to his wife. That and he hadn't any real clue where she was. He began to do the only thing he could think of. He started walking. Castiel wouldn't stop until he found his wife.

Normally, he could sense her. Alarm washed over him however… He couldn't sense anything about her at the moment. There was nothing!

Everything was hitting him like a tidal wave; his father and his wrath, his own and the other angels' exile. The fact that the war in Heaven; had now been brought down to Earth. He knew there would be causalities. This was now the end of days; just as he foreseen. This would be about mere survival now. He also knew deep within his heart. This was a test. Not just within the humans. No this was a test amongst every being there was angels, demons, and humans. This was God's way of knowing who truly had reliance within him.

Page break

Once the boys return; they exchange stories with Jo. The three of them look upon one another as if trying to piece it all together.

"SON OF A FUCKING BIITTTTCH!"

Bobby and Jo turn back towards Dean. He tosses over the empty bible; where he'd kept the other ring.

"It's fucking GONE! SO ALL OF THIS, FOR NOTHING! We're back at ground zero! SO WE LOSE MY SISTER, MY UNBORN NEPHEW, CASS, AND THE MOTHERFUCKING RINGS!"
Dean threw the bible against the wall.

Dean stormed out of the hotel. He leaned over the Impala. He couldn't believe his sister agreed to take Death's place. He wanted to kick her ass! How dare she make such a decision? She was fucking pregnant! She had no business going into that. He growled in thought. However, something caught his eye.

"What the hell?"

He counted at least twenty meteor looking things falling from the sky at sporadic times. The sky would be clear at one point then more meteor like things would come crashing down. Jo walked out and she was about to say something. He grabbed her gently by the shoulders. He then lifted her chin with a single finger.

"What are those?"

"I haven't a clue."

They continued to watch as it'd come to a stop. Then more would appear.

"That's gotta be the craziest…" Dean utters.

Bobby steps out as well and the three of them look on, in sheer disbelief.

Bella leaned back against an alleyway wall. Her entire body shook. The tears wouldn't stop. She'd already taken the lives of five total. Five people whose lives; she now knew everything about. Five people whom she personally delivered to the gates of Heaven. Five in which had asked her the same questions. Why? What's the meaning of this? How could you do this to me? Why me? What about my loved ones? ETC… Her very last one had broken her heart the most.

She reached to her heart the tears just wouldn't stop. She had to deliver a cancer patient; that of a little boy. He was only 9 years old. He'd been battling cancer for 4 years of his life. He'd been through chemo all the works. That's what the past four years of his life had been. What broke her heart the most? The boy thanked her. He actually smiled and hugged her once they got to the gates. He'd wanted the pain to go away. He wanted to be free. He'd grown tired of being sick and the struggle. He hated to see his parents cry over him.

She hadn't much time to cope. She was being called yet again. She wiped her eyes. She still had a good 4 hours to go. She wasn't sure how much more she could take. That and she was beginning to wonder if she'd complete the one goal she needed. In four hours she'd have to give up the ring.

She appears in a subway tunnel. The lights were flickering on and off. The body of a man lay beside a bench. No one else was around. She shrugged in thought and made her way over. The man looked to be about Dean's age. Which she found to be rather sad as well... She feared what she'd learn once she touched him.

Little was she aware, he was the key she'd been waiting for. His life played out once it hit his teen years. Darkness had risen. It only escalated and continued to worsen as he got older. Bella came down to her knees. The man was nothing more than a murderer. He got off to killing young women. In fact that was how he died. He'd tried it on the wrong girl. She was an escapee of his that had come back with a vengeance. She'd hid a handgun in her purse and shot him on sight.

"What the fuck?"

She turned as she heard him utter this. He was looking upon his own body.

"How'd this shit happen?"

Bella rolled her eyes. They appeared at the cast iron gates of nothing, but gloom. Her nerves were getting the best of her. Now was the real test. She reached over and yanked the man over. She hadn't a clue if this was going to work. She took in a breath.

"What the hell are you doing bitch? And where is this place?"

"You're new home Casanova. Now shut your trap!"

She swallowed back and walked him right on through. Unlike Heaven, there were no lights or any of the such. Chills filled her spine as she remembered this place all too well. She kept her hold on the man. She feared if she let go. She'd be cast out. She hadn't a clue how this worked. It looked just the way she remembered. The dark and dreary feeling... It was hot and suffocating. Still the many different rooms were about the place. Demons lurked about and watched her every move. However, they stood at a safe distance. It seemed as though they feared her.

If that was the case; she wanted to use this to her advantage. She knew her time was limited. That and there was no telling; when she'd be called to deliver another soul. She pointed to one of the demons.

"Where is the box?"

The demon looks upon her bizarrely.

"Show me."

They nodded; still, they kept their distance. She thought it was odd that even in the afterlife; they still feared Death. They lead her through a couple rooms. One in which full on nausea it. It was the pit. The every one Castiel pulled her free from. She remembered how she burned over and over. She took in breath though as she remembered his voice. Take my hand… The way his deep blue eyes locked onto hers. She looked to her wedding ring in thought. She trudged on and followed the demon through a tunnel. Suddenly, they were in a regular looking building. The place reminded her of the Court houses back home in Kansas. It freaked her out the difference. It was as though they were back on Earth. However, the more she looked around. She began to realize. This was none other than the home of Lucifer. There were never ending hallways. One in which had a never ending line of people. She noticed how they each had tickets in their hands. One man had one that said 1103 as his waiting number.

She looked to the demon in thought.
"What are they waiting for?"

The blonde haired demon smiled; her charcoal eyes glistened as she answered.

"Nothing…"

Bella looked to her in wonder. They passed by cells; in which held what seemed to be prisoners of some sort. Bella felt the pull.

"No…" She growled, knowing she was being called upon.

She looked upon the demon.

"HURRY IT UP!"

The demon nodded and pointed to a certain area. It looked as though a giant vault. Like what you'd see at a bank. The only difference… there was four slots. She continued her firm hold on the soul. She took the rings out of her pocket. She growled again as she felt her body being suctioned back. She quickly took off the ring and placed them within the slots. She shrieked out in pain as the cage flew open. Bella promptly grabbed the ring. There were many seals to the room. They each kept opening, until it finally revealed two men at the very end of the never ending tunnel; of unsealed doors. She saw the two men looking upon her, extraordinarily. She said the only thing she could think of and quickly. The longer she kept Death's ring off the more it felt as though she were dying.

"Samael… Find Dean Winchester… He's your brother!"

She quickly grabbed the other rings and placed Death's back on. The younger looking man reached out to her, but she flew back at great force. She felt her body slamming against the asphalt. She blinked a few times looking upon the sky. Bella rolled over and came to her feet. She screamed out again as an eight wheeler drove right through her. She gasped out and ran her hands along her entire body in disbelief. She looked back to see the truck driving on as though nothing had happened.

She bowed over catching her breath. She thought she'd have a heart attack. She ran her hands along her tummy in thought. Bella then looked over and saw him. He shook his head and wiggled his finger for her to come to him.

"That last tidbit was on me. You deserved it after breaking our pact. You weren't to remove that ring for 24 hours… You still had a good three hours. Give it!"

She nervously takes it off.

"Are you going to kill me?"

He raises a brow.

"Even through all that… have you learned nothing."

She shuts her eyes in relief.

"It's not by choice, but by time…"

He nods and places the ring back on. He looks upon her stomach.

"However…" He says in a chilling way.

Her eyes widen and she takes few steps back. He presses his lips tapping his fingers along his cane.

"I've other important matters to attend. That is why I called you back."

She takes in a breath of relief.

"So it wasn't a soul?"

He shakes his head.

"Try multiples. You'd be in over your head. I've no choice, but to take over from here."

"Multiples?"

"You were too busy with the deliveries to take notice… It seems our conversation; will have to wait for another day."

"Notice of what?"

He doesn't answer. He simply nods and vanishes.

Castiel had been walking for a few hours now. He kept along the highway. He had the smallest hope; that the Winchesters would drive past and recognize him. But no such luck. That wasn't the only issue. He was being tailed. He did his best to pretend not to notice. Soon though he knew he was about to be cornered and forced into combat. They were other angels. The very ones that said; his child was an abomination. The longer they followed him the livider he felt. This was the definitive in betrayal. Not only had they betrayed him, Michael and Ezekiel; amongst others that still had their faith in God. But they were betraying their own father as well. He didn't want to find against his own brothers! Yet, he knew he'd have no choice. Castiel also knew why they waited. They knew he was one of the best. Castiel was a soldier, a warrior of Heaven, he'd spent millennia in the battle fields of Heaven. He wouldn't be easy to take down single handedly. It would take a majority to even get close. At the moment though he'd one thing on his mind and one only; his wife and child.

"Hello boys…"

Lucifer and Raphael stop in mid-battle. They slowly turn to the familiar voice. He smiles and pats one of his hellhounds on the head.

"Crowley…" Lucifer sneers.

Crowley nods. He shakes his finger scolding Lucifer.

"You've made me quite angry. I've had plenty of time to think…" He hints.

He then turns to Raphael.

"And what might your story be? Perhaps it's time we all had a bit of a chat? For old time's sake? Do catch me up. You see I've been away for quite some time and I do love me a good gossip!"

Bella continues down the highway. She'd had five dollars on her; not enough to get a hotel. She was nowhere her brother or Jo. In fact she was certain; she wasn't even in the same state anymore. Sure enough she looks around and finds herself in freaking Montana. All she had about her was her weapons. She was freezing through her light jacket. The sun was about to set. She continued to walk. She was thirsty, hungry, and tired. Bella wished, she'd thought to grab her cell.

After an hour of walking down the highway; she walked over to a gas station. She tried calling Dean collect on his cell. No answer… She then tried Jo and Bobby. When all else failed. She left a message with the hotel they stayed in last. Then prayed her brother got it.

"Um D… Don't freak out or nothing, but I'm in Montana. Not quite sure how I got here or where in Montana I am…" She froze and turned as she saw three people walking up towards her.

"Anyways I'm doing my best to get back, just stay put. I'll be there as soon as I can."

She hangs up and turns to see them continuing towards her. Something within her became alarmed. Her heart raced slight fear took over. She made her way out and began towards the highway again. She turned back to see the trio and sure enough she was being followed. Bella picked up the pace, but so did they. It was a woman and two men. Something about them didn't read human. Bella began to run.

Dean threw down his keys and tossed his jacket about the hotel.

"We'll find her Dean."

He nods. Bobby sits down and rubs his face tiredly. He looks over to see the phone flashing a light indicating a message.

"You got a message." He says looking to Dean

Dean narrows his eyes and he rushes over towards the phone. He calls to the hotel voicemail.

He shakes his head then slams down the phone.

"What is it son?"

"You won't believe this shit."

"What?" Jo questions with concern.

"She's in freaking Montana!"
"What in God's name is she doing there?!"

"Hell if I know. But she sounded shaken up a bit. Told us to stay put that she'd come to us."

"That damn kid…" Bobby grumbled.

"This is utter bullshit! I'm going to kick my little sister's pregger ass! I swear she hasn't a lick of sense!"

Jo sighs.

"She did it for Cass and Sam."

Bobby and Dean look to Jo.

"I heard her say for Cass and Sammy… When she made the deal."

Dean flinched at this.

"Dammit…" He ran his hands through his hair and paced the hotel room.

"It should have been me. NOT HER!"

The three of them turn to a knock on the door. Dean takes out his gun and looks through the peephole. He looks back to Jo and Bobby oddly.

"Dean?"

Jo questioned as he looked downright ghostly. Dean cautiously opens the door. The man was dressed entirely in black; black suit, dress shirt, tie, and shiny black dress shoes. Dean already knew…

"Sammy?" Dean utters in absolute disbelief.

"Where is Dean Winchester?" He gruffly demands and welcomes himself inside.

Castiel's hand went straight to his heart. His eyes widened as he suddenly was floored. He could sense her now. He looked around in thought. He wondered why he couldn't before. Now it hit him like a sack of bricks. It was heavy. At this Castiel took off running. He wouldn't stop until he found her.

Bella continued to run. Only they were getting closer. She was growing tired her feet were killing her. It was growing colder. In fact it was starting to snow. Large flakes of snow landed in her hair and along her body. She turned back to see they were directly behind her now. She no longer had a choice. It was fight or die. She took out her husband's dagger. It glowed even more significantly now. The woman looked upon her.

"How do you wield one of our own?" She interrogated looking to the dagger.

Bella looked to each of them confused.

"That is not yours!" One of the men bark and he reaches out to the dagger.

Bella shakes her head and takes a step back.

"You're angels aren't you?"

The woman smiles.

"But why?"

"Because of YOU!"

She yells wrathfully.

Bella continues to step back. She firmly holds the dagger.

"Please I do not wish to fight you."

The three of them laugh.

"As if you could; you're merely human."

"I'm afraid I do not understand. Why are you after me?"

"You've managed to corrupt one of our own. He stands against us! Our own brother, because of you and the ultimate sin that rest within your womb. One we cannot allow to live."

"Castiel is your BROTHER! How could you do this to him?! You'd honestly kill me and his unborn child?!"

"We are doing him a favor."

"Well fuck you and your favors."

"Such a disgraceful mouth! How can he possibly see anything other than revulsion in humans such as yourself!"

Bella half laughs, but stumbles back landing on her ass.

"Dammit…"She growls and quickly rolls over as one of them dives right for her.

"Think about what you're doing!" Bella cries as she scoots away from the trio.

"I'm not your enemy! Neither is my husband! Now please just stop!"

The angel comes back to his feet. He dusts himself off. He comes for her again. Bella's eyes widen in shock as she automatically slams the dagger into his heart. She clasped her hand over her mouth as the white light cascades over his entire body. He explodes.

"NO!" She cries again realizing she just took the life of an angel.

"Please stop! I don't want to FIGHT YOU!"

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!" The woman shouts.

"That's impossible! You're merely human! You cannot take us on!" The man declares.

Bella wipes her eyes with the back of her hand.

"I'm afraid I just did. Believe me this isn't something I wanted! However, I will NOT go down without a fight! Even against YOU!"

"THEN SO BE IT!"

Bella swiftly rushes back to her feet. She braces herself for impact as they both come for her. She knew all it took was one touch. Just one and she were dead. She reacted without another thought. It was purely about survival now. Though she greatly feared what her husband's reaction would be. How would he take the knowledge of his wife killing one of his brothers?!

These thoughts run through her mind as the woman holds out a hand. She give a simple nod.

"It is time to put an end to all this nonsense."

Bella screams out as she's sent flying right through traffic. Her body is slammed up against a truck. She gasps out at the impact. The driver slams on his brakes. He quickly makes his way over.

"Are you alright Miss?"

"Please just go!" Bella warns as the angels are making their way over.

The man looks upon her confused.

"I think you're in need of a hospital Miss." He crouches over and gets on his cell phone.

He reached over as if to check her over. However the man puts his hand upon the driver's forehead. Bella shrieks out as the driver falls to his death.
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! HE WAS INNOCENT!"

"None of you humans are innocent! You're a flaw in the system!"

"Jesus! You sound like Raphael!"

Bella crawls away from the wreckage. Doing her best to avoid the angels. She knew she didn't stand a chance. It was a lucky blow earlier. There was no way she had the ability to take them on. The least she could do was go down with her head up. She sorely came to her feet. She eyed them both.

"If you're to kill me. Then look me in the eyes when you do."

Bella yet again, takes her stance. She plants her feet. She stares them down in waiting.

Snow began to heavily fall the more Castiel traveled. His senses were even more potent. It was as if his wife was right next to him now. He looked around in thought. He knew he had to be getting closer. His eyes locked on the wreckage up ahead. He took off with a quickness that direction.

Sure enough there she was…

There she stood covered in snow, and soot. Blood was dripping from her nose. Her head swayed a bit as she stood her ground. Before her stood two of his own.

"Any last words?" He heard one of them question with derision.

His eyes locked onto his wife's. Castiel punctures his fists through both of their backs. He takes their hearts. Their hearts roll out of his hands onto the asphalt.

Bella came to her knees.

"Cass…?" She whispered with apprehension in her voice.

He nodded. Her bottom lip quivered a bit.

"It's really you?" She said softly.

"Yes, Bella… It's me."

He makes his way over. Bella brings her hands down upon the pavement. Castiel put a hand upon her shoulder. Her eyes came to a close. He promptly scooped her up. Castiel brought her to his chest. Her body began to heal. She fell into a deep slumber. Meanwhile, tears streamed down Castiel's face as he looked upon her. He kissed her forehead and started walking.
