A/N...

Yay! I'm back to this story. This was supposed to be a little love fic, and its evolved into this massively long adventure. And don't worry all you Alliance fans, I'll be introducing some Alliance in Act 3. I will also be putting out several smaller stories, to explain people and relationships, so it doesn't bog down the main story. I'll explain it more in those, this is just a big PSA :)

Warning: Smoking, demons, exposition dump, and the Naaru

Kaxet puffs on his cigar, craning his neck upwards to look at the Naaru. "So, you're a Naaru then?" He blows out a column of smoke and points at the creature before him, "What do you know about Vician Trannyth?"

The air around the party rumbles with gentle laughter, "Straight to the point are we?" The voice of the Naaru echoes around them.

Kaxet grins and offers a wink, "Part of my charm." Itris rolls her eyes, while Ororan buries his face in his hand.

"Vician Trannyth was one of the greatest soldier's of the light," Khadgar says, while stroking his beard, "He used his immense power to combat the Burning Legion."

"Vician was a warrior of the light?" Tibarn asks confused, "But, he died trying to found a religion of the Shadow."

"Vician was a man of strange tastes," the Naaru answered, as if shrugging its shoulders through its words. "When Vician realized his potential power—that he was an uncorrupted warlock—he came here. He pledged to assist us in battling the Burning Legion. But, we knew that Vician—even with his immense power—could not hold a candle to the might of the Burning Legion. We had to assist him."

"So, we put out a call for warlocks from both the Horde and the Alliance," Khadgar jumps in, taking out his pipe, and placing in leaves of tobacco. Snapping his fingers, he lights the pipe with a small flame erupting from his thumb. Puffing on the pipe, he shakes his thumb, putting out the flame, "Many warlocks heeded our call, but very few were uncorrupted."

"We gathered those uncorrupted—along with Vician—and founded the Society of Uncorrupted Warlocks, also known as the Society," the Naaru says, jumping in again. "It was within the Society that Vician crafted his master plan. Using a network of demonic associates, Vician signed Blood Contracts with Burning Legion members. He did this by the thousands."

"So," Itris begins, "Vician worked with you and this Society to fight against the Burning Legion?"

"Yes," the Naaru answers. "The plan was for each of the members of the Society to sign as many blood contracts as they can before they died. Once enough members of the Burning Legion were involved in the created civil war, we would lead the Heroes of Azeroth straight to the heart of the Burning Legion and fight them on their own turf, eventually leading to their defeat. In that way, the Society's sacrifice would not be forgotten."

Kaxet blows out a column of smoke, waving his hand back and forth. "That's nice and all," he says, looking up at the Naaru, "But we kind of need him back."

Khadgar looks at the goblin confused, "What?"

"Well," Elkemin begins, "we have been sent by the Dark Lady in order to bring Vician back to the land of living. Even Vician's notes made mention to 'seek the Naaru'. We figured that you would have something."

Khadgar puffs on his pipe as he thinks. "Hmm, only an Eternal can overrule a blood contract. But I am not certain if it will eliminate the contract in the process, or if it merely removes Vician's claim to it."

"If it means that we can return the most powerful warlock in the world, to assist in the final battle, is it not worth the shot?" Rili steps forward voicing this position.

The hall is silent, as the Naaru thinks over the positions. Finally, after a span of time, the Naaru rumbles, "I know of only two Eternals that will answer your call; Elune and the Earthmother, as you all them."

Kaxet smirks and puffs on his cigar, "Excellent!" He inclines his head towards the Naaru and Khadgar. He turns and addresses the others members of the Horde, "Which Eternal shall we go for, then?"

"I would be suggesting de Earthmatha; I'd be doubting de Night Elves would be too happy to see a bunch of de Horde," Uraz'Do says, stroking his chin with his left hand and gesturing with his right."

"Would the Earthmother help us, Elkemin?" Itris asks, turning towards the Tauren.

Elkemin thinks it over before nodding, "Yes, she will; as long as we ask nicely."
