"Impossible," John muttered when the strange man in the strange outfit finished. He had thought Sherlock was crazy, but this... "Doctor" was the strangest man John had ever encountered.

"Not impossible, just highly improbable!" The Doctor grinned. John scoffed and looked to Sherlock. The detective, however, looked thoughtful.

"You aren't falling for this poppycock, are you?" John demanded. Amy rolled her eyes.

"Oh, come on! You just saw a man come back to life. Is there really any other logical explanation?" she yelled. Jack smirked and put his hands in his pocket. Before he could flirt, however, he pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket.

"Doc, look at this." he said. A look of terror was in his eyes. The Doctor ran over and grabbed the note and read it aloud:

"Once upon a time, there was a brave man whose true name no one knew. He saved the universe many times and had made countless friends. One by one, the Doctor would lose his friends. His friends would forget. The Doctor would break his promise, or the Doctor would try to save them. Well, no matter, because they will remember. The Doctor did not count for one thing: the drums. Xxx M&M"

"What does that mean, Doctor?" Rory asked. Jack was pale.

"Is it really...?" Jack questioned.

The Doctor's head hung. "I'm afraid so. Not sure who the other man is, though," he admitted.

"I might have an idea," Sherlock said.

The Doctor clapped his hands. "Well, then, we should explain this elsewhere. Come along Ponds and others."

The Master smirked. "Our plan is going according to plan, I see," he told his partner. Moriarty rolled his eyes.

"What did you expect. Now, I think a certain guest is waking up."

The two masterminds smiled maliciously at the figure on the ground.
