Warning: Fighting, name calling, and Tibarn
Rose Oxworth thumbs the pages of her book, her head nodding and eyes drooping. Stifling a yawn, she stretches, rolling her shoulders to work out the kinks. Turning, she smiles, looking at herself in the small mirror on her desk. Her eyes dance over her features; her smooth, tanned skin, her black hair tied back into a ponytail, her light blue eyes, and the angular shape of her face.
Hearing the door of the Light's Dawn Cathedral open and then close, Rose stands and exits her office, curious by the noise. Approaching the two cloaked figures, she offers a warm smile. "Hello and welcome to the Light's Dawn Cathedral," she begins sweetly in Common, "May I introduce myself? I am Rose Oxworth, a priestess of the Light here in Gilneas."
One of the cloaked figures chuckles and lowers his hood. "Hello Rose. You are always so polite," Zachery says, opening his arms.
Rose smiles and nearly squeals, "Zachery!" She approaches the Paladin, hugging him tightly, "It is so good to see you." Pulling back, she motions to him, "What are you doing here, Zach?"
Zachery smiles, "I'm on a special mission from an unlikely patron," he says, motioning to the other cloaked figure.
Rose smiles and turns towards the redheaded Human with sharp emerald eyes. "Hello. May I introduce myself? I am Rose Oxworth. May I ask your name?" She asks, extending a hand towards the man.
The man chuckles and shakes his head, "You wouldn't be all too happy to hear of my name," he responds in Common, his accent having a definite twinge to it.
Rose blinks and shakes her head, "I find that unlikely, Sir. I never hate someone upon a first meeting of them; that would he rude."
Zachery chuckles, "The Light forbid that you be rude, Rose," his chuckle grows into a full laugh, as she sticks her tongue out at him.
The man rolls his eyes and turns back towards Rose. "Fine; I am Vician Trannyth."
Rose's face falls when she hears that name. Stepping back from Zachery and Vician, she hisses at him, "The Grand Warlock of the Forsaken? The Scourge of Gilneas? The Baron of Death? Here in the heart of Gilneas City?!"
Vician nods his head, stepping back from Rose and Zachery, dark magical energy beginning to whip around him, "Yes. I do have a lot of names."
Rose howls as her body begins to transform. Bones crack as she transforms into her Worgen form, fur grows along her body, her snort extends, and she bares her sharp canines at the Forsaken man before. "I will enjoy gnawing on your bones once I am done with you, Zombie!"
Dark magical energy whips around Vician faster and faster, until he stands in the middle of a whirling tornado of destruction, "Like you'd get that far, you mangy mutt!"
Zachery buries his head in his hand, groaning softly as the two trade insults. Stepping in between the two, he stretches his arms out, yelling at both of them, "Enough! Both of you!" He turns his head towards Rose, "Please Rose. We need your help to save the Banshee Queen. If you help, Trannyth has promised to return to Stormwind and stand trial." He turns his head towards Vician, pointing a finger at the warlock, "and you! No killing my best friend."
Rose narrows her eyes and motions towards Vician. "I want to hear him say it," she growls.
"I will not beg," Vician scoffs towards Rose.
"Then I will not help you, zombie," she answers back.
With a pleading look from Zachery, Vician signs and dissipates his magical energy. Looking at the worgen Rose, he opens his mouth and closes it again. "Rose Oxworth," Vician begins looking straight into her eyes, "I . . . I need your help to defeat an incubus called Taniel, who has put Sylvanas in a coma. I cannot defeat Taniel because my dark magic is not capable of defeating him. The Light is the only thing powerful enough to defeat Taniel. And," he looks over at Zachery, "what the paladin says it true. If you help me, I will grant to you whatever you desire and I will stand trial in Stormwind."
Rose steps closer to Vician and grips him by the neck, "I want you dead. For all the lives you've ruined, for all the people you have killed, for all the destruction you have caused to Gilneas and the Alliance. If I help you with this incubus, then you will go with Zachery and me to Stormwind, you will stand trial, and you will be punished for your actions."
Vician levels his gaze that the worgen priest, lifting his chin and standing proudly before her, "if it means I can help Sylvanas, I'll do it."
Rose nods her head as she begins to transform back into her human form. With Vician standing at least a half-a-foot above her own, she tightens her grip until she sees him wince. "Fine, Trannyth. We have a deal."
Meanwhile, Rili sits in Vicians' house, at his desk, with her head in her hands. She sniffles, her tears falling into the glass of wine before her. She doesn't know this feeling deep within her core was; is it lust or love? But she feels it towards her Master and it broke her heart to fight with him. Sniffling again, she lifts the glass shakily to her lips and shakes her head, "Master," she mutters.
"Your Master is not here, Demon," a voice says from the doorway.
Looking up, she narrows her eyes as she stands, "Tibarn."
Standing up from his leaning position, Tibarn crosses the room to where Rili stands defiantly. Reaching into the folds of his robe, he pulls out a small flask, watching as Rili pales. "Do you know what this is, Demon?"
"Stay away from me, Tibarn. My Master will kill you if you harm me," Rili hisses at the warlock.
Tibarn chuckles and pulls the cork off of the flask. Flinging his wrist forward, he flings the liquid out of the flask, watching as it lands on Rili and burns her. "Holy Water; it's good for keeping uppity Demons like you in line." While Rili reels from the water coming in contact with her skin, Tibarn closes the distance and slaps Rili hard across the face, creating a bruise and sending her to the floor. "Your Master is not here, Demon," he repeats.
"For far too long you have been a royal thorn in my side. Today, that all changes." He pours some more Holy Water on Rili, watching her squirm and writhe as various bruises and blisters form on her body. "Today, you will be put in your place." He kicks Rili in the stomach and smirks as she begs and cries. "Today, you will get what is coming to you and I will enjoy it." Reaching down, he pulls Rili up to her feet, "have anything to say, Demon?"
Rili spits into Tibarn's face, snarling at him, "My Master will kill you."
Tibarn smirks and slaps Rili across the face again, sending her into Vicians' desk. Chuckling, he goes over to Vicians' door, and slowly closes it, before looking back at the succubus with predatory glare. "No. He won't."
