Warning: Smoking, fishing, nakedness, and a really angry Vician

"You want to do what?" Beram Skychaser asks the assembled group of Horde.

"We want to ask the Earthmother to bring Vician Trannyth back to the land of living," Elkemin asks, in the sweetest tone possible. They had arrived at Thunder Bluff in the early morning and they were still trying to figure out how to revive Vician, even this late into the afternoon.

"Child," Beram says sadly, "I do not think it is possible. I have never heard of the Earthmother reviving another into the land of the living."

Elkemin opens her mouth to respond, while Kaxet pushes through her legs, as he steps forward. "Oi!" he says, looking up at the towering Tauren. "We were told by the Naaru that the Earthmother can revive Vician to the land of the living, and overrule his Blood Contract. Now, what's the hold up?"

Beram looks down at Kaxet and shakes his head, "I am sorry little one. I do not know of any ritual where Earthmother may return a deceased soul to life." The tauren thinks it over, before he responds again, "You could try speaking to Mani Winterhoof. You can find her on the Middle Rise in her shop."

Elkemin smiles and bows to Beram before leading a fuming Kaxet away. "Damn that Naaru," he spits, puffing furiously on his cigar. "Come all this way for nothing," he shakes his head and puffs deeply on his cigar.

"Why don't you try and calm him down," Elkemin says, motioning to the Goblin, "While Ororan and I go and talk to Mani."

Itris smiles and nods her head, "Sure thing. We'll try and catch up in a bit, if he doesn't burn down Thunder Bluff," she looks over her shoulder at the rest of the group and Kaxet pacing back and forth, smoke rising off of him like the smoke rising out of the newfangled goblin choppers.

Together Elkemin and Ororan make their way to Mani. She chatters into his ear, talking about all the sights and sounds of Thunder Bluff and of their travels. "It feels like we are somewhere near the end of this journey, Ororan." She stops and looks over at him, a smile reaching towards her eyes, "What would you want to do after this? Go on another grand adventure?"

Ororan shrugs and smiles; his way of saying maybe.

Elkemin laughs and smiles, "Maybe. Maybe sounds good."

The pair reaches Mani's shop, but, to their disappointment, the door is locked and the lights are off. They do find a note, wedged between the door frame and the wall. Picking up the note, Elkemin clears her voice and reads aloud, "'Gone to Dutor to assist in clearing out the lakes of the invasive . . ." she stops and rolls her eyes at Ororan, "Fishing, She's gone fishing and will be back in a week. Hmph, 'invasive fish species'," she says grumbling as she puts back the note.

The pair makes their way back to the rest of the group and report on the bad news. Kaxet begins to puff on his cigar with renewed interest, while Tibarn covers his face with his hands, muttering quietly, "We need a miracle at this rate."

Itris looks over at Elkemin and taps her chin with a slender elven finger, "Can't we just ask the Earthmother to help?"

Elkemin chews the inside of her cheek and shrugs, "There is no harm in asking, but we should probably move out of the city and go to the plains below, so we can have more room, just in case something does happen."

So the group moves and descends to the plains, finding a nice flat and open area. Elkemin goes to her knees and begins to chant. She calls upon the Earthmother, singing praise and explains how she works in harmony with the planet, caring and tending for its needs. While they do not have Vician's body with them, she tells the Earthmother that his body is still in the Undercity. She, politely, goes on to ask the Earthmother for assistance in bringing Vician back into the world of the living.

So earnest is Elkemin's plea that the Earthmother decides to help. However, calling upon the assistance of an Eternal can be tricky business, because Eternals tend to operate differently than expected. So, when Elkemin asked for Vician to be brought back to life, the Earthmother took it literally.

Like a star falling from the sky, a beam of light as created that shot straight up into space itself. A figure moves and steps out of the light, which retreats as quickly as it came. A naked human stands before the group of Horde, its shortly cropped red hair clinging to his rounded face; his eyes open and deep emerald eyes bore holes into the Horde Hero's.

Rili is the first to step forward, "Master?" she asks tentatively, her heart pounding in her chest.

The man blinks at looks at the succubus, "Rili," he says, his deep and rolling, a slight accent in the way he speaks the Orcish tongue, "What did these idiots do?"

Itris blinks and steps forward, "We revived you, Vician. You're back in the land of the living."

Vician looks down at his human hands, then back up to the group of Horde. He shakes with rage as the dark forces swirl around him, "You idiots!"
