After Vician practically moved into the private chambers, it was quiet for the first week. Although they saw no sighting of Rili or the other Horde traitors, Kalira knew that they were planning. She couldn't relax, as if she just knew that something was going to happen, that despite the added security when Rili makes her move, Kalira would be unable to stop it.

And she was right.

The blast rips through the solid stone wall, showering the Sylvanas' room with chunks of stone and shards of mortar, which make small cuts onto cheeks and forearms which were brought up to block the blast. Following the blast, several smoke grenades fly into the room and obscure both Kalira's and Vician's view. Stumbling around, Kalira tries to reach for Vician, as shouts of the Royal Guards can be heard outside.

Coughing, she swipes at the smoke fruitlessly, trying to feel for Vician. She barely notices the door bashed down by the guards, even as they flood into the room. She stumbles away from them and towards the gaping hole in the wall, trying to get out of the smoke. She looks around and sees shadows all around her, praying to the Shadow that Vician is one of them. The Shadow answers her plea, as she stumbles right unto Vician. And Rili, who is holding a rag over the now limp Vician's mouth and nose.

Kalira snarls and launches herself at the succubus, who struggles to carry Vician away. "Ororan," Rili yells, giving away her location to the guards. The huge, lumbering Orc seemingly materializes behind the lithe succubus and grabs Vician, throwing him over his shoulder. Rili, with now hands free, sweeps a hand out towards Kalira, scratching her forearm. Kalira pulls back, allowing Rili and the Orc to run.

Kalira soon gives chase, yelling at the guards. "They are here! On me!" Kalira runs, chasing Ororan, Elkemin, Kaxet, and Rili, with the Royal Guards racing after them behind her. "Stop them!" she screams at the Forsaken, pointing at the traitors before her. She will not let them get away; she will not let Vician leave her alone again; she will not let that slut Rili steal him away.

Rili and the group round a corner, heading in the direction of the Undercity elevators, while Kaxet pats down his pockets. "More of your damn machines?!" she yells at him, "I thought that Blast-O-Matic 3000 was gonna make a small hole in the wall."

Kaxet chuckles as he pulls out another bundle of grenades, "It ain't Goblin engineerin' unless it blows up!" He lights the fuse and throws it behind him. It explodes, scorching the ground and sending chunks of stone into the air and the faces of several guards.

Kalira growls and runs faster, sprinting towards the traitorous bunch. However, she is not quick enough and the group runs into the elevators, lifting out of their sight. "Damn it!" Kalira screeches, slamming her fist into the fall in frustration. She paces back and forth, waiting for the elevators to descend, precious time being wasted.

She looks from the Royal Guards to the elevator shaft. "How the fuck did they manage that?" she screeches her question, pointing at the guards. Shaking her head, she casts her eyes upwards, sending a whispered plea to the Shadow, "we have to get him back. I can't lose him again." The elevator emits a soft ding as it reaches the bottom again. Kalira and the Royal Guards flood into it, eager to give chase to the traitors.

Running out of the Ruins of Lordaeron, Rili looks up at the Zeppelin tower, pointing towards it. "There," she says, "the Zeppelin in here; let's go!" Running towards the tower, they dare not look back at Kalira and the Royal Guards on their trail. They reach the tower and bound up the stairs, two at a time, while the Guards must enter the tower in single file, with Kalira leading the charge.

Reaching the top, the Zeppelin just begins to move. Rili curses and screams back at her group, "Jump for it!" Using her speed and momentum, she leaps from the platform and onto the moving airship. Kaxet, Elkemin, and Ororan—who is clutching Vician tight to his chest—soon follow after her.

Kalira and several of the Royal Guards arrive at the platform, just as the deck of the airship has moved out of sight. Growling, she pulls her bow from her back and lines up a shot. "Fire at that airship!"

One of the Royal Guards looks at the Ranger, confusion on his face, "But . . . ?"

"We can't let them escape. If they do," she says, releasing a notched arrow, "they will be several hours ahead of us; now, fire at that airship! That is an order!"

The Royal Guard nods his head and orders the others to fire at the Zeppelin. Around two hundred Royal Guards fire volley after volley into the air, striking the airship along the underside of the wooden boat, with very few approaching the engine or the balloon. After the second volley, the Zeppelin's captain increases the speed, quickly moving the airship out of the line of fire.

Kalira notches another arrow, lining up her shot. She squares her body and releases the arrow on the exhale. The arrow flies true and strikes the balloon, sending the arrow into but not through it. The captain quickly pilots the balloon out of the Undercity and towards Durotar, while Kalira's screams can be heard behind them.

When Vician comes to, he can hear screaming. The voices are muddy at first and he struggles to understand. He only catches snatches of words, "Damn Forsaken . . . arrows . . . balloon . . . goddamn act of war, this is!"

Vician struggles to understand and tries to wipe his eyes to clear his head. But, as he tries to move, he can tell that his hands are bound behind his back. He curses softly, feeling the wooden beam behind him and how securely he is tied to it. Instead, he blinks his eyes rapidly, straining to hear over the yelling and commotion.

"I don't care about your feelings on this," a voice who distinctly sounds like Kaxet yells, "can you pilot this damn ship?!"

"It's a little hard," another voice yells, which Vician assumes is the captain, "with my balloon loosing air and becoming a heap of cloth on the deck! Garrosh is gonna hear about this!"

"Well, Garrosh won't hear about nothin'," Kaxet yells again, "if we crash into the goddamn water!"

An alarm begins to sound throughout the ship and Vician casts his eyes upwards, towards the blinking orange light. "I'm losing altitude," the captain screeches. "We're not gonna make it to the tower, Kaxet!"

"Where are we gonna land?" Kaxet yells back.

"We're gonna smash right into it!" The captain screams. Vician blanches and struggles to get out of his bonds with renewed interest. He suddenly stills, when he feels a sharp blade press between his wrists; but soon releases a breath as the bonds are cut away.

"Master," Rili says breathlessly. She moves from behind to cup his face in her hands. "I'm sorry, Master," she says tears forming in the corners of her eyes. "I couldn't just let you go with the Alliance and die."

Vician pushes the succubus off of him and struggles to stand. "And so you blow a hole in the side of the private chambers and kidnap me? Where you even thinking Rili?!"

The airship jerks to the left, as the sound of metal and wood grinding against each other drowns out the klaxon of the alarms. Both Rili and Vician stumble, before they steady themselves. "That mind of yours was being suicidal again; I couldn't let you just die. Damn it, Master, I love you too much to let that happen!"

Vician crosses the distance and grips Rili's arms tightly, digging in his nails, not caring at the flash of pain the crosses Rili's face. "I was not going to die! Sylvanas and Kalira would have killed the Alliance before that could happen!"

The airship jerks to the right, pulling off from the tower and slamming into the walls of Orgrimmar, sending Rili and Vician flying to the right and splintering the wooden ship against the stone. "I don't trust the Alliance," Rili screams back. "They could have done the same as we did! I had to save you! I had to protect you! From both the Alliance and from Kalira!"

The airship pulls back from the walls and huddles towards the ground at increasing speed. "Jealously?!" Vician screeches, "you kidnap me out of jealousy?!"

Rili narrows her eyes and glares at him, "Did you not think I would not smell that slut on you, while you nearly kissed me in your house?!"

"That has nothing to do with—" Vician begins to say.

"That has everything to do with it, Master!" Rili yells back, holding onto him tightly.

"Everyone hold on!" the captain yells, as the Zeppelin slams into the ground. The airship slides for several more yards, splintering wood and twisting metal as the momentum carries it forward; thereby sending the nose of the ship deeper into the hard, compact earth. The airship stops suddenly, jerking the occupants forward. Rili tumbles backwards and Vician falls onto of her, their lips inches for contact.

Looking from his lips to his eyes, Rili whispers softly, "I had to save you from anyone who would keep us apart. . ."

Vician stares into Rili's blue eyes for several more moments, until a commotion behind them separate them. Elkemin groans and rubs her head, as Ororan lifts a fallen beam out of the way. "Oh, glad you two are alright." She looks down at her feet and shrugs gently, "Sorry kidnapping you, Vician. We couldn't trust the Alliance to keep their word."

Now standing, he looks from Rili to Elkemin and back again. "It's alright," he says softly, looking deep into Rili's eyes, as if he is speaking to her. "You can make it up to me later."

Rili nods her head and smiles slightly, biting her bottom lip. Kaxet stumbles towards the group, the side of his head bleeding lightly. "I hate to cut this reunion short, but the Orcs are gathering outside, and I just wired up the last of my explosives. We should move."

Elkemin peers out one of the porthole windows at a wooden ship in the distance. "Hey Ororan," she says, pointing at the ship. "Isn't that your cousins' boat?"

Looking out another window, Ororan nods his head and then turns back to the group. He lays out his left and hand makes his index and middle finger run on the palm of his left.

"What's he saying?" Vician asks.

"He says we gotta run to the boat," Elkemin says, already darting for the door. Hearing the approaching Orcs, Vician takes Rili's hand and runs after Elkemin. The group exits the now smoking Zeppelin, just as the captain struggles out of one of the windows.

"Hey!" he screams, pointing at the group. "They caused this thing to crash; stop them!"

Kaxet turns around and pulls out the detonator. He flips off the airship captain, before hitting the button. The explosion rocks the airship, sending out clouds of smoke and fire from the cockpit. The captain screams, desperately trying to bat down the flames. "That should keep them busy for a while."

And it does; the group is able to sneak aboard Ororan's cousins' ship, and they are soon sailing out of Orgrimmar and into the South Seas.
