Standing on the banks of the river, Rili sighs and looks out across the rolling green hills. Her Master was dead after having saved her from drowning. They crashed on the lost continent of Pandaria. The natives tried to help, but it was all for naught. The grief and guilt wracked her body most days and nights. If she hadn't stolen away Vician, this wouldn't have happened. If she hadn't been so selfish, he would still be alive. If she hadn't been some defected succubus that felt an emotion more than lust, then it wouldn't hurt so much. If she was like every other demon, it would be better.

But she's not. Even with Vician dead, she is unable to return to the twisting nether. Stuck alone in a world without her Master; what a great punishment for killing him. She sniffs and wipes fruitlessly at her eyes. Tears roll down her cheeks as she wallows in her self-pity. She does not hear the soft footfalls behind her or the rustling of leaves and bushes. She does not notice until the barrel of a weapon is placed against her head. "Don't move," a harsh voice whispers into her ear.

Chuckling humorously, she clenches her fists. "I was wondering when Kalira would send someone. It was never a measure to run away forever, just to get away and try to convince my Master to be with me forever. How did you find us?"

"It wasn't hard. Follow all the destruction and spill some coin for a few loose lips here and there," Faith responded with a small grin on her face. "Not the greatest kidnapping."

"Wasn't meant to be," whispers Rili. "He's not here. He is with the Pandarins, being prepared for burial. He died saving me." Her knees buck and the succubus falls to the ground. She sniffs and grips the ground, digging her slender fingers into the soft earth. "If you have come here to kill me, know that it would be a blessing and if you seek to do real damage to me, I would pray that you keep me alive. I killed my Master. I killed my love. And now I must atone for my sins." At the end of her words, her voice hitches and finally breaks. Quietly sobbing, she presses her forehead onto the ground, bowing in sorrow towards the distant village where her master lays.

Faith sighs and drops her gnomish pistol. "Shit." She rubs her forehead and thinks of a new plan. Holstering the weapon, she reaches down and pulls the lithe demon to her feet. Keeping a firm grip on her arm, she pulls the quickly sobering succubus with her. "Come on. I'm taking his body back with me and I need you to make nice with the Pandas." Not giving Rili the chance to argue, Faith pulls her towards the village.

"B-But I haven't seen him since he drowned. I-I can't go in there," Rili stammers and struggles against the assassin.

"Look," Faith says, pulling Rili to a stop. "I just need you to get me past the panda bears. You can do what you want afterwards, but I am leaving with his body."

Rili huffs. "So, you can take him back to Sylvanas and her pet slut?"

Faith's eyebrows quirk up. "This coming from the embodiment of lust."

"I have slept with no one. Not even Vician," Rili spits back. "Kalira has slept her way around the Undercity. Who's the bigger slut then?"

Faith sighs again and tromps off towards the village again, ignoring the satisfied smirk on Rili's face. When they arrive at the village, all is not well. The normally bustling town is silent. As they creep forwards, they find the charred remains of Pandarins scattered around. The villagers dead where they did their tasks of the day. Faith lets go of Rili and pulls her daggers out.

Rili looks around and picks up a long stick from the ground. She follows Faith deeper into the village as they near the temple where Vician was being held. "Something isn't right."

Faith looks back at her. "Ya think?" She asks sarcastically. They soon approach the temple find the door hanging wide open. Afternoon sun pours into the small room and illuminates a pale, sickly figure standing over a dark robed corpse. The sickly figure turns and flings out a dark green bolt. Faith and Rili dive around the sides of the building, narrowly escaping the attack.

"My, my. His little slut bothering me still," an all too familiar voice wheezes out.

The color drains from Rili's face. "Holy shit."

Faith looks over at her sharply, "You know who this is?"

Rili nods. "Yea. His name is Tibarn Bonefever. One of the Horde Heroes. He attacked me and Vician killed him in rage."

"Your master needs to do a better job at that," Tibarn wheezes out. He coughs harshly, doubling over from the pain. "Though, my new master managed to reverse some of Vicians' attacks."

Rili peeks her head around the corner, only to be greeted with another attack. She pulls back. "Your new master?"

Tibarn grins. "Yes. Now that I have Vician, his plan is nearly complete."

"Who is your master, Bonefever?!" Faith yells from her side of the door.

Tibarn chuckles. "Like I'd tell you. It's so much more fun watching you struggle against something you barely understand." He fires off another bolt of dark energy. "But, you've taken enough of my time." Though his light figure, he scoops up Vician with one hand. He mutters an incantation and a portal opens up before him.

"You won't get away with this," Rili yells at him from behind the door. "This is not over!"

The former warlock chuckles. "My dear, it has been over since Brill." And with that he steps through the portal, disappearing with a wink of magic.
